The Mafia’s Third Wife: Between The Devil’s Triangle

No Pity

Chapter 27 No Pity

“It felt good didn’t it?” Ramos asked.

“No, it didn’t. I was ashamed of my self. I didn’t expect that the job was going to be something like that. If I knew, I won’t have agreed.” The man said.

“Well, he knew that if you knew about the job description, you would not do it. So he deceived you and manipulated you to do his bidding. And since you were desperate for cool cash, you agreed without asking what the job was going to be all about.” Ramos said.

“I…know, but I needed to do it, because my daughter just got an admission into one of the best school in the country. So I needed money to pay for her tuition and apartment, which I didn’t have the money and so I agreed because I needed to pay those things to give my daughter the best.” The man explained.

“Awwn… that’s really touching. A father going the extra miles to make his daughter happy. What a cool father you are. It almost brought tears to my eyes.” Ramos said, a snarky expression on his face.

“Then after a while, I had forgotten all about what I did and was leaving with my family, when I received a call from the same person telling me to meet him at a dinner not far from town.

Since I was scared for my family’s safety I accepted. When I got there he was eating and then asked me if I was hungry. I told him no, but he order a plate for me and forced me to eat.

After we finished, he told me he had a drug job for me and that I would be paid 20, 000 dollars to deliver it to a location.”

“Wow! That’s a lot of money you earned from my drugs to just deliver it to him.” Ramos said starting to get angry.

“Honestly…., when I heard the amount I couldn’t believe it myself. I accepted it thinking it was going to be a piece of cake, but after I delivered it, he paid me of course, but then told me never to reveal his identity or my family would die.” He explained.

“That’s a terrifying situation to be in,” Ramos said, shaking my head. “It must have been so difficult to have that hanging over your head, the threat to your family if you didn’t cooperate.

And then to have to actually go through with something illegal, just to keep them safe. I can’t imagine how difficult that must have been.”

The man nodded, his eyes downcast. “It was hard,” he said. “But I would do anything to protect my family.”

“Of course,” Ramos said, pretending he understands him.

“So, after that,” the man continued, “I tried to put it all behind me. I tried to go back to my normal life, to forget about what had happened.

But then, a few days later, I got another call from the same person. This time, they wanted me to steal something from a jewelry store. I refused, and told them I wouldn’t do it. But then…”

He trailed off, his face pale. “What happened?” Ramos asked, his curiosity piqued.

“I… I got a call from my wife,” he said, his voice barely a whisper.

“She informed me that one man entered our house and pointed a gun on their heads threatening her to call me and inform me that they were under his custody until I do what he asked of me.”

“So you agreed and now here you are in my own custody after been caught by my men for trying to steal from another warehouse that I own!” Ramos said, anger evident on his face.

“I didn’t have a choice… He was going to hurt my family.” He explained.

“Well, I must say that the person who sent you sure has a lot of nerve dragging you white ass in here to become the guinea pig.” Ramos said.

“Now for the final question that would determine if I kill you or set you free…. Are you ready?” Ramos asked.

“Yes… I am.” The man replied, obviously shaking.

“Do you know exactly where he is?” Ramos asked.

“I… I don’t know honestly. He calls me on the phone and gives me instructions and I do according to what he instructed me to do.” The man explained.

“Well… Then, you’re of no use to me.” Ramos said as he lifted his hands and ordered that he be taken to the shark cage and be fed to the sharks.

“Please, I have told you all I know….” He begged.

“I get to decide whether you live or die and I chose that you die,” Ramos said.

“Please, I don’t want to die…. I have a family.” He begged.

“Awwww…. what a father so concerned about his family….. You know why am going to kill you?”© NôvelDrama.Org - All rights reserved.
