Start With An Unexpected Affair

He might be her Boss but that’s it! He has crossed the limit and there is no way she is going to just take it

At first she made herself believe it was just a harmless visit when he came back again the second on an excuse that he needed a little help finding a place to eat dinner

“I’m not sure what you are doing but i would like if you stop it” she told him carefully picking her words not to say the wrong thing or offend him as he is still her Boss anyway

Yasmin cast a doubtful look at him wondering what exactly he is curious about? Or why he would be curious about her in this way?

Is he curious about her family? He could have just ask her questions about what he is curious about? But what exactly did he want to know? And is her wardrobe part of the things he want to know about her?

“I’m sorry if I overreact” she apologize swallowing her complains

“You don’t need to be sorry, i should have done this in a better way”

“I like you Yasmin and I don’t want to have just Boss and employee relationship with you, as you might have guessed I want to date you”

Yasmin stare at him processing the fact that he just confess to her, it does not seems to come as a shock to her since her gut feeling keep hinting her but hearing it say it clearly make her dumbfounded

“What do you say? Let’s date”

“I’m sorry Mr. Bays, I don’t think I want to be in a relationship now”

Yasmin let out feeling a little nervous and watch Mr. Bays’ eyes change, his pride seems to be hurt

“I will go back in now” she told him not wanting to stay in the awkward for a much longer minute.

Thompson’s face changed furiously as she walk back inside leaving him on the spot, he want so much to grab her back just now

He regret wasting his time trying to make her family feel comfortable with him, he should have just go ahead and deal with her like all his exes

He thought if he choose a different and gentle approach it will be easier to have her but none of his approach worked so much and it’s getting him frustrated already

Of all the women he has gotten involved with, he seem to abhor a stronger affection for her and want desperate not to hurt her like he did the others.

Thompson hear a loud squeal and turn angrily to the person who just made the noise

A lady in her late twenties stare in horror at him with her palms over her mouth

But as much as he enjoys it, the lady lying on the floor seem to be in much pain and suffering

He notice there isn’t a whip mark on her neck and stand up to strike her again leaving her screeching with another suffering

When he had make sure there is whip mark all over her body, he pull her gently and hug her to himself taking a big inhale of the smell of blood and sweat coming out of her body

“I love you” he told her bringing her face to his gaze and smash his lips on her forcefully

“My mark is on you now, no man would dare to have you now”

“Do you live around here?” Thompson asked silently turning slightly angry at her

The lady shake her head to answer but he grab her hand and pull her closer with her resisting so hard to be let go

“Shhh!” He halt her from screaming out and she instantly obey nodding her head fearfully

“I’m not here for you so just go quietly”

He release her hand and push her away after making sure his words sink into her head and she scurry off immediately

Thompson cussed angrily as he watch her leave, he did not think he would see any of the women here, that was his last woman and having her this close might not be comfortable.

Veronica throw the pictures the secret person she has hired gave to her inside the bin angrily

It’s been a week now and she has not found anything worthy, just a waste of her money

The secretary seems to be having something with another man instead and that too the Boss of her new working place

Maybe the lady’s hobby is to date her Bosses but if something was going on between her Kyler and the secretary then it should have been found out

Veronica put a call through to her secret detective and yell at him to get more information, this time on her husband and inform her about any woman around him

“Let me help you with that” she offered keeping the smile on her face

“Don’t bother” he try to wave her off but she insist and succeed in losing the tie

“Are you going to be busy tonight again?” She asked

“No I have an early flight to catch tomorrow”

“What? Are you are just telling me about it?”

“How many days?”

“Four days, it’s an unplanned trip”

Veronica didn’t bother to offer her help again but go back to sit feeling upset about the stupid trip

At this time in their marriage they are not supposed to be far from each other, that would only bring them much apart

She need all the closeness and much intimacy as soon as possible, a four days trip now will only add more damage to their marriage

“Must you go on this trip? Can’t your assistant or the vice-president go in your stead?” She asked but he keep quiet and give no reply

“Our marriage will be in danger if you keep doing this Kyler” she told him and that get his attention

“We are drifting apart from each other and any distance trip isn’t going to help, I want to make us work again Kyler, please?”

“Give me another chance” she pleaded trying to be honest and go to hug him from behind

She bury her face in his face and try to coax him with feeling down and sorry about everything

If she could cry right now it would be perfect but her tears seem locked up as they won’t come out no matter how hard she blink her eyes

When he didn’t push her off, Veronica smile happily thinking maybe this would work so she clinch her arms around him tight

“I love you Kyler” she told him sweetly.

After about fifteen seconds he unclench her hands and turn to her still holding her, which make her more excited

“The trip is an important one…” The smile disappear from Veronica’s face instantly

“I need to go”

What? Did he not hear her well? Their marriage which he values so much is on the verge of collapsing and he still cares about some stupid unimportant trip?

Did he not mean it when he said he has forgiven her and still want to make their marriage work again? Asking them to start all over and put the past behind them

What kind of trip could be more important than their marriage and her? Or is he going to meet some woman rather than a business trip?

The secretary? She is in another city now so that’s possible

“Kyler…” She try to talk to convince him again
