Mavis was quite mad at the way Blaine basically ordered them to have their baths and come to his office. “Like, why should I do stuff just because he says so? In fact, I’ll go to his office whenever I want” she said to herself after bathing and eating her breakfast.

” So, what do you think of this plan?” Victoria asked making Mavis stare at her in confusion.

” What plan?”

” Didn’t you go to Blaine’s office?”

” No, I have been really dizzy”

” Ah…” She said before she looked away mischievously, patted her hair, and laughed.

” What? What happened?”

” I don’t know Mavis. I don’t think I should be the one breaking this unexpected news to you but, it seems our life just got more dramatic”

” That’s ridiculous. Putting us in the spotlight is only going to do more harm than good”

” Yes… but that might take a while”

” Wait, how public are we talking about here, is this gonna be like some kind of reality TV show?” Mavis asked looking petrified by the thought.

” No, I don’t think so. We’ll just feed the public with some info. Don’t worry, his father will be here soon to walk us through it all.”

” Why the hell are you excited about this?”

“Just cause. I mean, I love drama. This is perfect ”

“Why was I even surprised? ” She muttered before she sat back on her bed. Victoria had made up lies about Blaine for clout before, of course, she would love this.

” is there no other way”

” Well, I guess if you’re able to think of a better idea than this before… Tomorrow when Blaine’s father arrives then there would be another way. Until then, it’s either we play the part or we end up in jail for something we don’t know. Mind you, we have no way to prove our innocence ”

” God” Mavis sighed and ran her hands through her hair. The thing that now hurt her the most was that if the whole thing goes according to plan, she will officially be labeled a mistress for life and her mother would have the last laugh.
