The Divorcee and Her Three Chaotic Children (Olivia Clarke and William)

Chapter 177

Chapter 177

Upon hearing what Caroline said, Johnathan turned around.

His gentle and pale face suddenly became a little gloomy.

“So you know that the secret you sent was fake, but you didn’t make it public? You caused my father to

be defeated. Caroline, how dare you?”

A sharp knife poked out from the crutch in Johnathan’s hand and he directly pressed it against

Caroline’s neck.

A bloodstain instantly appeared on her hardly intact skin.

Caroline was terrified to the extreme.

“Mr. Kinsman, please don’t! I, I didn’t know it until later I thought about it carefully and found some

clues. When I found it out, it had been a long time, and your father had moved abroad, so I didn’t dare

to mention it casually…”

Seeing that the sharp blade stopped, Caroline continued boldly.

She sounded so aggrieved as if she was also a victim.

“Do you think I’ll believe you?” Johnathan sneered and looked at Caroline, who was deliberately

arousing people’s pity.

“Mr. Kinsman, you can refuse to believe me, but you can’t slander my loyalty to your father!” Caroline

said firmly.

The solemn look on her face was somewhat convincing.

“Fine, then tell me who interfered with it. I’ll consider pulling you out of hell. I advise you to tell the truth.

After all, it’s torture to step into hell with one foot, isn’t it?”

“I’ve stored all the clues I found in the bank. If you save me, I’ll give them to you. I can guarantee that

there is definitely something useful for you!”

“Ha, you’re smart.” Johnathan sighed and waved his hand to let his men in.

“Mr. Kinsman, please forgive me. Now that I’m on the verge of death, I just want to survive,” Caroline

said respectfully.

“Send her to the lab.”

“Yes, Mr. Kinsman.” Felix nodded and immediately ordered someone to carry Caroline out.

After they left, Felix continued.

“Mr. Kinsman, this woman doesn’t tell the truth. Why do you believe her?”

“She’s right about one thing. The enemies of our enemies can still be our friends. After all, we’ll make

use of a revenger sooner or later.” Johnathan picked up his cane and walked out of the iron prison as

he spoke.

“But, Mr. Kinsman, I always feel that what happened back then must have something to do with the

mother and daughter of the Clarke family. It’s hard to say whether Caroline is an enemy or a friend.”

Felix was anxious. He didn’t want to see Johnathan being deceived, so he boldly spoke out the doubts

in his heart.

“Are you questioning me?”

“I wouldn’t dare.

“I just feel that back then…”

“My father has made his own decision about what happened back then. He asked me to keep Caroline

and Gianna alive, which means that they are still useful. I’ll keep them alive for the time being. We’ll

talk about the other problems later.”

“Yes, Mr. Kinsman!”

Seeing that Johnathan was getting annoyed, Felix shut his mouth subconsciously.

Johnathan went up the stone steps and returned to the study on the top floor.

He walked over and sat in front of the computer, moving the mouse to wake it up.

Then a photo of a smiling woman appeared on the computer screen.

Johnathan looked at the woman on the screen with a wanton smile on his face.

“We’ll meet again soon, Olivia.”

At Maple Villas.

After being washed by the heavy rain, the night became a little quieter.

William saw Olivia finish the pancake, and then he was urged to rest on the bed by Olivia.

Olivia’s sudden “prodigious concern” made him suspect whether Jameson had exposed his injury when

treating Olivia. Otherwise, why would Olivia, who had said that she didn’t want to see him again in the

mud pit, suddenly be so nice to him?

Not only did she supervise him to take a shower and go to bed, but she also thoughtfully tucked him in

the quilt. Her warm and considerate actions made him feel uneasy.

He even wondered if it was the calm before the storm. Maybe she was in fact planning to leave with the

children overnight. But Marshall, who spied outside, reported that Olivia and the children were all

asleep. William was puzzled. Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g

After hesitating for a long time, he took out his mobile phone and texted.

William: [Are you asleep, James?]

Jameson was charging in the game world and didn’t reply to him.

William: [I saw that you were online playing games. Did you ignore me on purpose?]

Jameson replied: [No. I’m not Jameson.]

William: [Oh, my wound seems to have split open.]

Jameson: [Why? What’s going on? I just bandaged your wound this afternoon.]

Jameson was shocked when he saw the message from William. He didn’t even think before replying by

voice message. Halfway through his sentence, he realized that he was exposed.

William: [Are you Jameson now?]

Jameson was speechless.

“William has never been like this before. Who on earth has taught him to be so cu nning? I have almost

had a penta kill in the game!” He complained in his heart.

Now he had no choice but to explain to his teammates that he had to stop playing the game halfway.

So he picked up his mobile phone and turned on the voice transfer function. He said, “Sorry guys, my

wife is laboring. Bye.”

Then, without waiting for his teammates to respond, he reluctantly logged off the game.

He switched back to his Skype.

[It’s late at night, William. Why aren’t you sleeping?] Jameson sat on the bed and tucked himself in,

chatting with William.

[Didn’t you sleep too?]

[It’s different. I’m not injured. I’m warning you, you should be careful with your injury. Otherwise, you are

apt to have waist problems.]

[My waist is fine.] William replied in a particularly serious tone.

Jameson was amused by the message.

William tended to be serious. Look, he took the bait!

[I don’t care about your waist, but Olivia will probably care, so take good care of yourself and don’t

move, okay?] Jameson tried to make William listen to him and take good rest to recover.

He had heard that William made pancakes for Olivia in his fever.

He was a little grumpy that he didn’t have the chance to try the pancake, but he could tell from it that

Olivia was important

to William.

“If she cares, perhaps William will listen to her.”

Jameson thought to himself.

[Did you tell Olivia about my injury? Olivia had been caring so much about me. Is it because she is

worried that I waist problems in the future?]

may

have

[Huh?] Jameson was confused.

What the hell was going on?

[William, I’ll explain. Everyone can see that you are injured even if I don’t speak it out. You really can’t

blame me for this…]

[Hey, William, are you still there? Are you angry? I found that you’ve become more and more stingy

recently. You weren’t like this before!]

Jameson continued to text in the dialog box, but William didn’t reply anymore.

Half an hour later.

Jameson was lying on the bed, hugging his phone, and about to fall asleep when he suddenly heard

the notification tone.

He quickly clicked on the message.

William: [My dear wife is here to sleep with me. Don’t send me any more messages. I’m worried about

waking her up.]

Jameson: [I’m single. Don’t show off.]

But William had turned on the No-Disturb mode.
