That’s why it was like he was hypnotized and came once Sophia fell asleep.

He didn’t expect to see her coldness.

His hands grabbed and her clothes tore. Mia quickly covered herself and moved away from him and

yelled, “William, go away! Get away from me!”

“Why do you want me to go away?” He walked forward a big step and shortened their distance. He only

needed to reach out and he could pull her in. He pursed his lips in displeasure, her actions were

upsetting him, “If what I said upset you, then I’m sorry.”

“No need!” She didn’t need a man to insult her and then fake an apology. She also didn’t want to live a

life of having an affair with a married man. Furthermore, they were having an affair under the same roof

“I can… give birth on my own and care for him on my own. I will not bother you.” She said politely. His

temper was too great and she was afraid that she will receive those ruthless treatments.

But her words offended him and his fist twisted on the wall. If it wasn’t his intense endurance, it would

What was this woman saying? She wants to give birth to his child and bring up the child on her own?

How can he allow his flesh and blood to be wandering without him?

“Very well.” He said unexpectedly and interrupted whatever Mia wanted to say. Mia struggled and

suddenly William carried her up.

She wanted to resist and William had already placed her on the bed. He pressed her legs down as he

used his necktie to tie her wrists to the headboard.

William hugged her. He looked at her delicate and smooth body and was mesmerized. This perfect

body absolutely hypnotized him like he was addicted to it. He will crave for it if he didn’t touch it.

He can’t give her love but he can give her plenty of money and he believed that he can keep her by his

side but not here.

One and a half million! Mia put her phone down and looked at the bank card in her hand with mixed

feelings. William was a man of his words. Each time they had sex he would give her money and this

was the accumulated amount.

This was what she needed as well. Once the baby was born, the expenses were huge. She would use

Outside, Sophia was carried into the car by William and the servants lined up to see them off in a grand

Mia looked back as someone knocked on her door. Rebecca was at the door with two servants.

“Pack up for her.” She ordered and maintained her silence thereafter. Mia was confused. The two

servants were able to pack up her scarce belongings.

Mia went into the car with Rebecca and in half an hour, they reached a large building.

“The Elements Group?” She asked. Rebecca already walked into a private walkway. They went directly

to the top floor and Rebecca stopped.

She pointed to the bedroom in the director’s office, “You’ll stay here for this period and don’t go

anywhere. Someone will send you your daily meals.”

Mia opened the door and saw the familiar while black and blue decoration. She took a few steps back

in shock. This was the room she lost her virginity and it was like a nightmare.

She wanted to back out but the door was already shut. She didn’t want to face the bed because it will

remind her of what happened that night.

The night the tragedy started was hard to face. Mia quickly walked away but into the room and she

didn’t expect there to be a small kitchen in the room. It was clean and neat as if someone cleans it

regularly.

A large refrigerator stood at a corner and she opened it. The refrigerator was stocked full of all sorts of

food.

She had nothing to do anyway, why not make something to eat. She was used to housework and Mia

put on an apron and started to prepare.

The door opened silently and William’s slim body appeared. His cold handsome face and captivating

eyes looked around and briefly wondered, hasn’t she arrived?

After sending Sophia to the hospital he was notified by Rebecca that Mia had been sent there. It was

noon when he arrived at the office and he was planning to settle some pressing matters but he couldn’t

settle himself down. His gaze repeated fell on the bedroom door and kept wondering what Mia was

doing within.

With childish brashness, he tossed aside the documents and walked to the room and opened the door.

His heart sunk when he saw an empty room. But then almost immediately he heard the water running

and humming. He was immediately attracted inwards and walked towards the kitchen. Mia’s delicate

and slender body came into view and her back was towards him. Her delicate fingers were in the

washbasin and washing some vegetables.

She concentrated, leaned forward, and washed each leaf several times. Her ponytail draped over her

shoulder and her breasts gently shook. The light from a window in front of her lit up her perfect and

clean body.

His initial feelings turned into warmth and concern. He had servants to clean up and Sophia’s health

had always been frail. He has never experienced such a simple and normal life.

He felt like he was a husband looking at the wife doing housework. It was satisfying and complete.

From Mia’s mouth came the melodious humming and it was picture perfect. Bringing a homely and

Mia didn’t expect to see William when she turned around and the plate of vegetables fell to the ground.

calmly, “Since you want to cook, then prepare a portion for me.” He turned and walked out.

Mia was stunned for several seconds until William left before she came to her senses. When she

recollected what he said, she felt that he wasn’t himself today. Especially the flash of tenderness and

warmth which can only be seen with Sophia. Although it was just an instance, she managed to see it.

She cautiously walked out and saw William laying on the sofa with his eyes closed and with his long

legs propped onto the coffee table. He looked very tired.

Without his cold arrogance look, he appeared totally approachable. That fair face with the dagger-like

eyebrow, the long eyelashes not only complemented his masculinity, but it also accentuated his

elegance. His nose was firm and sharp. His lips were thin and enticing. He was entirely like a prince out

of the fairy tales. She stood dazed, looking at him.

“Anything?” His eyes suddenly opened and the black and watery eyes fell onto her body. Mia’s chest

tightened and blushed in red. She lowered her head and wrung her hands and asked, “I just wanted to

ask you what would you like to eat.”

She felt awkward and looked at William shyly like he was teasing her. Her body warmed up and her

desires started to radiate throughout her. He also flushed in red and looked at her lustfully, scaring Mia,

“Are… are you alright?”

“Anything will do, get out!” His beasty shout scared her to run into the kitchen.

Mia prepared a few simple dishes. Carrot with slices of meat, fried spinach, beef stew, and tomato

soup. She carefully served the dishes and looked for two sets of cutleries.

The bathroom door opened and William came out with his hair damp and topless. He faced her while

he put on his shirt slowly.

Mia didn’t dare to look at him and fixated on the dishes on the table. Though she had seen him naked

numerous times, she still didn’t dare to look at his manly body.

William tidied himself and walked to the table. Only then did Mia nervously raised her head and said

uneasily, “I don’t know what you like to eat, so I prepared some simple dishes, I hope that you…”

He reached out with his chopsticks and picked up a piece of beef. Mia held her chopsticks but didn’t

move and was waiting anxiously to see his reaction.

His eyebrow twitched and Mia almost dropped the chopsticks and stood up, “Does it taste… awful?”
