"Uh… no," Kingsley replied as usual. "I just heard that there's a meeting going on here and thought that I'd join in the fun."

Victoria burst into laughter. "Boss Nicholson, it looks like you've gone all out for this grand spectacle!"

Then, she lowered her voice and asked, "Are you here for Advisor Shane? I heard that he didn't receive an invitation today. Are you here to find out information for him?"

Kingsley was surprised that she had come up with such a good excuse for him. He quickly nodded and replied, "Yeah, I'm here to check the situation for Advisor Shane."
