The Billionaire's Regret

Chapter 203

Chapter 203

Pierce looked at the dog, which was as tall as he was, and thought it was stupid and ugly. “Pets aren’t allowed on planes!” Wyatt smirked as he looked at him. “My private jet permits it.” Pierce paused for a moment and realized he was outclassed. ‘There’s no way!’ He shook Ivy’s hand and fixed his gaze on her. “When I get back home, Pretty Lady, I’ll order you a plane made of gold and encrusted with precious gems!” ‘I can’t let Whiner Mister entice my pretty lady!’ The corners of Ivy’s lips twitched. She gave Pierce a friendly smile. “No, I’m not a fan of planes.” Pierce let out a dejected “oh” and was disappointed because it was yet another day that he had failed to give his lovely lady a gift. The husky barked as everyone walked out of the hotel. “Woof!” Ivy noticed the woman standing in front of the hotel, shivering from the cold. She was very familiar to me. It was none other than Avery Lamour. Avery was still dressed in Duke’ suit jacket, but her dress had dried. Because of the early morning chill, she was shivering. As she stood there, she appeared frail and pitiful. The husky smelled Duke’s jacket and assumed there there, but when he wasn’t, it lazily walked behind Jimmy. Avery’s eyes lit up when she saw Wyatt because she was delighted to see him. She approached him, but when she noticed the person behind him, she came to a halt and retreated slightly. Ivy’s eyes flashed. Gil Lamour appeared to have made up his mind to give his daughter to Wyatt Reed. Leo frowned as he didn’t recognize Avery. “Who is she?” This belongs to NôvelDrama.Org: ©.

Wyatt’s expression became solemn. Jimmy babbled. “We don’t know who she is. I have no idea, and Mr. Reed knows even less!” He sounded eager to sever all ties with Avery, but they all recognized her. Avery’s eyes were filled with pain as she looked at Wyatt. She was hesitant to speak. “Mr. Reed, Don Reed invited me to New York and asked me to accompany you on your flight.” Wyatt’s expression was cold and sullen. Leo was pondering something on the side. Ivy smiled a few seconds later. “That’s a complete coincidence. Then let her follow.” Ivy took Pierce’s hand in hers and walked over to the car. Leo remained silent and followed suit. Wyatt walked a few paces with his cane. When Wyatt abruptly came to a halt, Avery happily followed them. “Get the hotel to buy a plane ticket for her,” he told Jimmy, his voice unusually cold. “Yes, Mr. Reed!” exclaimed Jimmy. Avery became immobilized. Her body stiffened as she felt the blood clot in her body. She felt humiliated as if she had been slapped in public with no regard. Ivy could fly on Wyatt’s private jet, but Avery deserved nothing more than a commercial flight. Jimmy quickly summoned the hotel manager, who dashed over. “Book a ticket for Ms. Lamour back to New York City,” he said. On the flight. Ivy and Leo were sitting face to face because they were discussing the company’s affairs. Jimmy looked after the husky. Wyatt could only sit face-to-face with Pierce as a result. Wyatt was given a cup of coffee, and the flight attendant gave Pierce a glass of milk. She couldn’t help but coo at Pierce a few more times. “What a sweet little child!” Pierce was irritated. “Given that we’re all men, why did you give me a glass of milk?” He rolled his eyes and saw that Ivy was thirsty, so he cleared his throat like a tiny adult.

“Please bring me a cup of coffee. I want to give it to my pretty lady.” ‘Nanny said all girls like sweets,’ Pierce thought. Wyatt chuckled as he raised his brows. “Less sugar.” Pierce mumbled. “Bring the sugar over here. I’m going to put it in myself!” He couldn’t put his trust in the passengers on Whiner Mister’s plane. ‘What if they didn’t put sugar in the coffee and gave Pretty lady bitter coffee?’ A cup of coffee and a jar of sugar were brought to him by the flight attendant. Wyatt hooked his lips meaningfully and purposefully to tease him. “Don’t add too much sugar. Pretty Lady isn’t a fan of sweet drinks.” Pierce clenched his teeth and refused to believe Wyatt. He did the exact opposite because he assumed Pretty Lady liked sweets! Without saying anything, Pierce scooped a large spoonful of sugar into the coffee until it was about to spill over the edge of the cup before stopping and looking satisfied. ‘Pretty Lady must be aware of my feelings for her!’ Wyatt raised his brows and smiled at him, but he didn’t stop. He reached out and sipped his bitter coffee slowly. ‘How savory!’ Pierce jumped up and carefully carried the sweet coffee to Ivy. “Beautiful Lady!” This coffee was made especially for you. You’re the only person on the planet who gets to taste this.” Ivy took a breather and spoke with a smile. “Aww, thank you. Simply put it here. I just finished a cup, so I’ll drink it later.” Pierce nodded cheerfully and bounced back to his seat. “I’m thirsty,” Leo said as he reached out. “May I have it?” Ivy did not object, saying, “Of course.” She handed Leo the cup of coffee, and he took a sip with anticipation but quickly spat it back out. Ivy was taken aback and went to get him a tissue. “Are you all right, Dad?”

When Leo looked at Pierce, he had a complicated expression on his face. He looked at his daughter, hesitant to remark on the sweet coffee. “It’s nothing. I suddenly remembered that I needed to keep my blood sugar under control.” He would most likely die of sweetness if he finished this cup of coffee. Pierce was a bright and perceptive child who noticed. Ivy persuaded the flight attendant to remove the coffee, which Wyatt and Pierce witnessed. The former was gloating while the latter was gnashing his teeth. Pierce was irritated because he realized he had been duped. “You shouldn’t bully children, Whiner Mister!” Wyatt teased him with a slow smirk. “Aren’t we all men? How are you doing, kid?” Pierce grunted and turned away from him. ‘When I inherit Dad’s estate, I’m going to trample on this Whiner Mister!’ The plane touched down. Wyatt returned Ivy and Leo to the Morgan Mansion. He then went to the Reed Mansion. Don Reed was expecting him at home. Eva appeared to be in a good mood because Don Reed had finally changed his mind and was ready to abandon Ivy and the Morgan family. As a result, she would not have to put up with Ivy. She would gladly accept any woman other than Ivy as her daughter-in-law because Eva believed she could control those women. Wyatt risked his life for Ivy this time and even ignored the company’s affairs to accompany Ivy on tour. Don Reed was enraged as a result of this, and he decided to abandon his marriage plans with the Morgans. Wyatt noticed Eva talking to a woman in the living room as soon as he entered the villa. Surprisingly, Avery Lamour was the one. Avery also appeared to have just arrived. She jumped to her feet as soon as she saw Wyatt. “Mr. Reed, you’ve returned!” Eva was pleased with Avery because she was well-mannered, sweet-natured, and easy to control.

Wyatt furrowed his brow. “What brings you here?” His tone was abrasive and cold. His face darkened as he held a cane on one side. Avery’s brow furrowed. “I was the one who invited Ms. Lamour to our home,” Eva, who was standing on the side, said with a smile. “Our families have long been partners, and we should spend more time together. She’s here to sightsee, so she’ll be here for a few days. Wyatt, you must accompany her and ensure that she enjoys her stay here.”
