Super Mommy and Her Triplets

Chapter 833

Chapter 833

Zeke reached out to pick up the wine glass on the table, tilting his head back to take a hearty gulp. A cold, fierce glint flashed across his eyes.

People often described him as gentle, elegant, and courteous, but that did not mean he could tolerate betrayal from those he trusted. NôvelDrama.Org owns all content.

He would not let a traitor make it through the night.

“Go on. Who is it?”

The personal bodyguard clenched his jaw and hissed through gritted his teeth, “Edward Summer.”

Edward was the person in charge of the research base.

A crisp shattering sound echoed in the room as Zeke crushed the wine glass in his hand.

The scarlet blood mixed with the dark red wine, rolling and falling, dripping onto the white carpet, blooming into startlingly vivid patterns.

“He didn't spread the news about Juliana coming to see me, did he?”

“Rest assured, Mr. Shurmer. I've intercepted his message. He has betrayed you and is now of no use. Do you want me to get rid of him?”

Zeke casually lifted his arm and uttered coldly, “He's still useful to me. Go and bring him here.”

“Right away.”

That very night, Philip received a message from the person in charge of the research base that Zeke had already left Moranta.

He still wholeheartedly believed in the information from the mole named Edward.

With Bailey dead and Zeke's departure, he did not believe that Juliana could single-handedly turn the tide and seize the position of the family head.

In this internal struggle, I'll surely achieve an overwhelming victory. When the time comes, Raymond will present me with the position of head of the family.

“Mr. Hoffman, bad news! We've received news from the farm. They... They said the young master has gone missing!” A bodyguard clad in black rushed in from outside.

Philip sprang up from the couch and roared, “What on earth are you good for? You can't even keep an eye on a boy, so what's the point of me keeping you around?”

“P-People come and go from the farm every day. Nothing has ever gone wrong for so many years. There has to be more to this sudden disappearance. I suggest you send a top-notch detective to properly investigate the matter.”

Philip took a deep breath, and after suppressing the unease in his heart, uttered through gritted teeth, “If Sofie finds out her son is missing, she'll surely break the agreement. When that happens, everything I've planned will be ruined. Send someone to find him immediately. I must see him, dead or alive. No, I

need him to appear before me unharmed. Got it?”

“Yes, understood. I'll dispatch someone to search for him right away.”

After watching the bodyguard leave, Philip slumped back onto the couch.

The deal between him and Sofie hinged entirely on the boy. If anything untoward befell the boy, he could forget about gaining the power of Tarragon in the future.

In other words, he schemed for so many years only to have someone else reap the harvest in the end.

How could he possibly accept that?

Meanwhile, inside the study of the Hoffman family's main house, Raymond had also received news of Zeke's departure from Moranta.

He was discussing matters with Juliana, and when he heard the news, he could not help but exclaim, “It seems he still has feelings for you. However, you two are from different worlds and lack the destiny to be together.”

Mixed emotions flashed through Juliana's eyes.

Is that man so compliant that he'll leave when I ask him to?

She always felt that things were not as simple as they seemed and that he was not someone who could be easily manipulated.

Then again, it doesn't matter whether he truly left or not. All that matters is to make the family elders believe he has left. That way, those old fogies won't focus their attention on me anymore, and I can freely do what I want.

“Dad, he's now a part of my past. Let's not talk about him anymore. Starting today, I have nothing to do with Zeke. From now on, only one person will be inextricably linked to me, and that is Huntley. He will be my only husband in this lifetime, and he will also be my respected and esteemed partner.”

“As long as you can understand, that's all that matters. Once we've dealt with your second uncle's faction, I will formally pass on the position of family head to you.”

Juliana remained silent.

A private jet gently landed on a serene mountaintop at the boundary of Mount Arnmond.

A moment later, a man and a woman stepped out of the aircraft hand in hand.

The surrounding light was somewhat dim. Through the soft halo of the moonlight, one could vaguely see that the lawn below was filled with kneeling assassins dressed in black.

Not only was the surrounding area so quiet that one could hear a pin drop, but a strong aura of death permeated all around.

Several vultures perched on the treetops felt their lives threatened, and they flapped their wings in panic as they began to scatter haphazardly.

“Mr. Luther, you've finally arrived. If you had been two days later, I truly wouldn't have been able to hold

the situation together.”

Artemis kicked him away with a look of disdain on his face. “Scram.”

Bailey, on the other hand, snorted. “You've been with Mr. Luther for many years, so you should've learned some of his tactics. Why do you underestimate yourself so much?”

Ken scratched his head and chuckled awkwardly. “What I've learned from Mr. Luther are all business strategies. I'm truly not cut out for this.”

Bailey turned her head and scanned the surroundings before asking, “What's the situation now? Have Mr. Doyle and Sofie arrived?”

Ken wiped the playful smirk off his face and nodded. “Both parties have already arrived at the foot of Mount Arnmond, Mrs. Luther. However, they didn't take any further action and have very likely sat down for negotiations. After all, their intense battles at the foot of the mountain led to heavy casualties, making it a costly loss.”

Bailey nodded in response before shifting her gaze to Artemis, who was looking around with a telescope. “What do you think?” she asked with a smile.

Artemis tossed the telescope to Ken, took off his windbreaker, and draped it over her shoulders before pulling her into his embrace.

“Even though spring has arrived, the wind in the mountain pass is still quite chilly. If you can't stand the cold, head inside the plane.”

Bailey could not help but chuckle. “I'm not sickly, so there's no need to fuss. I'm asking you a question. What do you think?”

Artemis narrowed his eyes slightly, a calculating glint dancing in his gaze.

As soon as Bailey saw the cunning glint in his eyes, she knew someone was about to face misfortune.

“We can't let them join forces. We must find a way to incite them to war. We should take out one side first to make handling the matter later much easier.”

Bailey nodded in agreement. “I think so too, but now that they've met, I'm afraid it won't be easy to stir up trouble.”

Artemis threw her a sidelong glance. His gaze blending with the moonlight was soft enough to melt into water.

“Then, I must trouble you to do me a small favor, my dear.”

Bailey wrapped her arms around his neck and went on tiptoes to whisper in his ear, “You want me to create a hyper-realistic mask for you using my disguise skill, am I right?”

Artemis let out a hearty laugh. “My wife truly understands me. That's right. Prepare the hyper-realistic mask. Let's use the strategy of sowing discord, shall we?”

Bailey smiled happily as she replied, “We're on the same page. It's no wonder we're so in love. In fact, for Sofie, Wendy is her winning chip because she can use her to control Holden. If Mr. Doyle's men

intend to kidnap Wendy, it means their motives are impure, so we need not instigate them with words. Their alliance will crumble immediately.”
