Chapter 2158 A Chat About Their Relationship

In Ian's eyes, she was still a young lady. Surprised by her sudden visit, he asked, "What's up? Is

something the matter?"

Valerie went into the room without thinking that much. "Nah, just thought we should chat. After that little

talk we had, I went home and talked to my boyfriend, and our relationship's gotten better since then."

Ian smiled and sat down, offering the couch to Valerie. "It's normal in relationships. You guys care

about each other, so you get bothered by a lot more stuff, which necessitates more communication, as

misunderstandings become a lot more frequent without that." Misunderstandings only happened when

everyone was overthinking.

Valerie nodded. "Honestly, I've been in this industry for a long time, but I've never gotten into any

relationship scandals. First, it was because I had no idea how things worked, and then I'd seen people

treating the relationship matter so flippantly, leading me to lose interest in love. And now that I have

gotten into my very first relationship, I have no idea what to do or how to handle it."

Ian joked, "You haven't learned anything after seeing so many relationships, huh?"

Valerie smiled. "Yeah. I have no experience in relationships at all. I tried to talk things out, but I had no

idea how to speak up. Honestly, that was stupid of me. Everyone says you can learn more about

relationships just by starting one, but that doesn't work with me." She then asked, "So, how about you

and your girlfriend? You guys seem to get along."

Ian and Cindy did get along well. Ever since they went steady, they never had any problems. First, they

had no misunderstandings; second, Cindy was a tender woman. Sometimes too gentle. Ian thought

that even if she were to date someone else, Cindy's life would get better with time anyway, just

because she was gentle.

Ian grunted. "She's a very accepting lady. You know how much mess I can get myself into. It does get

to her, but she never throws a tantrum. Instead, she tries to come up with ways to help me. Sometimes,

I think I'm not good at dating, either. I'm just lucky enough to run into her, and she taught me a lot."

Just from the way he spoke of Cindy, Valerie could see that he really liked her. There was a big gap

between him and Cindy, and the public didn't think their relationship could work out, but even now, they

were still going strong. It motivated Valerie. She and her boyfriend also had some gap between them,

but not as wide as the one between Ian and Cindy, and the problems they met were way more minor. If

Ian and Cindy could conquer those problems and stay strong, she thought she could do it, too. Content © NôvelDrama.Org.

Valerie chatted with Ian for a while, until some crew members came and prepared for the shoot. She

composed herself and got ready to work. For the last two days, she had been dragging work down

because she was in the wrong mood, and it was unacceptable for her. She was a professional, and the

fact work was delayed because of her filled her with guilt. Now, she wanted to blast through her

progress. The shooting wasn't scheduled for this long. First, Ian took a leave of absence, and then she

dragged everything down, so they were behind schedule. Now that Ian had caught up with the

schedule, she refused to trouble anyone further, so she wanted to work harder.
