Chapter 1786 Spiritual Power Disappearing

Chapter 1786 Spiritual Power Disappearing

Rocky knew what Guillermo was thinking, which was why he planned to stall so that Israel could arrive just in time.

"You don't want me as an enemy, do you?" Rocky asked him with a depressed stare.

"Cut the crap, will you?" Guillermo was clearly determined to kill Rocky. He ordered those monsters and, suddenly, they rushed towards Rocky and blocked his way.

Rocky immediately released three demonic phantoms to protect himself.

The monsters in the Myriad-tribulation Devil Den were not intelligent by any means, so very quickly they were besieged by the three phantoms. As Rocky was hidden behind the phantoms, Guillermo had a hard time recognizing him at once.

But Guillermo was no pushover. After all, he was also chosen by the gods, so he had his strength.

A moment later, he discovered where Rocky was and swiftly launched a violent attack. Guillermo swung a giant mace straight into Rocky's face. Rocky felt the earth beneath him shake violently and his vision blur.

He calculated the time and guessed that Israel would arrive at any moment, so he didn't dodge and chose to stand still and confront Guillermo head-on.

Guillermo sneered when he realized Rocky didn't dodge. In terms of strength, he would never lose to any Godly Genius. Even Israel, the strongest Godly Genius, may not be able to surpass his physical power.

Guillermo swung his mace again, its force so violent that it felt as though it could destroy the world. Even the demonic monsters couldn't withstand its power and swiftly fled in panic.

But Rocky stood still.

Boom!

As the mace hit Rocky, the ground beneath him shook violently. The place where he stood was now filled with spiritual power. Stones were scattered everywhere and left Rocky covered in dust.

Guillermo clearly felt the mace make contact with Rocky, so it would be nearly impossible for the latter to remain unharmed. Guillermo was so confident that he didn't bother to continue with his attack, because he was convinced that Rocky would quickly beg him to spare his life.

Just as the confident Guillermo was feeling smug about the whole thing, a few black needles suddenly emerged out of the dust clouds and obscurely pierced his flesh.

However, he never noticed that he was attacked. He just brushed off the feeling as being bitten by a few mosquitoes. He ignored it and focused all of his attention on Rocky instead.

A moment later, the dust slowly dissipated and settled. Rocky stood still as if he had never moved at all. He was clearly unfazed by the attack.

When Guillermo took a closer look, he discovered that Rocky was completely unharmed.

"How is this possible?" He found himself slightly surprised.

Before he had the chance to straighten the situation out, a figure suddenly appeared behind him. He immediately became alert and was about to turn around. However, he soon found himself unable to move.

He never expected those black needles shot by Rocky had completely penetrated through and sealed his body, leaving him completely immobile.

"He's all yours, Israel," Rocky declared with a deadpan tone when another figure appeared. He quickly moved to the other side before disappearing.

"Israel, you actually teamed up with Odin?!" It never occurred to Guillermo that the notoriously arrogant Israel would join forces with Rocky.

"Haha! We're not. This is just a deal we've made." Israel burst into laughter. It appeared he had made the right decision.

"Damn it! I'll kill you!" Guillermo shouted. He forcefully activated his spiritual power and finally was able to move again.

However, Israel was still the stronger contender. Although Guillermo did his best to break through the physical barrier, he was unable to summon enough spiritual power in such a short amount of time. So Israel launched a preemptive attack before Guillermo could fight back. He released a black mist that instantly wrapped itself around Guillermo.

"What's this? Soul-devouring sorcery? How dare you! You actually learned this kind of sorcery. It's an evil skill." Before Guillermo could react, his body began to dry up. His flesh and blood appeared dehydrated, as if all the energy and life had been sucked out of his body.

Before long, he had transformed into a mummy.

"The Beast Fief will soon belong to me," Israel sneered. Once the Beast Fief lost its Godly Genius, their drive would be destroyed. By then, it would be easy to conquer the Beast Fief.

Within the next moment, Israel managed to pulverize Guillermo's dehydrated corpse into dust with a single hit from his palm. After reducing it to ashes, Israel turned on his heel and left.

On the other side, Rocky knew that it was unlikely for Guillermo to escape, so he did not sympathize with Guillermo. After all, the battle between Godly Geniuses was fierce. It could be a matter of life or death. He knew that who laughs last laughs longest. So he had to win; otherwise, he would die too.

Moreover, he deserved it after launching the attack first. As another saying goes, "He who is unjust is doomed to destruction."

However, Rocky knew Israel wasn't a good person. Perhaps one day, Israel would turn back on Rocky once he had done using him. Rocky had decided at that moment that he wouldn't let Israel kill another Godly Genius if he could help it. After all, the more Godly Geniuses there remained, the higher possibility they could gang up on Israel and pin him down when the moment arose.

Rocky also knew that his plan couldn't adapt quickly enough to the change. He wasn't sure whether Israel would attack other Godly Geniuses or not. What he could do now was to at least protect Gloria and Valeria. Therefore, he needed to warn Gloria as soon as possible. He was worried that her true identity might have been exposed.

At the same time, several high-level Spiritual Emperors had already reached the seventieth floor, and some strong middle-level ones had also exceeded the sixty-fifth floor. The rest of them were basically around the sixtieth floor.

Rocky very quickly caught up with Gloria.

Alongside Gloria, there were about ten middle-level Spiritual Emperors and most of them came from the spiritual race.

They were surprised to see Rocky, a low-level Spiritual Emperor, reach them.

Each floor was a great test of the limits of their spiritual power and physical strength. Although they had taken a lot of pills to replenish their spiritual power, they found it difficult to stop their spiritual powers
