Chapter 47 The Interview of Chef
Chapter 47 The Interview of Chef
After leaving the community, all of the employed bodyguards left, and there were only Conrad, Amara
and Coleman in the car. After a while, they eventually arrived home, Jadeite Garden Community.
"My lady, get off the car please."
Conrad, a smile playing on his face, opened the car door for Amara to welcome her arrival.
There was nobody but only Conrad, Amara and Coleman. Amara couldn't help throwing herself into
Conrad's arms and began to sob. The grievances in Amara's heart were interwoven with her sensation
of appreciation for Conrad's help, which made her choke with sob.
"It's over. Don't cry." Conrad patted her on the back and tried to soothe her.
Under this circumstance, Coleman ran away to his room swiftly, which only Amara and Conrad, holding
each other close, were left.
A moment later Amara looked up, founding the shirt of Conrad was wetted by her tears.
"Take your shirt off. I will wash the shirt for you." apologized Amara.
"No, I can put it in the machine or take it to the cleaners." Conrad comforted her with gentleness.
"Please give it to me. I would like to do something for you." Amara gazed with deep feeling at Conrad's
eyes.
Amara was very single-minded about repaying Conrad for everything Conrad had done for her. She
was completely willing to do everything for Conrad.
In the end, Conrad finally yielded to her demand that she cleared away all the dirty laundry and sent
them back after being washed.
Enjoying trim and neat room, Conrad couldn't resist raving about that she was such an outstandingly
competent assistant who was good at not only work but also attending to the domestic side of life.
It didn't end here. The doorbell rang when Conrad swiped the phone on his bed after a bath. It was
Amara.
Conrad was casually dressed with a piece of underpants and a vest. He didn't bother to put on more
clothes, and he took a few quick steps to open the door.
"Sorry to trouble you. Here are you clean laundries."
Amara came to send my clean clothes. The pile of clothes she held were in apple-pie order and the
scent of the clothes filled the air. It was an enjoyment to smell it fragrance, let alone put them on.
"Give the clothes to me. It's getting late. It's time to go to bed." said Conrad.
"OK, fine." replied Amara. However, her eyes stared at Conrad's underpants.
For this situation, Conrad got a shock because he thought Amara saw that he had a hard-on.
Therefore, Conrad immediately turned his back on Amara and covered his erection.
"Boss, no, you've got it wrong. Your underpants haven't been washed."
Conrad felt that Amara was addicted to do laundry. She threw away no opportunity to wash the clothes
of Conrad, even his briefs.
"It's too much trouble to bother you to wash this. I can do by myself." Conrad was embarrassed.
"Well, good night! Conrad."
Amara left so quietly and closed the door carefully.
Conrad realized that Amara addressed him directly by his name instead of boss. However, it was not a
big deal.
The accident taught Conrad a lesson that whenever meeting a woman, he must get on decent dress to
cause misunderstanding.
......
A new week was coming. Amara served the breakfast for Conrad and reported today's arrangement to
him.
After sifting the recruiters, there kept three employees in the final part of interview which was led by
Conrad. All of them not only owned the highest level of chef certification, were proficient in various
regional cuisines but also had work experience in upscale restaurants. In other words, they were all the
top chefs in their circle.
"OK, fine. Schedule to interview on the morning." nodded Conrad.
"Got it. I'm about to contact the interviewees." nodding, Amara left to execute the task. Amara kept a
fresh beam on her face in the meantime.
After Amara left, Conrad felt something was wrong with Amara who was in possession of confidence
and persistence, but clumsiness and overcaution before. That was such a wonderful sensation.
"Whatever. It's good."
Subsequently, Conrad made preparation for the interview so as to improve the Francis Restaurant.
At this moment, Ashley shot him a message on WeChat. They knew each other in fitness center.
"Why don't you come to do fitness today." asked Ashley.
"I'm not a fitness freak. I seldom go there." said Conrad.
"Well. What are you doing now?" asked Ashley with relish.
"Prepare for the interview."
"It surprised me that you are looking for a job."
"No, I am the interviewer."
"Just as I said. Where are you? I can come to help you."
In fact, Conrad basically didn't need her help. Just a nose and a tongue were very competent in this
interview. Nonetheless, they had been to hell and back together in the same police station. If Ashley
wanted to come, Conrad wouldn't oppose to her idea.
"Fine. I'm in Francis Restaurant." Original from NôvelDrama.Org.
Subsequently, it was time to the interview. Amara and Conrad headed for the Francis Restaurant while
Coleman remained fiddling with his computer and was never interested in the interview.
After reaching the restaurant, Amara and Conrad saw a lively scene that the shop manager Bruno, in
ancient costume, was attracting consumers. Thanks to the culture shock of western and eastern
existed in a western restaurant, especially the foreigners in ancient costumes, which attracted a sea of
customers.
Entering into the restaurant, Conrad was greeted by all the employers, remaining in the restaurant. It
was absolutely an appropriate moment to butter up the boss.
