Chapter 1873 Not Chasing After Them

When the demoness saw that Rocky had obtained the Purgatorial Tripod, she quickly chased after him.

"Hand over the tripod to me! I know you have it!" the demoness exclaimed in a demanding tone. Her chest was throbbing hard and her eyes were burning. After all, she could not afford to fail her mission.

"Then, why don't you catch me? If you can, maybe I'll give it to you!" Rocky teased with a grin. Turning his back on the demoness, his figure disappeared in a flash.

"Your Royal Highness, the entire Demon Sealing Palace is about to collapse. We have to get out of here first," Rocky informed the princess at once.

Layla and Valeria could just roll their eyes at Rocky. They could not believe that he was still in the mood to crack a joke at such a critical moment.

"Well, as long as you hand the Purgatorial Tripod over to me, I can tell you the way to leave this place," the demoness suddenly proposed with a cunning smile. From her tone, she was assuming that she had already emerged victorious.

"I will have to decline that offer since you are actually not the only one who knows how to leave the Ghostly Demon Land without using the teleportation point. Therefore, even if you don't tell me, we will be just fine on our own." Rocky deliberately waited for the demoness to show her hand just so he could spite her.

They had already seen that determined look in Rocky's eyes before, and he had always come through. Hence, Layla and Valeria exchanged looks and could not help but agree. They knew that if Rocky said that it was for the best, then they just had to put their faith in him.

"Rubygon!" Immediately after, Rocky summoned Rubygon in their midst.

As soon as Rubygon appeared, he whispered a few words to it. After listening to Rocky's instructions, the beast let out a low roar in response.

"Go with Rubygon. It will take you to a safe spot," Rocky said to Layla and Valeria.
