Chapter 1760 Your Will

As soon as Colton announced what would happen during the third round of the trial, the faces of many of the Spiritual Emperors present became serious. They were frightened of facing just one of the top three Spiritual Emperors, so facing all three of them at once was absolutely terrifying. All the confidence they had left was drained at that moment.

"The chief of the Di Clan is absolutely ruthless. It appears he wants to take this opportunity to get several Godly Geniuses to involuntarily expose themselves. This is going to be a great show!" Rocky couldn't help but marvel at Colton's plan.

If it was a normal competition, those three powerful figures from the Ethereal Region would never have shown up in person. However, the Godly Geniuses of the Shura Race snuck into the Spiritual Emperor Contest. This attracted Colton's attention, and so he devised this scheme.

"Allow me to formally prepare and announce the first challenge..." Enrique, the leader of the Sovereign Pavilion, stepped forward with a vacant look in his eyes. With a wave of his hand, a fiercely strong gust of wind blew through the entire area. It sliced through the air so quickly that everyone present felt as though their faces were cut by knives.

The eighty Spiritual Emperors who were stationed in the center of the square suddenly felt bound by an invisible force. Their bodies began to stiffen.

"You all are now within the power of my Spiritual Domain. Your bodies are no longer under your control. If you want to pass my test, you'll need to overcome this power. Not only will this bind your bodies but it will seize your wills over time as well gradually. You will fail and won't be able to proceed once no amount of your will is left and has been completely destroyed," Enrique announced in a low, authoritative voice.

Most of the Spiritual Emperors were already frightened before the fight officially began, especially when they realized they were tasked with leaving the Spiritual Domain of a top Spiritual Emperor on their

own.

Many of the Spiritual Emperors who participated in the meeting began to complain, as in their eyes, they might not even be able to pass one of the tests.

Colton realized that many of the Spiritual Emperors in front of him had already given up and fell into despair. He then uttered, "It seems you all think this test is too challenging. The reason we set these three tests up is to ensure that you are fully capable of entering the Holy Heaven Palace in the fourth round."

"Holy Heaven Palace? That's the legendary divine place!"

The crowd instantly fell into a discussion with each other. None of them expected that the remaining participants would be able to enter the Holy Heaven Palace.

This palace was a divine place discovered by an ancestor of the Di Clan. It was said that the gods created it and that it was the only place of its kind to ever exist in the Ethereal Region.

The Holy Heaven Palace was a dangerous place with all kinds of traps and trials that were well beyond any ordinary person's imagination. It would be impossible for anyone who didn't have enough strength to enter it.

The only members of the Di Clan who had any chance of entering it were at least the middle grade Spiritual Emperors or those who possessed power above that level. But they also needed to pass an extremely rigorous examination before entering. Since ancient times, only less than a hundred Spiritual Emperors from the Di Clan successfully passed through its gates. Some even died there and had no chance of leaving the palace walls.

On the other hand, many Spiritual Emperors of the Di Clan managed to greatly improve after emerging from the palace as well.

This meant that the Holy Heaven Palace was both a haven and a nightmare for any Spiritual Emperor who dared to enter it.

"Those who wish to enter the palace will need to show their true strength and they will not back down so easily. You are, after all, Spiritual Emperors. Don't let anyone else look down upon you." Colton encouraged everyone with these words. It was no wonder he rightfully deserved his position as commander in chief of the human race.

Many of the Spiritual Emperors regained their confidence in themselves. Getting access into the Holy Heaven Palace seemed more attainable now.

Getting rid of Enrique's Spiritual Domain still wouldn't be an easy task, though.

Among them, ten high grade Spiritual Emperors silently began working on overcoming Enrique's Spiritual Domain.

The first challenge, however, didn't appear to be difficult for the middle grade and high grade Spiritual Emperors. Their skill and strength enabled them to easily overcome and escape Enrique's power.

But the remaining low grade Spiritual Emperors found themselves in trouble.

Many of the onlookers believed that Michelle could pass this challenge. After all, her talent was second to none among all the low grade Spiritual Emperors. Her master taught her many great skills as well. That was why it was most likely that she would be the first low grade Spiritual Emperor to overcome the power of the Spiritual Domain.

Sure enough, Michelle began to summon enough spiritual power to slowly move her body and gradually resist the power that ensnared her and her fellow Spiritual Emperors.

The others continued to try their best.

Only Rocky didn't make a move. He simply observed the actions of the other Spiritual Emperors since it was a good opportunity to point out the few Godly Geniuses who were in disguise.

He soon discovered that the aura of one of the participants had changed. It wasn't the aura of a human warrior anymore. Although it wasn't strong by any means, he could still detect it.

Rocky continued to observe the rest after finding that one Godly Genius in disguise.

Meanwhile, many low grade Spiritual Emperors continued to try to overcome the Spiritual Domain they were trapped in.

Among them, the low grade Spiritual Emperors of the human race finally began to make progress with breaking free of the formidable power's shackles.

Realizing it was time for him to take action, Rocky summoned some of his spiritual power in preparation. He didn't have a hard time doing this since the domain could only bind the Imperial Soul and not the physical body. If one's Imperial Soul's power was strong enough, it wouldn't be trapped by Enrique's Spiritual Domain.

It would be impossible for Rocky to release his Imperial Soul's power instantly, which would definitely expose his true strength. He needed to pretend as though fighting the Spiritual Domain would be difficult for him.

He soon discovered that the Imperial Soul's power within his body began to release on its own even when he didn't do anything. Soon, he managed to mostly regain control of his body and break free from

the Spiritual Domain.

Moments later, more than 70% of the Spiritual Emperors managed to pass the first test while the remaining low grade Spiritual Emperors too weak to resist the power could only stand there helplessly and fell into despair.

Although Enrique's Spiritual Domain didn't cover a large area, it was extremely difficult for the Spiritual Emperors to overcome it. It took a large chunk of spiritual power and a good amount of will to take even a single step forward.
