The fate of the Rejected Alpha

22. Mates, part 2.

EATING WITH HER MATE’S FAMILY

Occisor opens the entrance door to the second private floor, regardless of the officers’ gazes and hears no sound coming from inside. Where are they? He enters their private area.

Without any care, he takes the girl off his shoulder and throws her to the ground. Bloodstain holds back the groan of pain that tries to escape out her throat and massages her ass.

Still naked, Occisor walks to the corridor and goes towards the third door, which is where Margaret’s room is. Before he can knock and ask her for help, he hears her moaning. He rolls his eyes and walks to the first door of the hall, Mary’s room, but she is not there.

Where is she when I need her? He walks to the laundry room and takes the first dress he sees.

“Put it on,” he commanded, throwing it in the girl’s face. Without saying anything else, he walks back towards the hallway, this time to his room to get dressed.

Bloodstain smells the dress, it smells like roses. She entwines the fabric on her fingers. The cloth is very soft, in a light blue color. She tries it on and the length goes down to her knees.

The sound of the iron door at the entrance opening draws her attention back to the room. She almost screams when she looks up and sees Mary’s red eyes.

Mary narrows her eyes. The girl is a wolf, she can smell it.

Could it be…? With her supernatural speed, she approaches the girl and removes her hair from her neck, seeing the letter R branded on her skin. In the end, the goddess also opted for the name chosen by Emerald. She smiles big and happy.

“At last, you’re here,” Occisor says, crossing his arms, at the entrance of the hall.

Mary, still smiling, looks at Occisor.

“Apparently your hunt was a big success.”

“Don’t talk nonsense. I just didn’t…”

The conversation is interrupted by the loud sound that echoes from Bloodstain’s belly. She feels her entire face burn. Mary now pays more attention to the girl. Her body is way too thin and she has some big scars on her shoulders.

It seems she has suffered a lot, she thinks, but doesn’t say anything about it. It’s better not to speak of the past now.

“Give me a few minutes, dinner will be out soon.” Mary smiles as she leaves the room, going to the kitchen. She thinks of Selene. The moment finally is here. She can’t stop smiling. Neither can Selene.

Occisor throws himself on the couch as fatigue takes over his body. What now? He wonders what he should do with the girl now that she’s there. Find love was never in his plans. It was supposed to be just revenge, just murders. Only that.

“Are you going to stand there all day?” He says without even bothering to take his arms off his face to look at her.

Bloodstain doesn’t know where she can sit. In the castle where she was raised, the cold hard floor was her place. But what about here? Better sit on the floor. This is a house of murderers… Well, not unlike the castle, but at least there she knew the rules, knew she wouldn’t be murdered and what could happen to her should she do something stupid. Mas este lugar…

She sits down on the floor.

“Why are you on the floor? There’s another couch over there, get up, girl.”

Without making a sound, Bloodstain gets up and goes to sit on the other couch. She looks at him carefully now that he’s more dressed. His hair is black like hers, his biceps are huge and his arms are veiny. Compared to him, she’s very short. He must be six feet tall.

She takes a deep breath.

“What… What’s your name?” She asks quietly. .

“Surely you already know,” he replies without taking his arms off his face.

“I just heard about a traitor who hunts his own kind, they didn’t say your name.”

“Call me Occisor.”

“What does that name mean…”

Her speech is interrupted, the sound of two voices approaching leaving her alert. Margaret smells a wolf and then closes her face.

“Go away,” she tells the boy who was with her a few moments ago in her room.

The boy doesn’t understand what’s happening. Humans cannot tell if a being is lycanthropic or not just by their smell like she does if the existence. of the supernatural wasn’t known by everyone, no one would know what they were. Except, of course, for the other beings.

As soon as he’s gone, Margaret uses her speed, enters the room we’re the smell is coming and grabs Bloodstain by the hair tightly. It hurts and the girl’s eyes fill with tears. She looks at Occisor for help, but he doesn’t even blink. .

“How did you get in here, you filthy thing? Answer me, bitch!” She demands and pulls the young girl’s hair even more.

Bloodstain’s whole body shakes with fear and she can’t speak. .

Then, Mary returns to the room wiping her hands with a dishcloth, and the scene she comes across fills her with anger. Quickly, she takes Margaret by the neck and away from the girl.

“What’s gotten into you?” she asks angrily, looking into her eyes.

“I just want to know how exactly this thing got in here!”

“Then why didn’t you ask her mate?” she asks and Margaret widens her eyes. Furious, Mary shifts her gaze to Occisor. “Why didn’t you defend her?”

“I don’t like to involve myself in girl’s fight.”

“Liar!”.

Mary angrily kicks Occisor very hard in the shin and he finally changes position and massages his leg.

“Are you a fucking child?”

Mary hits Occisor’s open handed in the face, which turns red with anger.

“What do you think you’re…”

“Grow up and become a man! Because, if you don’t…” she leaves the sentence incomplete, but Occisor understands the threat.

Bloodstain massages her scalp and tries not to smile as she sees her mate is treated like a child.

“Come with me, let’s eat. This way, dear,” Mary takes the girl’s hand and guides her into the kitchen.

Occisor rolls his eyes and follows them, Margaret snorts in anger. Didn’t he say he was going to kill her, she thinks angrily. Her anger is also partly jealousy because her beloved abandoned her for turning into a vampire.

Mary sits at the head of the table as usual, Occisor on her right and Margaret on her left. Mary picks another chair and places it next to Occisor. Bloodstain sits quietly.

“What’s your mate’s name?”

“I don’t know,” he says, shrugging.

Mary sighs trying to control her anger. Deep down, she hoped Occisor would act differently when he found her, but instead, he remains stubborn. I’ll have to do all the work, she thinks and crosses her arms.

“What’s your name?” she asks, looking at the shy young woman. This content © Nôv/elDr(a)m/a.Org.

“Bloodstain, ma’am.”

“You don’t have to call me ma’am, you’re family now.”

“Yeah, family” Margaret rolls her eyes and takes a sip of her glass of blood.

“You have a very different name. What does it mean?”

“Bloodstained,” Margaret says before Bloodstain can open her mouth. She shrinks further in her seat. “And, hey, another thing. If your name begins with B, why Occisor’s mark is an S?”

Mary looks at Occisor’s neck, curious.

“Bloodstain was the name my parents chose for me, but Guila, the person who raised me, didn’t like it,” she explains in a low voice.

“And what name did she give you?”

“Sasha.”

“It’s a very nice name. Can we call you Sasha? Mary smiles gently and it makes Bloodstain feel more comfortable.

” Ó-of course!” she can’t hide her smile.

“Thank you. Oh, and by the way, the letter on your neck is an R.”

Sasha raises her hand to her neck and touches the marked skin. She turns her gaze to the man besides her, who’s just eating without a care in the world.

“You better start eating soon, before he eats everything,” Mary says.

“I… I can eat now? I don’t have to wait for you to eat first?”

“Of course not, Sasha. You should be eating already. I don’t know what kind of meat you like best, but I prepared the same one that Occisor likes.”

Sasha’s eyes fill with tears. I’ve never had the chance to choose what kind of meat I liked best. The only thing I had in my life until one day ago was bones. She tries to control her emotions.

“It smells wonderful, thank you so much for the meal.”

Mary smiles at her manners. It’s been years since the last time Occisor last praised her or the food she made.
