Sold To The Mafia Lord

You’re Too Skinny

Amelia worked wonders with her hands, skillfully massaging Alexander’s tense muscles. With each stroke, she could feel the tension slowly melting away. It was a satisfying feeling to provide him with some much-needed relief.

As Alexander relaxed under Amelia’s touch, he couldn’t help but feel a pang of hunger. He had been working tirelessly since morning, neglecting his own needs in the process. The thought of food lingered in his mind, and he raised his head to look at Amelia.

“You know,” Alexander began, his voice tinged with a childish tone, “you’re such a bad wife.” His comment caught Amelia off guard, and she paused her hands, momentarily stunned by his words.

“Huh?!” Amelia exclaimed, her surprise evident in her voice. She stopped massaging him, her hands hovering in mid-air as she processed his statement.

“We haven’t had lunch,” Alexander reminded her. Amelia’s face flushed with a tinge of embarrassment as she realized her oversight.

“Oh, I’m so sorry,” Amelia apologized, her voice filled with genuine remorse. “I completely forgot about lunch because of the workload. What would you like to eat? We still have a few minutes before closing.”NôvelDrama.Org holds text © rights.

Alexander observed Amelia’s panicked movements, and a sense of calm washed over him. He reached out to reassure her, his voice soothing and gentle.

“You don’t need to stress yourself,” Alexander said, his tone comforting. He understood that Amelia had been caught up in her work and had simply overlooked their lunch. There was no need for her to feel burdened by the mistake.

Amelia, however, couldn’t shake off her regret. She was determined to make it right.

“I completely forgot about bringing you lunch,” Amelia confessed, her voice laced with remorse. “Come on, just tell me what you want to eat, and I’ll make sure you’re taken care of.”

As Amelia tried to persuade Alexander to choose a meal, her stomach betrayed her, emitting a loud growl. Instantly, her face turned beet red with embarrassment. She wished she could disappear, her cheeks burning with shame.

A chuckle escaped Alexander’s lips as he watched Amelia’s mortification. It was endearing to see her vulnerability and genuine concern for his well-being.

“Looks like we both need a break and some food,” Alexander remarked, a playful glint in his eyes. “How about we grab a quick bite together? It’ll give us a chance to relax and enjoy each other’s company.”

Amelia’s embarrassment slowly transformed into Sweetness.

Amelia didn’t argue with Alexander’s suggestion and watched as he got up from his chair, extending his hand towards her. The two of them interlocked their fingers, and together they walked out of the office.

“Thought you wanted me to order our lunch?” Amelia questioned, a hint of skepticism in her voice. Alexander simply chuckled in response, his eyes sparkling with mischief.

“Let’s go have lunch somewhere,” Alexander proposed, his tone filled with a sense of adventure. He led the way, with Amelia strolling closely behind him.

As they entered the employee cafeteria, a noticeable shift filled the air. The usually bustling space was suddenly quiet and awkward. Whispers and stolen glances circulated among the employees, who dared not meet the eyes of the couple seated near the window area.

Amelia couldn’t help but notice the change in atmosphere. She felt a mix of self-consciousness and curiosity. It seemed that their unexpected lunch outing had captured the attention of their colleagues.

Despite the lingering awkwardness, Amelia and Alexander focused on each other’s company. They chose a table near the window, allowing the natural light to filter in and create a warm ambiance.

As they settled into their seats, Amelia couldn’t help but feel a sense of excitement. This impromptu lunch felt like an escape from their work-filled routine, providing them with a chance to connect on a different level.

They perused the menu, discussing their preferences and sharing recommendations.

Amelia noticed that the initial awkwardness began to dissipate as their colleagues became engrossed in their conversations. But it was still abnormally quiet as all the employees maintained what they were saying while some who were far from them Began gossiping amongst themselves.

“Isn’t that The CEO and his new Assistant?? What are they doing in the employee’s cafeteria??” A female employee asked in curiosity.

“She’s the lady from before that the former receptionist had disrespected and ended up losing her job” Another female employee chipped in, making sure to keep her voice down.

“That means she must be something more to The Boss, don’t you think so??” A male employee said as he sipped on his cocktail and stole a glance at Amelia who was biting a crab.

“Their relationship must not be simple, “A girl said slowly as she bit her bacon.

“Mhm, that is… Something” The first girl who had started the conversation said again.

Meanwhile At Alexander’s table, As Alexander savored each bite of his meal, he did so with a charismatic finesse. He seemed to be quite particular about his food, taking his time to appreciate the flavors and textures.

Amelia, on the other hand, dug into her food with enthusiasm, thoroughly enjoying every bite. She quickly finished everything on her plate, feeling satisfied and content. However, Alexander had a different plan in mind.

He playfully took a serving spoon and added more food to Amelia’s plate. She looked at him in disbelief, her eyebrows furrowed in mock annoyance.

“Do you want me to get fat?” Amelia complained, her tone laced with playful exasperation. She knew that Alexander had a habit of spoiling her, but this was a bit too much.

“You’re too skinny,” Alexander replied with a mischievous grin, his eyes twinkling. “Having a little extra skin isn’t a sin, you know.” He continued to heap food onto her plate, seemingly unfazed by her protest.

Amelia glanced around the cafeteria, aware that some of their colleagues were within earshot. She bit her lower lip, torn between scolding Alexander for his actions and not wanting to spoil his reputation in front of others.

Her determination, however, remained unwavering. She made a silent promise to herself that she would get her revenge once they were back home.

As Alexander busied himself with his phone, Amelia gazed around the cafeteria, contemplating her plan. Thoughts of playful pranks and mischievous schemes danced in her mind. She couldn’t help but feel a surge of excitement as she thought about the payback that awaited Alexander.

Their lunch continued, filled with laughter and camaraderie. Despite her silent plotting, Amelia couldn’t help but enjoy their time together. The playful banter and gentle teasing only added to their shared connection.
