Agatha left home a few months ago and has never returned. I admit that I miss her but I don’t want to chase after her. Just like I told her where she was happy I will support her.

I leaned back in the chair because of the amount of papers in front of me, the sheer volume it needed to be finished now.

“Looks like you’re in trouble.” I heard Gian’s voice as he entered my office.

“You can see what’s on my table, can’t you?” I sighed and the fool laughed.

“I’ve given her a few chances but she’s not really changing.” I said

“Well. She doesn’t deserve someone like you. There are so many women chasing you out there. ”

My eyes were fixed on the photo on my table, they are my inspiration every day, my family. I really miss my mom, dad and Luke who until now I still haven’t seen.

“You remember them again.” Gian said, he seemed to notice where I was looking.

“Yeah, when mom died it gave me so much pain and now Dad is gone also. And until now I still can’t find Luke.” I said honestly.

“You are really a good person Ethan. Even though Luke didn’t treat you well and also he caused your Dad’s death, you are still looking for him. ”

I laughed heartily. “He wouldn’t be Luke Hernandez if we got along and one more thing like Dad said before he died I shouldn’t plant hatred on Luke because no matter what happens we will still be brothers.” I promise.

“At least you have a point,” he agrees.

I quickly finished signing the papers on my desk so that we could leave, because Gian invited us to just go to the bar so that we could relax somehow.

Exactly eight o’clock when we get to the bar because we ate dinner first before going straight here. There are only four of us now, Gian, his cousin Kate with her friend Maxine.

Gian and his cousin were talking happily while I was quietly drinking.

“Why are you so quiet?” Maxine suddenly asked me.

I looked at her. “I’m just here to drink.” I answered.

“So, maybe you have a problem?”

“How did you say so?” I ask.

“Apart from the fact that you are quiet, I also notice the depth of what you are thinking. Is it about your girlfriend? Did you fight? Gian said you love someone. ”

I drank some wine before I answered her. “Well. part of it. I don’t think about it too much either because it’s not a loss to me. ”

“If you don’t mind what happened? It’s okay if you don’t want to say. ”

“Actually she’s not my girlfriend, right now things are complicated for the two of us.” I said.

She nodded. “I don’t know that Ethan Hernandez also has a problem with women, as far as I know, a lot of women like you.”

“Maybe it’s really different when you like someone or you already love someone because you can’t find anyone else.” I said laughing.

Her forehead furrowed. “Are you not pursuing her? It looks like you’ve known each other for so long. ”

“It’s too complicated and we can’t get along with each other.” I promise.

“If you are for each other, you will be together at the right time. Destiny will find a way, they say the more you hate the more you love. ” she laughed.

“You? Do you already have a boyfriend?” I asked her.

“No, but I like something.” she replied and I saw that she looked at Gian. Looks like I already know who she like.

Maxine and I were just talking happily, it’s only now that I’ve been with her for a long time, don’t get me wrong. We’ve known each other for a long time because Gian’s cousin just got together again.

Later I saw her look at her phone. “It’s too late, I need to go home. Where are those two and suddenly disappeared.” She asked.

“I can drive you home if you want. I’ll just call Gian to inform him. ” I said and she nodded. She also sent a message to her friend before we left the bar

“Where do you live now?” I asked her.

“Same condo.”

I nodded and drove to her condo, I already knew where that building was. Our trip didn’t take long either because her condo was not far from the bar where we were.

When we arrived at the place I helped her get out of the car and we entered the building to take her to her unit, when we got there she thanked me.

We talked for a while when I felt hungry so I said goodbye to her first to buy food downstairs because there is a mini mart there.

I quickly bought food and immediately went back inside the building when I noticed a figure. What is she doing here?

I just followed her where she was going, I didn’t know that she also lived here where Gian also had a unit and it looked like they were both on the same floor.

I just followed her as she walked and soon after she stopped and it looked like it was her unit, I accelerated my walk so I could catch up with her . When she opened the door of her unit I quickly pulled her inside to her surprise.
