One-Hundred Fifty-One: Watching the Pack

Unknown

We are still watching this pack. We have seen everybody except for the unicorns. I have to say the

Luna is beautiful. We have noticed that the women rarely leave the pack territory. When they do, it is in

a group; usually, Mykenzie and Kylani are with them. That makes taking the Luna problematic. While I

know that the end goal was always to get those two, let’s be honest, there is no way that is going to

happen. I guess it could be possible, but since I value my life, I will not be the one sacrificing myself.

Now that everyone is back in one area, Asmoday has sent several more guys to watch. Now there are

a few of us on all sides of the pack. The only issue is that since Darrius’s land turned over to them, and

I found out that they bought the land between the two packs, we have a huge area to watch. I am going Contentt bel0ngs to N0ve/lDrâ/ma.O(r)g!

to have to report back to Asmoday soon. So far, I have nothing. I sure as hell don’t have any type of

plan in order. Maybe he’ll have some ideas.

Asmoday

I had a guy watch the Alpha and Luna on their honeymoon. The problem there was that he could only

watch when they were out of the house. I knew there was no way we were going to be able to grab the

Luna while they were over there. It was too risky, that is their home, and the minute we would have

grabbed her, it would have been over. I knew our best bet was watching the pack land and working out

their day-to-day.

“Any news from the guys?” Darrius asks.

“Not really,” I tell him.

“Well, I have some news. I have four guys that are willing to spy from inside the pack.” He replies.

Well, finally, some good fucking news. It is about time something happened in our favour. I was really

starting to get a bit frustrated.

“When could they start?” I ask.

“Immediately, I just told them I needed to talk to you. They do want an assurance that if something

happens and they need to leave the pack fast that they can come here.” Darrius explains.

“Yes, they are more than welcome here if shit turns foul,” I say.

Hot damn, finally, we will know what is happening inside that pack. We discuss the fine details. We

decide that they should report to us every two weeks. That way, they hopefully avoid detection. I let

Darrius know that if something major happens, we need to know about it right away. He is in full

agreement. I can’t wait to tell Vepar about this. She is going to be happy. I know she has been

spending a lot of time watching the pack. Mainly our daughter. I have a good feeling about this. I feel

like we are finally on the right track.

I heard back from my guys, that have been watching the pack that night. As I figured, they have the

women well-guarded. I was also told that they don’t leave the territory that often. Oh please, I can

guarantee that the goddesses leave more than they realize. There is no way those guys are keeping

them confined to one area. They would get bored when they get bored, and things happen—things like

pranks and random visits—watching the pack might be a bit harder than I realized. I knew about them

getting Darrius’s pack; I didn’t know until tonight that they had purchased the land between the two

packs. That gave my guys a shit ton of land to watch. I really didn’t have any more guys to spare to

watch. Maybe with the four on the inside, I can pull a few from around the land. First, I have to see how

good the four on the inside are. I told my guy to hang in there and that, hopefully, I might not need him

there soon.

I have no idea how I let both Nigel and Blain talk me into this. While it’s true, I have never fully gotten

out of the ring. I was almost there. Now somehow, they talked me into staying cause they needed

someone on the inside. I seriously think there is something wrong with my head. So far, I have worked

my way to one of the islands. I think it is the least occupied one. I have not seen Asmoday yet. I saw

two wolves which I thought was weird. I had no idea Asmoday was working with wolves. I did learn

where Vepar was, though. I was surprised that she is not with Asmoday. I think she would be safer

there with him. Because, at the moment, she is certainly not safe. I have no idea where I am. All I know

is that I am in the middle of some ocean. I have no idea which ocean. I can tell this is the lower lever or

common beings holding facility. Which, I am surprised he even wastes time with them. Everyone wants

more exotic or rare beings. I still can’t believe they talked me into this. They better have something

good for me for doing this—those bastards.
