The Triplets' Fighter Luna

Chapter 142

CHAPTER 040 NOVA POV

Attending to these Royal duties around the territory were important but they were becoming really tedious. And now Emma has started spending time with this new guy in town.

I knew that he was coming to stay with Hazel and her family, but I didn't know much about

him.

He seemed to really take a liking to Emma at her birthday party and I didn't want to act really overprotective like her fathers did. But she was my little girl. I lost my first baby and had major complications when I gave birth to Emma which is why she doesn't have any siblings.

Which means Emma is all I am ever going to have and I love the relationship that we have. I

hate that she's growing up and starting to notice boys.

I know that we made a deal that she could start dating when she was 16, but I didn't expect it to happen right on her 16th birthday party. That took us all by surprise.

Of course I had to do my due diligence when it came to Lucas and I had him completely

vetted.

But when I found out the truth about him, I was more than surprised.

He's Levi's brother who stayed with their parents and he's 22. He's not in high school with her

which is what I was led to believe.

So once I found out about that, I waited until Emma went to school and then I went to the forestry service where Lucas was working and I approached him without talking to the boss or anything like that.

I asked to speak with Lucas and he obviously didn't say no to me.

I talked with him for just a few minutes when I got that sudden feeling that hit me.

"Oh my goddess." I said.

"Your majesty?" He asked.

"You're her mate." I said.

He looked around to make sure that no one else heard me say that.

"I am. But I don't want her to know yet. How could you tell?" He asked.

"Because I'm the Queen." I said.

"Of course. Sorry. You have powers that we can only dream of." He said.

"You listen to me Lucas, if you hurt her, you'll have to deal with me. And I am a hell of a lot scarier than her three fathers. Do you understand me?" "Yes, ma'am." He said.

When I got back to the house I could tell that something was going on with the triplets as they were moving throughout the castle.

They were going in and out of the office and up and down the stairs.

So I followed Koda upstairs and when I saw him go into our bedroom, I went in after him and

closed the door.

I was surprised to see open suitcases on the bed.

"What the hell is going on?" I asked.

"It's time."

"How the hell do you know that?"

"Because Scarlett called while you were out. We have to go."

"We don't know that she's going to get her powers."

"She needs to learn this stuff on her own. You know the arrangement that we made. Scarlett can feel it. It's happening and it's happening soon. We all wish that we could stay here for this, but she needs to navigate it on her own." Koda explained.

"I never understood that. I navigated it on my own because my parents didn't know s**t about me. But now, I can be here to help her." I said.

"You can't. You know the rules."

"Yeah. Rules. There are so many f*****g rules that I don't agree with." I snapped, sitting on the

bed.

"Baby. We're only going to be at the California pack. We can come back if you think things are getting too hard for her. But otherwise, she needs to learn the same way you did. We both know that it's the only way to make sure that she's ready to take over when she has to."

"It doesn't mean I have to like it. She's only 16. I was hoping to put it off for a couple of years. Why can't we wait until she's 18?"

Added to the library

"Because we can't and you know that. Her powers are going to start coming through. I know that you can feel it too."

"Yeah. I know." I said.

"We have to leave it up to the witches. And you trust them." He said.

I walked into the wardrobe and I opened a drawer right at the back of the room and I took my dragonite necklace off and I placed it in the drawer. I knew that it would call to Emma when

she was ready to accept it. The way it was meant to happen.

When we finally got everything packed and sorted out we left the house and I was pissed that we couldn't even say goodbye to her. But the guys thought that this would be easier. Otherwise I probably would leave at all. When we got to California we went straight to the packhouse to get settled in and I wasn't really talking to anyone.

I was watching my phone that was hooked up to the camera's around our territory in Alaska to

see what was going on.

The guys got sick of me staring at my phone so Tyler took it off of me and forced me to go out and see the pack and then we were going to go and have some fun. Whatever that meant.

I really didn't know what to expect when the guys said that they wanted to have some fun.

We'd been at the California pack for about a week when we found out about the bet that LucasContent rights belong to NôvelDrama.Org.

and that asshole Levi had made which Emma found out about.

The guys literally had to force me to stay where I was. I was trying to get the hell out of town and get back to my daughter, but they held me back to stop me from going. They needed to see how she was going to handle it. But Lucas was her mate and I was the only one who knew that. How the hell could he do something like that to her? That was beyond contempt and I was going to kill him.

It was a good thing that I stayed though. Because watching Emma on the camera's after that and monitoring everything that she was doing, it was worth it.

I hated that she had her heart broken, but after she spent a day in bed while her heart was broken, she got up and dusted herself off and she got straight to work.

She dove into royal duties and went back to school and did everything that I never thought she

could do.

"Everything's fine." Dean assured me.

"I know that. She's just by herself there."

"She's got Lexie and Jacob and Chloe. They are there for her if she needs it." Koda said.

"And you need to stop watching her every move. Now, come on. We're going to go and check out that camp where they are training warriors for the royal family." Tyler said, taking my phone off of me again.

So we went to the camp and the head trainer met us at the office and he showed us around the whole camp and explained how they trained the warriors to become royal protectors.

I was really impressed by everything that they were doing. And just as we were about to move

on to another location of the camp, I stopped when I saw this one warrior working out.

He was running the obstacle course and when I saw him, I could help but stop and watch him. "What are you doing?" Koda asked.

"I'll be right back." I said.

I walked over to the warriors and as soon as that man saw me approaching, he stood straight

and barred his neck to me.

"What's your name?" I asked.

"Noah, ma'am." He said.

"How long have you been here?" I asked.

"I've been here for two years. Training every day."

"Wow. That's impressive. How is he going with his training?" I asked the guy that was running

the obstacle course.

"We were recently talking about making him one of the supervisors because there's not much more we can teach him. And he's one of the best warriors we have here." The trainer said.

"I have a better assignment for you." I said. And he looked at me suspiciously. "You are going to go to Alaska and provide protection to our daughter. She's there alone at the moment while we're here. She needs a personal guard and that's what you're going to be for her." I said.

"Yes, ma'am. I'll be ready to ship out in an hour." He said. So I nodded my head and he looked at me really excitedly and he headed for his barracks.

"What are you doing?" Tyler asked as I watched Noah leaving the training field.

"He's the other one." I said.

"What are you talking about?" Dean asked.

"Trust me. He's the other one." I said.

"Her other mate?" Koda asked, quietly. And I turned to look at him with a smile. D

"And I don't think he's immature enough to bet on her and break her heart." I said.

The guys just looked at each other, knowing that they didn't have a say in this. But they weren't upset that I was sending him back to protect Emma. She needed it and I knew that they would get close. Even if she didn't feel the mate bond yet. She would be close enough to him by the time she did feel it that she wouldn't reject him. And he was definitely strong enough to protect her.

Not that she needed it.

"Playing matchmaker?" Dean asked.

"No. I'm just pointing him in the right direction." I said.

I was actually glad that I sent Noah there when I did.

It wasn't long after he got there that I got a message from Lexie saying that they were moving back to their house. But she didn't give me a reason.

When I tried to call she wouldn't answer. And that wasn't like her.

She was my best friend and she was avoiding me. So I called someone who would be able to

find out for me. I needed to know why they were leaving Emma completely alone at the castle and I couldn't find anything out on the camera's except that Emma was upset again after leaving their house.

I showed the guys and they could see the anger in my eyes.

"Don't do it." Koda said.

Dean lunged for me but before he could stop me, I disappeared from right in front of them,

leaving them with a cloud of smoke.
