Bailey glared at him.

Waverly thought she was concerned about the wedding dress and quickly said, “They have arrived, but

they have had a long journey, so I got Sammy to let them rest in the hotel. If you wish to see them, I

can call the hotel manager now and get him to arrange for them to come over.”

Bailey waved her hand and said, “That won't be necessary. It's already dark out. Let's leave it until

tomorrow.”

“Give it a taste and see if it suits your palate. If you don't like it, I can make something else for you

tomorrow.”

and swallowed the pork shank.

After saying that, she got up, brushed past the two housekeepers, and strode toward the bathroom.
