Upon hearing Paige's words, Ethan laughed out loud, "Paige, are you losing your mind? One billion dollars? How did you get it? Ha, ha, ha, ha!" Upon hearing Paige's words, Ethan laughed out loud, "Paige, are you losing your mind? One billion dollars? How did you get it? Ha, ha, ha, ha!"

Paige held the phone with a blank face and said slowly after Ethan's laughter faded away.

"You're the stupid one, Ethan. You probably have forgotten who I am. I'm the young lady of the Anderson family. The significant difference between us is that you are a poor man who has lost the protection of his family while I am the one with enough money. Whatever the Wolf Group wants, the Andersons are going to pay for me!"

"In your dreams. Uncle Anderson had cast you away. How could he pay for it, for you?"

"Why not? The company was established by my mom and dad together, and my mom owned twenty percent more in shares than my dad. And I don't have to remind you that my mom's shares have been left to me. Or you are thinking about the shares having gone to Sophia when I was away from home? That makes you extremely naive."

Ethan was suddenly at a loss for words. All he had thought about was to destroy Paige, but it never occurred to him that Paige inherited her mother's legacy totally which made her rich enough.

Getting no response from Ethan, Paige laughed out, "A clown is always a clown, always does funny things. I made a huge mistake to be with you!"

The call was ended and Ethan was in a great fury, but he couldn't do anything about it.

When Paige and Ethan were talking, Joseph was sitting next to Paige quietly.

Paige hung up the phone and he slightly smiled, "So this is your plan?"

"Yeah, I never thought about this before. But now I've figured it out after the meal. I'm not afraid of compensation. I got plenty of money. It's just the insults, I can't take it, I have to find a way to break through."

Joseph laughed, "Relax! I'll help you find the breakthrough point."

"Really?"

"Sure, it's true. You don't believe in your man?"

"Yes! Of course I did!" Paige nodded.

"Then enjoy the meal, sit back and watch the show." Joseph said as he was taking seconds for Paige.

Paige ate it all and felt her belly, "I'm so stuffed and I can't even walk."

"I'll carry you in my arms!" Joseph replied with a smile.

"No. I don't want it. I'm too heavy. It's hard for you to carry me."

"We've done it a few times." The man winked at her.

Suddenly, Paige's mind was filled with images of them making love in such position and she blushed.

Seeing her blushing face, Joseph felt an itch in his heart. He leaned forward and kissed her a few times before the they paid their bill and left.

Back to the car outside, Joseph drove and Paige sat in the passenger seat. She kept holding her stomach because she had ate too much.

Joseph got out to get Paige some indigestion pills when they passed by a drugstore where he ran into Sophia.

Sophia was going to have dinner with Julie when she saw it was her period she immediately went to a nearby pharmacy for sanitary pads.

As she paid the bill, she saw the surprise on the clerk's face. She turned around and saw the strikingly handsome man, Joseph.

Joseph did not notice Sophia. He just said to the clerk, "I need drugs that aid digestion. The clerk stammered and recommended several brands. Joseph frowned and said, "Give me those with the best effect and no side effects, no bitter." Contentt bel0ngs to N0ve/lDrâ/ma.O(r)g!

She went to fetch those immediately. Sophia quickly stuffed the sanitary pads into the bag and fixed her eyes on Joseph.

Joseph was in a white shirt and black pants today. The black-and-white pair was originally good. He also had a good figure like model, and a face that attracted people's attention.

Sophia was stunned on this! She had always thought that Ethan was enough good-looking.

However, compared with this Paige's man, Ethan was nothing.

No wonder a simple girl like Paige couldn't wait for that first notch on her bedpost with this play boy. Sophia's mouth was watering as she looked at him.

She actually smiled and played the coquette at Joseph. But Joseph felt disgusted at it. He almost threw up!

Sophia had no idea about what Joseph was thinking. She thought she could hook up with this man as how she did to Ethan.

Now that Paige would be spitting at in the streets soon and was going to be arrested and sent to jail, she might as well take this opportunity to hook up with this gigolo now.

With the thought, Sophia walked towards Joseph. "Paige is done, do you know that?"

"Hm?" Joseph raised his eyebrows.

"As a designer who had copied other's work, she is notorious for ever. Soon the companies, Wolf Group included, will claim money from her. It is five hundred million dollars. Paige can't afford it, so she's going to be sent in prison. Where do you end, handsome man?"

Joseph placed his hand into his pocket and looked at Sophia with a mocking smile.

He didn’t say anything, but Sophia inexplicably felt ashamed and angry.

"If she ends in prison, I bet you'll need another woman. I am not worse than Paige. If you want, you can have a chance."

Sophia took out a business card to Joseph.

"You don't have to answer it now. Think about it. I can give you what Paige has. This is my number. Call me!"
