Suddenly Married

I didn’t get much sleep overnight because of what happened. I can’t believe Kian and I are married. We didn’t even go through the courtship or boyfriend-girlfriend stage.

My eyes remained closed. I just want to sleep the whole day. It’s weekends now, I don’t have classes.

I felt the door open, and next thing I hear some footsteps of him. My eyes remain closed and pretend that I was still asleep.

I can hear the sound of the metal when he put it on the table that is just beside the bed. After that, he sat down next to me. I ignored him, but suddenly I can feel his finger tips on my cheeks.

“I know you’re awake,” he softly said.

When will I get use on seeing his face everytime I wake up in the morning? And his very manly and sexy voice that would wake me up each day.

I opened my eyes slowly and I saw him smiling. His smile was so sexy. He even bit his lower lip. Then he lean closer and gave me kisses me on my head. I close my eyes when he kissed my nose. When he was about to kiss me on my lips I covered my mouth with my hand.

“Why?” he asked with a furrowed eyebrows.

“I haven’t brushed my teeth yet,” I said while my hand is still on my face trying to cover my lips. He nodded and grinned.

“I don’t care,” he said.

Tssk! I just don’t want to.

I crinkled my nose as I shook my head. His eyes are smiling. I also snorted and looked at the bedside table. There is a tray on top of it. He had prepared breakfast for me- sliced ​​fruits, pancakes, hot choco for me, and coffee for him. Shouldn’t it be my duty as his wife to prepare breakfast for the two of us? My eyes narrowed.

“Let me,” I said when he was about to put a portion of food in my mouth.

“Let me do it, please,” he said in a very sweet voice. I couldn’t help but blush by his sweetness.

“You’re blushing,” he said. His full attention was on me so I immediately averted my gaze. I felt ashamed, but he just laughed at me.

“Are you smitten?” he asked making my face even redder.

“Kian…” I whispered. He chuckled and pinch the tip of my nose. “I am glad. I’m glad I have an effect on you.”

“Kian!” I shouted when he kissed me abruptly.

“Let’s eat. We’re going somewhere,” he said as he started to slice the pancake that was on my plate.

“Where will we go?” I asked before taking the mug with hot chocolate.

“Anywhere. Where do you want to go?”

“It’s up to you.”

“Hmm… I think we should go to heaven,” he said playfully with a smile on his lips.

I snorted at him. He’s really crazy. It took us about half an hour before we finished our meal. I took a bath first even though he was teasing me that we should take a bath together. It looks like someone has a bad plan.

When I went downstairs, I couldn’t find Kian’s parents. He said they left early this morning. Kian said he woke me up when his parents were about to leave, but I was deep in sleep. Kian’s parents have another house. They often stay there because their business is just close by. Same as my mother and father.

Kian and I are on our own now. Our parents told us after we signed the marriage certificate, that when there is a problem, we’ll call them. But I hope that there won’t be any problem that will come our way. Especially that we don’t really know each other yet.

After that embarrassing incident way back when we were in elementary, I just ignored him and didn’t care at all. I did not look and pay attention to him anymore. I tried to forget about him.

Who would have thought that the boy who hated me way back in our elementary days, because of my love letter for him is now my husband.

I didn’t trapped him in this marriage. He even agreed to it. I’ll just hope that I will not regret this in the end. I really hope so.

Kian and I took a road trip to the North. I was not bored the whole trip. I enjoyed Kian’s company so much.

We’re on the getting to know each other stage and I kinda like it. I love the soft and sweet side of him. Anyway, he’s really sweet. Even before, whenever I saw him with his girlfriends. His exes now. He’s really showy.

Anyway, I shouldn’t be thinking about his past relationship. They are already his exes and I should care about them. It might lead me to overthink and feel some insecurities about myself.

We arrived at a resort in the northern part of Luzon. It is a white sand beach and a leisure park that’s located in the middle of an island. This is the very first time that I went to an island without Mom and Dad. I only go on trips like this when the whole clan of both of my family sides have outings or family gatherings, that I didn’t really enjoy.

The last time was when I was in high school. At that time I got some allergies all over my body. It leave my skin with black marks, making me not comfortable with my skin.

Everytime I go out of the house I wear long sleeves and pants even in a summer days. I just felt like people were looking at me and criticizing me.

Mom, bought some cream to get rid of it but my insecurity didn’t. That’s why I covered my whole body when getting dressed even when my skin is completely healed.
