Chapter 848 Unexpected Things Came One After Another

Terrell had no idea who sent Christopher, nor did he know what happened between them and Kingsley.

However, he was astute enough to realize that the men were undoubtedly connected to the medical accident. Otherwise, Kingsley wouldn't have instructed him to bring the bodies to the outpatient hall.

Before he left, Terrell helped the frightened Samuel to his feet and grinned, asking, "Hey, we are heading to the outpatient hall now. Do you want to join us?"

"Y-You can't take the bodies away..." Even though Samuel was trembling in fear, he hadn't forgotten his duty as a doctor.

Terrell chuckled. "You can come with us if you're worried."

After that, he led the way to the outpatient hall with Samuel in tow.

"They're just making futile resistance." Felix glanced at his watch. "My security team should've gotten the bodies out of here. After that, we just need to send the homeless man to another city and cremate the other body. Nobody will ever find this out."

Matt furrowed his brows. "I hope so..."

As soon as he finished the words, the sound of wheels spinning approached the door. The next moment, Terrell and his men pushed two beds into the hall.

Matt's face immediately turned pale at the sight.

"What's happening?" He pointed at the door and exclaimed, "Is that guy your security team leader, Mr. Jacob? Why did he bring the bodies here?"

Felix was confused as well. "Wait, what? What on earth is happening?"

Both of them felt their blood run cold in their veins.

Unexpected events came one after another, catching them off guard and putting them in a vulnerable position.

The wheels rotated as the men pushed the two beds covered in white sheets further into the hall. The onlookers immediately made room for the men to stay away from the bodies as much as possible as if they were something ominous.

"Boss Nicholson." Terrell approached Kingsley. "These are the bodies that the men intended to take away."

Kingsley took a step toward the beds and lifted the sheets off the bodies.

"You surely pique my curiosity." A slight smile appeared at the corner of his lips as he turned to Alden. "Be honest. What do you want to do with the bodies? What are you up to?"

Alden was shocked to see the two bodies. After all, Felix only instructed him to pose as the family of the deceased and await the arrival of the police. He knew nothing more.

"I-I don't know..." He spoke through gritted teeth, "I really have no idea what happened! I'm only aware that there's a dead guy, and I don't know anything about the other body!"
