Spoiled By My Bossy CEO Husband

Chapter 641 Big Brother Complex

Chapter 641 Big Brother Complex

After Lottie and Ralph left, the atmosphere turned awkward in Chapmans' Villa.

Connie embarrassedly moved the instant noodles to the side and asked, "Mr. Louis, have you had

lunch?"

Ian was a little tense, scanning around the house suspiciously. Hearing Connie's question, Ian slowly

shook his head.

Connie found Ian too cool to start a small talk, but Lottie wanted her to take care of Ian.

She tried another time. “They might need some more while. Do you want some instant noodles?"

Ian finally turned his head and looked sternly at Connie. "No, thanks."

Connie clenched her fists to suppress her rage. "Do you want some fruit?"

Ian frowned. "I’m fine." Including this time, Ian had rejected Connie three times.

Connie did not want to talk to him anymore.

When Connie decided to leave Ian alone, Ian asked, "Are you Lottie's agent?"

Connie hadn't expected him to say so, and she was slightly overwhelmed. "Yeah, you know me?"

"Yeah."

"Lottie and I used to be good friends. Later, I became her agent."

Ian nodded and suddenly said, "You're a bit incompetent as an agent."

Connie's face fell.

"Lottie's works have never ended normally. There’re always all kinds of accidents, which is the reason

she still hasn't made any good work. She's even been mocked at by anti-fans."

Connie swallowed her noodles hard when she started to think back.

He was right. Other than this concert, none of her films and variety shows ended successfully.

Connie started to doubt herself. But before Lottie came, everything was smooth. Accurately, Lottie was

unlucky, and she brought all the troubles here.

But she didn’t just blurt it out.

Instead, she nodded and said, "Probably."

"Try harder," Ian said calmly, "Otherwise, the wages are too good for your ability."

Connie felt inexplicably ashamed. So, she quickly apologized, "I'm sorry. I will try my best to work

things out!"

Inexplicably, the whole conversation turned into Ian’s lecture towards Connie.

Stella and Fabian exchanged glances. They began to protect Connie.

Fabian said seriously, "Ian, don't blame Connie. She is very good to Mommy."

Stella echoed, "Mommy might have run out of luck, so she always runs into some scumbags and bad

things."

Ian frowned, "She married to Ralph. Why would there be a bad luck? So, as it turned out, the team

lacks a thorough recruiting assessment."

Connie was speechless.

She didn’t know that Ian had such kind of big brother complex to Ralph.

Fabian and Stella agreed to Ian. Elijah said, "Because it cost Mommy too much luck to meet daddy,

she has always encountered difficulties in other aspects."

Ian pondered for a moment. "You're right." He touched Elijah's head appreciatively.

In Ian’s eyes, Ralph was out of Lottie’s league.

Elijah gave a smile. "Daddy is lucky to have Mommy, too. So, he has to work very hard to keep Mommy

by his side."

Elijah was not someone who favored one over the other. Furthermore, in his heart, his daddy was the

luckiest man. It's Daddy's great fortune to be able to marry Mommy.

Ian was noncommittal.

Connie chimed in, "Then... Mr. Louis, what do you think we should do?"

Ian threw a pile of documents from his briefcase and said to Connie, "Will the Twins be shot in a few

days?"

Connie nodded.

"Change these people. They have secretly made some negative comments about Lottie on the

internet. No one knows if they'll do anything bad to her in the future."

Connie quickly took the documents and flipped through them. Those names being marked by Ian were

all important supporting roles, and her expression changed. Supporting roles were important to this

movie and they had a lot of interaction with Lottie and Natalia. So, if something unexpected happened,

the shooting would inevitably be delayed and might even be suspended midway.

To Lottie, this was no small matter.

If someone took advantage of this, Lottie's path of acting would be ruined.

"I'll discuss it with the director now." Connie's face darkened as she was about to call director Joe.

However, Ian stopped her. "Wait, I haven't finished yet. Rubby Chao."

Connie's face darkened, "She's a very important role in this movie. Is there something wrong with her?"

"I didn't find anything unusual with her recently, but she questioned Lottie's acting skills before and

even suppressed Natalia. She was a vile person who will seek revenge for the smallest grievance."

"But... Her agent told me that she has changed."

"That’s because she doesn't have a backer. If she has a sugar daddy in future, or if someone gives her

other benefits, she may do something bad to Lottie."

Ian’s words had enlightened Connie. No matter what, Rubby had once been at odds with Lottie.

Instead of letting Lottie risk, it was better to use a newcomer.

"I see. I'll talk to the director, too." Rubby was a tough character. She had won Best Actress award.

Although she had obtained it through money, she still had fames in the industry. If she was told to be

replaced when the movie was about to start, she might be pissed.

"And then Quy Sampson." Ian continued.

Connie's stared him. "Is there something wrong with Quy?"

If she remembered correctly, Quy had helped Lottie during the concert. Moreover, he liked Natalia very

much and came from a good family. He wouldn't do anything to drag her down, would he?

Ian said, "No, he isn't."

"It is..."

"Quy is too young, Ralph doesn't like him. His existence will upset Ralph. If he is not working with

Lottie, Ralph can rest assured," said Ian. This text is © NôvelDrama/.Org.

Ian was too obsessed with Ralph, wasn’t he?
