Chapter 29

Sahil's POV

My phone was ringing. I opened my eyes with great difficulty and saw that Gautam was calling me.

" Hello ?? " I said in a confused state of mind.

" You are still sleeping, lazybones?" He said in a cheerful voice.

" It is just 6 AM. Are you out of your mind?? Of course, I was sleeping. "

" Well.... drag yourself out of your bed, get ready and come in the living room in 10 minutes. "

" Why??? "

" Oh, God!! You have already forgotten? We have to catch your brother red-handed. I am sure, he

would try to elope with his bride. Come on hurry up. "

" Ok....coming. "

" Tell Swati to get ready too. "

" Hmmm. ok "

I called Swati to wake her up. I told her to be ready and come down along with Manu.

I went downstairs after getting ready.

All the boys were ready. The girls were getting ready.

" He will use the backdoor most probably to go out. " Gautam said.

" Why he can go from the front also? " I said.

" Trust me, he would use the foolproof plan. I used it and succeeded. "

Gautam said with a smile. We all nodded.

We all went to the back door from outside. All of Sagar's friends and I were standing there.

After about 10 minutes, Sagar opened the door and pulled Damini out. He was so happy that they

made it but then they saw us and froze.

They looked shocked and we all were smirking at them.

We all were looking so amused while he cursed under his breath.

" It was obvious copy cat ... You are not as smart as me.. so can't think of an original idea as it is you

were dreaming about Damini all the time. I had a bet with them that you will escape from here. " He

laughed.

" Ok... Mr. Smart Doctor, now let us go... " Sagar said but he shook his head

" Forget it... You are going with our sightseeing. "

" That is not fair Gautam. " Sagar glared at him.

" I know... But you have no option.. come Damini... " Gautam caught Damini's hand and took her inside

the home. He was so annoyed that he stomped and followed them...

" Hey ...... That is my wife... Go out with yours. " Sagar said.

" We all are going out... You stay in the house alone... Sahil call everyone." He said.

" Sure everyone is ready.. let's go... brother..." I patted on his back and all the girls started coming out.

Mom and dad said that they were really tired so they refused to go...

I also called Samar to join us. He said he would be there in 20 minutes.

Everyone was ready but manu was still not there. I could not control myself and asked Swati.

" Bhai she said that she is not feeling well. Her eyes were also red. So I let her sleep. " I got upset with

the thought of her not going with us.

" No Swati go and give her something to eat and some medicine. She is our guest and we can't leave

her here alone. " I said to her and she nodded and smiled at me.

" Aren't you being concerned about her a lot, Bhai? What is the matter? " she said raising her

eyebrows.

" There is no matter, don't stress your little mind and go and call her. "

" Don't lie you are asking about her all the time. " she was smiling.

" Swati don't irritate me, go and call her. Everyone is ready, we all have to leave. "

" Ok... But I can feel something is going on in your mind. " She said and went to get her.

After 10 minutes, I saw them coming downwards.

She looked somewhat sad. She avoided looking at me. Her eyes were swollen and red.

Did she cry?? But why?? Did that Mohit said something to her?? Is he more than her best friend? Are

they having an affair? He somehow looked very close to her.

Sagar and Damini asked her if she was alright and she just nodded and tried to smile. Sagar and

Damini looked very concerned about her.

After a few minutes, I saw even Vikram going to her and asked her if she was feeling unwell. But she

shook her head. He hugged her and took her aside. He was asking her something but she kept saying

no.

What was he asking?? Why was Vikram so concerned about her. He looked very serious and angry but

she caught his hand and said that she was alright.

What was going on???

Finally, we all went for the family and friends picnic. It was a beautiful morning and we all decided to go

to Morni hills and some other places nearby. We even booked rooms for everyone with the help of

Maurvi's dad.

Though I was in a bad mood because it doesn't matter if I accept it or not, I was getting drawn towards

Manu. And I needed to find Manyata and tell her to persuade our parents to stop this nonsense and

that we don't want to be together. I would give her anything if she could get me out of that situation.

I was upset about the whole thing. My life was in a mess right now but I was happy to see all the happy

faces around me.

We checked into the hotel to take some rest. Most of the people retired to their rooms to freshen up.

Everyone looked tired because of the late-night, but very happy.

Only Manu looked very upset. Sagar asked her if she was alright and she nodded politely and smiled.

Sagar went to his room and she went away in another direction. I followed her.

She was sitting alone at a place where the view was awesome. But it seemed that she was lost in her

own world.

I saw that her phone buzzed. She smiled a little and picked up the phone.

" Hi Mohit, how are you? Oh, you went there??..... Sorry, I was not there. We all have left for the

picnic....... We will be back tomorrow....... I will come back to Delhi very soon don't worry..... Mohit, trust

me, I would join you next week positively... I know that and miss you too. Bye, take care.... love you

too. "

She disconnected the call and shook her head with a little smile.

She loves him?? No !!

I felt some kind of severe disappointment.... as if I lost everything. I started feeling very restless all of a

sudden.

I tried to stay away from her but couldn't stop myself and went in front of her.

" So ?? Are you enjoying it?? " I asked her.

" Yeah... " she said not looking at me.

" Where is Swati? " I asked her.

" I don't know, maybe in the room."

" What are you doing here all alone? "

" Nothing... Just like that.... "

" Oh!! Wanted some privacy to talk to your lover boy? "

" What?? " She looked surprised.

" Missing him already? " I tried to control myself but I was like a raging bull

much? You should have spent time with him. "

have?? " I said pulling her to me. Our bodies were touching now.

" What the hell?? What do you mean by that?? " she was angry now.
