Killian POV

I don’t know how I will feel knowing that Hailey is pregnant all I know now is that I am so happy because we will finally be a happy and complete family. I couldn’t stop my tears from dripping so I quickly turned away from my wife.

And when she approached me and ask me what the problem was and I quickly hugged her. I can’t express how happy I am right now.

“Di you go to the doctor and have a check up?” I asked her as I pulled away my hugged from her.

She just shook hee head as response. “I just found out when I had a pt this morning so I haven’t been to the doctor yet,” She replied.

“Let’s eat first and then we’ll go to the doctor so we can be more sure and also know everything about your pregnancy.” I said with a smile.

“Hep hep! You still have a work Mr. don’t be in a hurry.” She stopped me.

“My work can wait while you and my baby can’t. And I still don’t have a meeting today so I can leave.” I defense and she did nothing but to agree.

I immediately put on my suit and then I took Hailey’s bag and carry it, at first she would have tried to take it from me because she said it wasn’t heavy but I refuse to give it to her so at the end she didn’t argue anymore.

When we got out we saw my secretary who looked like he was going to have lunch as well because he was already standing with her phone and wallet.

“If ever I have an appointment today, cancel all of it.  We will leave and go to the doctor so I might not be able to come back,” I told the secretary and he nodded in response.

We headed straight to the elevator, I couldn’t help myself from feeling tense and nervous because this was the first time I was going to be a full -fledged dad and I didn’t know what to do.

I nodded. “I’m fine, I’m just nervous. I don’t know the right way to react now that I’m going to be a daddy.” I honestly said.

She smiled at me. “You will be the best daddy, don’t think about it. We will work together for our future child.”

I smiled at her. My wife is really my light, the elevator opened just in time so we got out and got in the car.

We went straight to a seafoods restaurant because that’s what my wife wanted to eat. When we arrived there weren’t many people so we quickly found a seat and ordered food.

“Are you sure you want to eat crab? All I know is you only eat shrimp,” I asked her after the waiter left.

“It looks delicious hubby, so I want to taste it. Maybe our baby also likes it so I’m craving for it,” She replied to me.

“It’s okay whatever you want to eat for you and our baby, but be sure it’s healthy.” I said and she nodded.

“Hubby what if I get fat?” She suddenly asked

“What? It’s natural wife because you’re pregnant,” I replied.

She snorted. “Of course I’ll get fat and then I’ll get  ugly too, maybe you’ll find someone else who’s better than me.”

I laughed at what she said so I took her hands. “I won’t trade my family for another woman, even if you put on weight you’re still the most beautiful in my eyes. Okay?”

Soon after, our order arrived so we started eating, I was happy to see that my wife ate well.

I took a tissue and wiped her mouth because of the sauce left on her lips. “Take it easy on the food wife.” I warned her

“I’m doing it hubby, it’s just the food is really delicious,” She replied.

“Would you like to have a take out of crabs and shrimp? So you can have something to eat later at home?” I asked her and I saw her eyes twinkle before she nodded.

I called the waiter again to order what we were going to take out.

When we finished eating we immediately decided to leave because we still had to go to the doctor. I first called my acquaintance who is now an ob gyne.

Then after I talk to my friend and I get in the car.

“What did your friend say?” my wife asked.

“He’s in the hospital now and he’ll be your ob,” I replied to her while starting the car engine.

My wife didn’t answer and she just leaned over, I took the small pillow in the back of the car and handed it to her.

We only traveled for about 30 minutes and arrived at the hospital where my friend works. When I parked the car, I opened it for my wife and supported her.

“I can handle hubby, our baby is it blood form as of now.” Hailey laughed.

“Just let me help you.” I said

We went inside of the hospital and we see my friend who is was waiting for us. We immediately went inside of his office.

“I didn’t know that your wife is very gorgeous in personal.” David praised Hailey

“If I’m going to choose my wife I will choose the best.” I answer back.

He turned his gazedto my wife who was silent. “Hailey right? Are you sure Killian is really the one you married?” He joked.

Hailey looked up and nodded. “I guess? Hahahahah.” She said while laughing.

He immediately started checking up on my wife.

“You’ve been pregnant for a month.” his introduction.

“What are we need to do? Did she need vitamins? What foods she need to eat?” I asked.

He laughed. “Take it easy Killian, just calm down I’m not finish yet.”

“Hailey need to drink vitamins, these are the ones you need to buy for her and the baby,” the doctor added all at once to Killian’s list.

“You’re also not allowed to stay up late and get tired so don’t stress yourself, eat nutritious foods especially vegetables and fruits, do also exercise. These are the other things that are forbidden to her so you don’t ask any more questions.” The doctor’s  explain.

“Every week Hailey you need to have your regular check up” he said to my wife.

“Ahm, David can I ask? Can we still have our sexual intercourse?” I asked directly.

I was quickly slapped on the shoulder by my wife and I could still see her face becomes red. “You’re really embarrassing,” She said

“It’s okay Hailey, it’s really natural that there are questions like that. And to answer your question Killian yes you can still and it is still healthy if you will have your love making but be sure that the baby won’t be pinched and when she’s close in giving birth much better to stop it, “David explained.

Killian nodded immediately and later they said goodbye.

At the hospital, we also bought her medicines and vitamins because David said that they also had them for one purchase.

While we were in the car I looked at Hailey but her eyes were closed.

“Are you tired?” I asked her.

“No, I didn’t do anything.”

“What do you want to eat?” I asked again.

“You have take out earlier, weren’t you? That’s all I want to eat and you can cook me hubby porridge.”

“What? We already have more take out and you want to add another dish?” I asked in shock.

“Yes, I was craving all of a sudden.” She answered back.

“All right when we get home, but are you sure you don’t want to eat anything else?” I asked, because David had warned me earlier when it comes to pregnant women.

“Yes hubby, if you think I’m going to make your life miserable because I’m pregnant don’t worry I won’t,” She said laughing.

I just laughed too and continued driving.
