The following day! Jhonia waited until Nearce left for work before she got up from the bed! When she got up from bed, Mrs. Pinnock was standing out on the other side of the room. Jhonia, stared her up and down with a smirk as she then walked past her and heading into the closet.

“Jhonia”

“Don’t! Don’t you dare… And this goes for everyone including your perfect son, who wants a perfect wife, don’t ever say my name. I am worried it might be too much for upper-going rich people like you and your son.” Jhonia said, cutting her off was too common for her and her son, but it also goes for everyone else inside the house, she speaks with anger in her tone.

“Good. Now, henceforth I don’t want your son inside this room and to keep him away from me, I will think of a way to tolerate him in public.” Jhonia said, turning away from her and walking back towards the wardrobe. “Ah!!!!!!” Jhonia screamed and everyone rushed into her room and into the closet! Jhonia angrily looked at all of them.

“Did I not make myself clear? When I said that, I didn’t want anyone inside here, and touching my stuff, let alone adding someone else’s clothes, removed them all. Right now.”

Jhonia asked in anger, she then said reminding them, she then yelled at them to remove Nearce clothes and all the maids began to do as they were told!

“Leave them and get out!” Nearce said, demandingly as he walked into the closet and over to Jhonia.

“I said, I was sorry.” Nearce said, reaching out to hold Jhonia but she stepped back from him.

“Don’t touch me! Remove Them!!!” Jhonia shouted at the maids. She was dead serious as Nearce stood staring at her.

“Leave them and leave us, that’s an order. You can decide whether or not you want to be fired.” Nearce said, making himself clear on his order and them being fired. He walked over to Jhonia. She stepped back and he grabbed her waist and pulled her to him. Jhonia tries to push him back but she isn’t successful!

“I was upset, I admit that. I said things I wasn’t supposed to and I apologize for it but you’re the one who made me believe that the person on the phone was my competitor, I got upset about it and accused you again, I’m sorry. I thought you were really… I was jealous, okay? Also, at the hotel? It was my mistake to say what I said. I was upset. I’m apologizing to you, can you at least look at me?” Nearce explains himself but Jhonia was not touched by it, she finally looked up at him! As he requested!?!

“Don’t you know that your heart races when you lie?” Jhonia looked him right in the eyes and asked? He blinked in surprise before he narrowed his eyebrows with confusion, he then smiled at her.

“My heart is racing because I’m holding you close to me, you are so busy being mad at me, you haven’t noticed how being so close to you has triggered my sense.” Nearce said, and Jhonia widened her eyes at him and then pushed him back!

“Pervert! Do you think saying sorry will always make up for you honestly? When a person is drunk or angry everything they honestly wanted to say is said because it is due to anger, it was due to liquor. Five years all this will be over. So don’t worry too much, Mr. Pinnock.” Jhonia called him and asked him, she then explained to him that he was in truth because an angry and drunk person is the honestyest, walking away from him! He stopped her and lifted her into his arms.

“What are you doing? Put me down, right now.” Jhonia asks? Saying to him trying to get him to put her down but he held her carefully and walked her all the bed putting her to sit.

“I never asked? Any of you came and pulled me into this contract marriage but for the sake of my parents, I agreed. Now tell me, Mr. Pinnock, just how many times will you apologize for reminding me that I’m poor and have no parents, how many? Ah, Mrs. Pinnock, it’s good that you stayed back! I know your son can find a more suitable wife, and for himself. I would like it if we can end the contract here and now. I will work and pay you back every dollar spent.” Jhonia asked and said, staring into the eyes of her contract husband as he was kneeling down to her while she sat on the bed. “What is wrong with you?” Nearce asked? Standing up while looking at Jhonia.

“You are what’s wrong with her. Dear, the contract said five years. A few years from now, and you still wish to end it, I will. But for now, attend the mask party and act”

“I knew it. Mr. Pinnock is this why you’re organizing such an apology? I mean, I almost fell for it… Until… your heart… beat, give you away!” Jhonia said, cutting off Mrs. Pinnock, then asked. She stared at him and said, she stared right into his eyes and stared at him before her smile turned into laughter. Later that night! Jhonia went early with Mrs. Pinnock to the party, after she learned there would be cameras. Nearce went hours after.

“I have seen her before… Orean, isn’t that girl the one who was at the hotel when I first visited Mr. Pinnock?” Jhonia said, after a moment she called for Orean, and asked? With surety as she pointed out the female to Orean.

“Yes, she is. Also, I was assigned to be your bodyguard for the night”

“Orean, do you remember telling me that I deserve better?” Jhonia cuts him off and asks? Orean goes silent as he realizes that Jhonia is now paying attention.

“Yes, I remember.” He responded to her.

“Good! Orean, I think he’s still sleeping with that girl and you are going to help me prove it. Do you oppose me, Orean?” Jhonia stated and said to him, then asked? As she sipped her red wine. She smiles as she watches the female body language each time Nearce looks in her direction.

“No. Whatever you need”

“Your silence was more than enough answer. Also, when they disappear follow them and capture whatever evidence you can in case I fail to catch him myself.”

Jhonia cuts him off once more and says to him, and Orean nods with a smile. Jhonia returns the smiles. Mrs. Pinnock was having conversations with her friends. Nearce was secretly sending signals to his sleep with, having no idea Jhonia is on to him. An hour later, Nearce and the female disappeared and so did Orean.

“Through the side door across the hall to your left. He is inside the third door with her.”

Jhonia receives a massage from Orean and takes off immediately, she was aware of him already having evidence but she wants to witness it herself. She rushes to the door and walks for some time until she passes the first door going to the second…

As they landed! Jhonia was on top…! Jhonia opens her eyes to realize that her lips are pressed against another, she quickly gets up and apologizes by then noticed the female was already out and walking up towards them, as she was not wearing a mask Jhonia could recognize her well!

“I’m sorry, I didn’t see you coming.” Jhonia apologized and said to the man, she then turned around and left. Kyhe removed his mask and wiped his lip, on his fingertips was dark yet reddish coloured lipstick.

“My first kiss to a stranger, I didn’t even get her name or see her face. But at least I know what she’s wearing.” Kyhe said, speaking to himself. He then rushed into the ballroom and meet up with his friend.

“Kuwain, help me find a woman. She’s wearing a black dress with a red and white design, black mask with red sparkling things on it, black mixed with red lipstick.” Kyhe said to his friend and explained what the woman he’s looking for is wearing. Mrs. Pinnock overheard him talking about Jhonia because she was the only masked woman of that specific design.

“Excuse me, but why do you seek the presence of the masked woman?” Mrs. Pinnock asked? Kyhe blushes with a huge smile on his face, while Jhonia was leaving with Orean.

“She was in such a hurry to get to the third door, just now but she bumped into me and… We kissed by accident, as we fell. It’s weird, why was she in such a rush, and to that door?”

Kyhe explained what had happened, he took a moment to speak about their kiss but then he asked? In wonder, as there were only three doors in the hallway, he then looked back at his friend.

“Your first kiss was taken by a masked woman, lucky bastard.” Kuwain said, turning away. Mrs. Pinnock began to wonder why Jhonia was in a rush and to that third door, the young man spoke of.

“Sorry, but you just missed her. She just left!” Mrs. Pinnock said and she left them.
