Unexpectedly Married to a Billionaire (Lorraine and Logan)

Chapter 46

Chapter 46

Logan confidently said, “I can win my wife’s heart in less than three

months.”

William couldn’t resist deflating his boss‘ confidence. He said, “From my research, your wife is a career–oriented woman, focused solely on her business and making money. She doesn’t place much importance on emotions. Do you really think you can win her heart in three

months?

“Six months might be more realistic

Logan was usually cold and detached, but once he fell for someone, he would become a doting husband.

“Stop undermining my confidence. Enough chatter. Let’s get to business.”

William chuckled and shifted to discussing work matters.

They were so engrossed in their conversation that it wasn’t until they heard the door open that Logan quickly turned on the laptop. “Will, my wife’s back. I have to go. If you need anything, text me. Avoid calling if possible.”

Without waiting for William’s reply, Logan hung up hastily and set Lorraine’s drafted agreement in front of him, preparing to type and print it.

Lorraine didn’t come into the room immediately. She first threw her clothes into the washing machine for a quick wash before entering

When she entered and saw Logan struggling to type, she asked, ” Logan, you haven’t printed the agreement yet?”

Logan was embarrassed and replied, “I’m really slow at typing. I

wasn’t really studious back in school, so…”

Lorraine understood. After all, his job didn’t require much computer

use.

“Let me do it.”

“No, it’s fine. I’ll type it slowly. You go take a shower. By the way, where are the clothes you bought?”

Lorraine pulled him up from his seat and sat down in his place. She quickly typed out the agreement while answering Logan’s question, “I put them in the washing machine for a quick wash. I’ll hang them up. soon, and they’ll be ready to wear tomorrow. I’ll have to wear your clothes tonight.”

After printing the agreement, Lorraine reviewed it to ensure there were no errors and then signed her name under the wife’s section.

“Do you have any ink pads?”

Logan shook his head. He hadn’t thought of preparing such things, not expecting to sign an agreement.

“Let’s buy an ink pad tomorrow and stamp our fingerprints. You sign now. I’ll go take a shower,” Lorraine said as she walked to the

bathroom.

Once she closed the door, Logan picked up the pen and signed his name under the husband’s section.

Suddenly, a phone rang in the bathroom. With his sharp hearing, Logan overheard Lorraine answering and then saying, “Hello? Mr. Cornell?”

It was William!

Logan silently cursed William multiple times. He had told him to contact Lorraine about buying cherries, and of all times, he called when she was in the shower.

William had no way of knowing Lorraine was showering. He had just finished discussing work with Logan and found the time to call

Lorraine about the cherry purchase. After all, Easter was approaching and preparations needed to be made.

Logan couldn’t hear the conversation between Lorraine and William, which made him restless with curiosity.
