Chapter 75 Raven’s Plan

Alfonso walked up to Alfredo and spoke.

“Look, brother. Ever since I have known you as my brother, you have never jumped into anything without planning things because you believe that if you don’t plan it out well, people could get hurt.

You have always being the plan before action while I have always s been the action before planning.

I know that Nicolas is your friend. Heck he’s my friend also. I called him to help remember? I made him get involved.

If I had known that this was gonna happen, I wouldn’t have allowed him get involve.

You have lost a friend and it’s painful. I know it is, but I do know that rushing this plan would get us all killed including the team we are planning to ask to assist us in it.

Raven is right… we’ve all lost something in the hands of Ramos. I’ve lost the woman I love, Raven has lost her father and uncle and now you’ve lost a friend.

So we do understand how you’re feeling right now and we are begging you not to do something you would later regret, because one wrong move would ruin our perfectly made plan brother.

So just….. wait brother.” Alfonso said.

Alfredo looked at his brother, his eyes still filled with rage and grief. He knew that what Alfonso was saying was true. They couldn’t afford to rush into this without a plan. But it was so hard to sit by and do nothing while Ramos continued to terrorize their pack.

“I know you’re right,” Alfredo said. “I’m just so angry and I want to make him pay for what he’s done. But I know that we can’t rush into this. We need to be smart about it.”

“We’ll get him, brother,” Alfonso said.

“We’ll get him,” Alfonso repeated, “and we’ll make him pay for what he’s done. We’ll make sure that he can’t hurt anyone else. But we need to be smart about it. We need to be patient and strategic.”

Alfredo nodded. “I know,” he said. “I just needed to hear it from you. Thanks, Alfonso.”

“Anytime, brother,” Alfonso said. “We’ll get through this together. I promise.”

Alfredo gave his brother a grateful smile.

He also looked at Raven who stood there and watched the brother talk.

“I’m sorry, Raven. I shouldn’t have said that.” Alfredo apologized.

“It’s okay, Alfredo.” she said.

“I know how painful it is to lose the people you love and that the criminal who did it is walking free like he did nothing wrong and the people who did everything right gets killed.

But I want you to know that if we do this plan, if we patiently plan this, Ramos wouldn’t have any support system helping him anymore because once all his political allies turn against him, he would be alone and vulnerable and that’s when we will strike his assets and other things he holds dear.

I just need you to be with me on this…..” Raven said looking into Alfredo’s eyes.

Alfredo sighed….

“You know that I’m always with you on anything, Raven….” Alfredo said.

“Then we will get that son of a bitch once and for all.” Raven said, as she hugs him tightly.

Raven gave Alfonso a signal to leave them alone in the room. Alfonso quickly understood and left the room, leaving Alfredo and Raven in her room.

The room was quiet, except for the sound of their breathing. Raven broke the silence first.

“I know how hard this is for you,” she said softly. “Losing Nicolas was a terrible loss. And it’s hard to see Ramos walking around, free and happy, when he’s responsible for so much pain and suffering.”

“I just feel so powerless,” Alfredo said. “I want to do something, but I don’t know what to do. I want to make Ramos pay, but I don’t know how.”

“We’ll figure it out together,” Raven said.

“I believe that we will successfully carry out this mission and get Ramos once and for all.” Alfredo said.

“We will.” Raven said, placing her hand on his and staring into his eyes with concern. This was the first time she was seeing Alfredo like this and she didn’t know what to do or say to show that she wants to be there for him and support him.Published by Nôv'elD/rama.Org.

“When Ramos killed my family, I made a plan that got my uncle killed and now I’m full of regret.

So I don’t want to make another plan that would get anyone killed especially you, Alfredo. If anything happens to you, I don’t think I would be able to forgive myself.

You mean a lot to me.” Raven said.

Alfredo looked at Raven in her eyes.

“I’m not going anywhere, Raven. You are not gonna lose me. I promise you.”

Raven smiled, as they stared into each others eyes.

Alfredo moved closer and his lips touched Raven’s lips.

Raven was taken aback, but only for a moment. Then she leaned into the kiss. Their lips moved in perfect harmony, and for a moment, the world fell away. There was only them, and the feeling of connection that they shared.

Finally, they broke the kiss, and looked into each other’s eyes. There was something new there, something deeper than before. They both knew that something had changed. Something had shifted between them.

“I don’t want to lose you either,” Raven said softly.

“You won’t,” Alfredo said.

She smiled and kissed him again this time deeper.

He held her close, and she felt safe and protected in his arms. For a moment, they just stood there, enjoying the feeling of closeness and connection. Then, Raven pulled back and looked at him.

“We should probably get back to planning,” she said.

He smiled. “You’re right. We have a lot to do if we’re going to bring Ramos down.”

“But we can do it,” Raven said. “We’ll make sure that he can’t hurt anyone else, ever again.”

“He definitely won’t see what hit him.” Alfredo said.
