Chapter 432 No More Thanks To Me, Please!

A little while after Rachel had accompanied Celine into her ward, she woke up and began to look at the

unfamiliar environment in confusion.

"Ahh, you're awake finally!" Rachel said, as she looked at her and heaved a sigh of relief. Then, she

gave her a glass of warm water and said,"You can't eat food now. Just drink some liquids first."

Hearing Rachel's words, Celine slowly turned to her and glazed over blankly for a while, before

asking,"Rachel, what has happened to me?"

With a mixture of anger, aggravation and worry, Rachel looked at her and repeated,"What happened?

Celine, my dear, how can you do this to yourself? Who does that Philip think he is? Is he really worth

dying for?"

The harsh words of her friend reminded Celine of what she had done. Then, she rubbed her aching

head and touched her upset tummy, before saying,"I, I...... just drank some wine this afternoon. Then, I

got a little emotional and took some drugs."

As the vague memory of her madness gradually surfaced to her consciousness, Celine seemed

astonished and kept scratching her head. How could she have caused to herself such a stupid and

doctor worriedly.

"Don`t worry, you can count on me. I will arrange some nurses to keep track of her status every once in

Gently putting arms around Rachel's shoulders, Hiram consoled her,"Relax, honey, nothing is going to

It was already near daybreak, when Rachel and Hiram finally made it home.

Lying comfortably in bed, with her head supported on Fannie's shoulders, Rachel whispered from the

When getting out of Fannie's room, Rachel found that it was much brighter than when they came back.

She then stretched herself with a yawn and went upstairs by elevator instead of staircase.

Hiram hadn't slept yet. When he saw that Rachel entered the room, he patted gently on the empty

space of the bed beside him and said,"Come and have some sleep."

Rachel took off her clothes and tuck herself in. It sure felt so nice to cuddle in Hiram's arms, so she

opened up to him and whispered softly,"Honey, thank you so much!"

"Don't be silly, dear. What do you thank me for? Am I a stranger to you? No more giving "thanks" in the

future, alright? I'm your man and I'm always here to protect you and the people important to you. You

should never fear anything." Hiram said softly, as he closed his eyes and gently rubbed her hair.

However, Rachel didn't make any sound. She just smiled, raised her head towards her loving, amazing

man and gave him a big juicy kiss on the mouth.

For a fraction of a second, Hiram opened his weary eyes and looked deeply in her eyes. Soon, he

found that the drowsiness that had captured him gradually, faded away completely and was replaced

by his growing sexual desire.
