The Baby’s Mother Need Love

Chapter 131

Chapter 131

131. I’m Only Doing This to You

Jessie used the back of her hand to lightly pat her hot cheeks. She grabbed her pajamas tightly and walked out. From the corridor all the way to the spiral staircase, she did not see anyone.

Just now, there was clearly someone scratching the door of their room.

She and Alex did not hear wrongly.

Just as she was about to return to her room, a light cough sounded from below the stairs.

Jessie could tell that it was Fia’s voice.

She could not help but laugh and walked downstairs.

She saw the little girl sitting on a wooden staircase around the corner.

She was wearing pink pajamas. Her arms were crossed on her knees. Her fluffy little head was lying on her little arms.

“Fia, why didn’t you sleep in your room and come here?” Jessie bent down and touched her little head.

“Hmph!” Fia moved her head away and shook off her hand.

Seeing that she was losing her temper, Jessie sat beside her and gently smiled. “I have already told your father and he also agreed. But it is very late now. He’ll definitely sing it to you tomorrow.”

Only then did Fia raise her head to look at her. “Really?”

Jessie smiled and nodded, “Now you can go back to your room to sleep, right?”

“Can’t he sing tonight?” The little girl pouted her pink and tender little mouth, “I’ll go to your place to sleep together. Can’t I lie on the bed and listen to Daddy sing?”

“Fia, don’t push your luck. Go back to your room and sleep!” Alex’s low voice interrupted them.

Fia heard his voice and did not dare to make a sound.

She slowly got up and walked downstairs.

The little girl clenched her little fist, ‘Tomorrow I will let you hear orangutans to shout!’

With this thought, the little girl suddenly felt much more at ease.

Jessie turned her head to look at the tall man wrapped in a white robe on the stairs and rolled her eyes. She quickly chased after the little girl. “Fia, I will send you back to your room.”

“Let her go back by herself.” As soon as Alex’s cold voice faded, the little girl ran away.

Jessie did not chase after her anymore. She went back upstairs and reached out to pinch the man’s arm.

Being grabbed by Alex, the man took the opportunity to hit her and carry her horizontally. “Are you addicted to pinching?”

“Who told you to be bad!”

“I’m only bad to you!”

There was no more sound upstairs. Yosie then walked out from a corner downstairs.

She looked up and stared at the door of the master bedroom that was closed for a long time, as if she wanted to see a hole in the door…

Because Fia still had to go to the hospital in the morning, Jessie woke up very early the next day.

She originally wanted to make cake for them but could only give up.

Seeing that there were a lot of ingredients in the fridge, she boiled a pot of shredded chicken porridge, steamed dumplings, and made coffee for Alex.

The morning sun in the winter gradually rose, sprinkling through the huge glass window into the kitchen.

Alex got up, and there was indeed a set of matching clothes at the end of the bed.

A light blue shirt and a black suit, on top of the clothes rack hung a straight black coat.

He put it on and went downstairs. The fragrance from the kitchen spread throughout the hall.

He walked over and saw her slender figure from the kitchen door.

She was wearing a blue and white sweater and a pair of black, narrow pants. Her long hair was casually tied behind her head, revealing her slender and elegant neck.

The warm sun shone on her fair and clean face, and her thin hair, as if they were scattered with bits and pieces of golden light.

Alex could not help but stop in his tracks. When he pulled his hands into his western pocket, he quietly leaned against the door frame and looked at her.

Jessie felt the gaze from the door. She held the white spoon that was stirring the porridge in her hand and turned her head. She saw him standing tall and straight at the door. She smiled and said, “You’re up?”

The blue shirt and black pants that she gave him were not yet worn. The buttons on the collar of the shirt were randomly opened and two hands were in the pockets, revealing the lean and beautiful wrist bone and the watch that she gave him last time.

He hummed in acknowledgment and walked in leisurely. Seeing the breakfast that she had prepared on the counter, he turned his head to look at her. “Breakfast is prepared. You don’t have t o get up so early in the future.”

Jessie continued to look at the fire of the porridge. “I know. I can’t sleep, so I got up first.”

Alex turned around and saw the few traces of blood in her eyes. He frowned slightly. “You didn’t sleep well? Was it caused by Fia?”

“No, I have always been like this. After changing to a new place, I would not be able to sleep well in

the beginning.” Jessie saw that the porridge had already been boiled to a sticky state and turned off the fire, “Breakfast is ready. You go to the restaurant. I will bring it out.”

Alex looked at her busy side profile for a while and walked over. He grabbed her chin and lightly pecked her pink lips before going out. When he reached the door, he turned around and said, “You will get used to it slowly. This place will also be your home in the future.”

His voice was unusually gentle.

Jessie’s face was red.

Yosie walked in and greeted them with a smile, “Uncle, Aunt, good morning! It is good to have an aunt. There are delicious dishes so early in the morning.”

Alex nodded lightly and walked past her.

When he brushed past her, Yosie’s shoulder almost brushed his arm.

Yosie did not move.

Alex lightly curled his lips and did not touch a single hair of hers.

Yosie smelled the refreshing mint fragrance on his body and could not help but say, “Uncle-in-law, my grandma arrived at around nine o’clock. Can I drive your car to pick her up?”

Jessie raised her head to look at her.

Then she looked at Alex who had already walked to the kitchen door.

Yosie’s grandmother? Gina’s mother wanted to come over?

He never mentioned it to her.

Alex met her questioning gaze and did not show any expression. He looked at Yosie again and said, “Go to the garage and pick a car. Find Housekeeper Bart and get the car keys.”

Yosie smiled sweetly. “Thank you, uncle!”

Since she was there, Jessie did not have the time to ask Alex directly. She pursed her lips and carried the breakfast to the dining room.

The gardener outside started to work. The people at home also got up one by one.

Nanny Lisa went to the kitchen to find Jessie and said that Fia insisted on her going to help wash up.

Jessie took off her apron and went over.

Yosie put down her chopsticks and followed closely. “Aunt, I’ll go and help.”

Jessie was just about to politely decline when Alex’s deep voice sounded from the main seat, “Ask your aunt to go and let her take care of her daughter.” Content © NôvelDrama.Org 2024.

Yosie and Jessie were stunned at the same time.

Jessie knew the relationship between Fia and her but the Horfoud family should not know. Even if.

they knew that Gina bought the egg back then, it would not be hers. But he actually said in front of Yosie that it was her daughter. She really did not know if she should be happy or terrified.

And Yosie was clearly shocked by his words.

Previously, the children called her mommy, and now Alex personally admitted the identity of this woman. Was their Laurent family going to completely abandon their aunt?

She forced herself to calm down, sat back down, and once again revealed a harmless sweet smile.” Uncle-in-law, you’re right. That girl, Fia is naughty. She might not listen to me. Aunt is now treating the two little naughty kids so obediently. If my little aunt here, I might be envious of her.”

The atmosphere in the kitchen froze all of a sudden.

Jessie pursed her lips and did not say anything as she looked up at Alex.

“Go and see Fia.” Alex’s expression remained the same. He looked at Jessie with a gentle gaze.

Jessie nodded and quickly walked out.

Yosie’s small face was slightly pale, “I’m really sorry, Uncle-in-law. I also don’t know what happened to me recently. I keep saying the wrong things…”

Alex did not look at her and put the coffee cup back on the table, “I will book a flight ticket for you and Mother-in-law to return to N City at night.”

“Uncle…”

Yosie did not think that mentioning little aunt would make him so disgusted. For a moment, she actually did not know whether she should be happy or worried…

Alex had already stood up and left.

When Jessie reached Fia’s room, she heard the clear and crisp sound of a child inside.

It was the song that the little fellow mentioned yesterday.

She only felt her temples throbbing.

The little girl was still addicted to nagging, and once she woke up, she brought up this matter again.

Felix was also inside. “Can you stop howling? If other people heard this early in the morning, they would think that our family has been attacked by wolves.”

Jessie pushed open the door and walked in.

The little girl sat beside the bed with her two short legs hanging. She shook her legs and cried even more happily.

Jessie went in and called them, “Felix, Fia, it’s breakfast.”

“Mommy, quickly control her. She was howling so loudly that I had nightmares early in the morning.” Felix frowned and shook his head. He left the room and went to the dining room.

Fia did not get off the bed either. She was still sitting there and shouting at the top of her lungs.

h, oh, oh, she shouted with great effort.

Jessie walked over and slightly bent over to pinch her little nose with a smile, “Don’t you want to

eat breakfast?”

“Will you carry me there?”

“I bought a Christmas tree. Can I take you and Big Brother to look after it?”

The room only calmed down when Alex came over.

Driver sent Felix to school.

After Alex called Rick, he stayed behind to send them to the hospital.

Fia slowly went to the kitchen.

She chewed for an hour and only put down her chopsticks when Alex was about to lose his temper.

It was almost nine o’clock in the morning.

Alex went to get the car and Jessie brought Fia to the door to wait for him.

Seeing Alex go to the garage, Fia immediately stretched out her hand and pounced on Jessie, wanting her to hug her.

Jessie laughed, “Are you addicted to hugging?”

“Before you promise me that you will not do it, I will always punish you! Now I will punish you by hugging you!” The little girl was still full of confidence.

Jessie carried her soft little body and could not help but lightly pinch her little butt. She smiled dotingly, “Little scoundrel!”

Fia once again shouted at the top of her voice, “Stepmother…”

“Fia, what are you shouting about?!” A strict female voice sounded at the entrance.

Jessie and Fia both turned their heads to look.

It was a cold and stern looking Old Madam.

She was wearing an ink-red hand-embroidered Tang gown top and black embroidered broad leg pants. She was carrying a black handbag and her silver hair was neatly tied into a bun at the back of her head. Although her facial features looked a little old and the wrinkles at the end of her eyes and her eyes were deep, one could vaguely tell that she was a beauty when she was young. She called Fia but her eyes were looking at Jessie. Her eyes were sharp and cold.
