Unwanted Wife – English

Three days passed quickly, Jewel and Monique are now at the airport because this is the day Cain will leave and going back to the Philippines. At first, the young man didn’t want the two to take him in the airport but Jewel insisted so in the end he didn’t do anything but to agree.

“So, this is it! I’ll leave you two for awhile, I need to go back to work. Don’t miss me too much. Hahahaha” He said while facing the two woman.

Monique only has a palm on her face because of the young man’s windiness. “Sometimes, please reduce the thickness of your face Cain.” She said

“If I know you’ll miss me Nique.” He said to make the girl pissed even more.

The girl just stared at him and turned to Jewel. “Say goodbye to that jerk already so that he can leave already.”

Cain just laughed because of the girl’s attitude, he walked closer to his friend. “Be safe always Jew, take care of the baby. Always update me time to time.”

“Don’t worry about me and the baby Cain. We’ll both be careful, focus on the things you need to fix in the Philippines.”

The three of them talked for a few more minutes before the young man’s flight was called. He doesn’t want to leave his friend but he has to go home because there is a company waiting for him and he still needs to talk to his two best friends.

He said goodbye to the two girls and immediately walked away.

Jewel POV

When Cain left, we also left and decided to go to the mall first.

Being with Monique is so much fun, you won’t feel boring. We went to a few boutique shops, she wanted to buy things and clothes for my baby at first I didn’t want to agree because Cain bought a lot but she insisted so I just let her.

It also took us almost two hours when we finished buying thing. And since it was already twelve o’clock at noon we decided to eat at a seafood restaurant, I suggested it to Monique to eat here because I suddenly felt cravings for seafoods, fortunately she also loves food like this.

We also didn’t wait long because the food we ordered arrived for about ten minutes only.

While we were eating I noticed Monique pausing while looking at a dish served on the table.

“What’s wrong Monique?” I asked

She immediately shook ber head. “I just remember my boyfriend he loves seafoods too, especially shrimp.”

“They’re the same as my bestfriend, he also likes this. We often eat at seafood restaurants, sometimes with Calliyah who is also our friend.”

“Where is he now? Does he know about your condition?” Monique asked while eating

I shook my head suddenly in response. “He’s gone, he died three years ago, and that’s because of me. He saved me during those times.”

I noticed Monique’s hand tremble and quickly close her eyes. “Hey, are you okay?

She opened her eyes and sighed. “Ah yes yes, Sorry about it.” She replied while smiling, “Don’t mind me, I’m just thinking about something.” She added

I nodded. “About your boyfriend, you mentioned to me last time that he died. What’s the reason? But if you don’t want to talk about it, it’s okay.” I said

“He saved someone, and because of that he died. He gave his life just to save that person.” She spoke bitterly

I felt the pain with every word she uttered, if that happened to me I might not be able to handle it either.

“He’s a good man, he chose to save others rather than himself.” I was amazed to what her boyfriend did. He is very kind.

She smiled painfully, I just stopped talking and continued eating. When we finished, we went to a sweet cafe. We just order some sweets foods there and went home immediately.

Monique just took me to the condo where I was staying and she also left immediately because she still had to go somewhere.

I also took my laptop that was on the table and opened it, as soon as I opened it, Cain’s skype call welcomed me. I pressed it quickly to answer it.

“Finally you answer my call already, I’ve been calling you several times since I came here.” He said to me.

“I just got home Cain, Monique and I went to the mall. Anyway how was your trip?” I asked him

“That woman is really a shopping monster. I just got home also, when I got here I went straight to the company.” He answered

“Rest first Cain, you need that. I’ll just sleep also I feel a little bit tired.”

“I will, I just called you before I’ll rest. “He said

Our conversation didn’t last long either, I know that he is tired too. Cain is really a sweet person. Even though he was in the Philippines, he still couldn’t forget to checked on me, even though it was only a few hours since he left. The luck of the woman he will love in the future.

After we talked I got up and went straight to my room to take a shower and change my clothes.

I also spent about 30 minutes in the comfort room before finally going out and sitting on the bed. Suddenly I felt like someone was flicking my stomach, I immediately caressed it. Until now I still can’t believe that I’m carrying a baby in my womb and in a few months I will be a full -fledged mother, if only Thunder and I had a good relationship we would have been complete and happy family now.

I dismiss my thoughts about it, I shouldn’t think about it anymore because it’s impossible that it thing will happen and I already filed an annulment and  it has already been fixed and she already has a signature on it and the lawyer sent it to Thunder, So she was sure that her husband had already signed it.

On the other hand there is a woman sitting in front of a garden holding a glass with a wine.

‘It’s been a year since you left us, you left me and until now I’m still longing for your presence. I miss you kuya. I really do .’- she whispered and sipped the wine.

She turned her gazed to a photo on the table, she quickly picked it up and stared at it carefully. The expression on her face immediately changed because of the woman in the photo. Anger and hatred can be seen in her.

We will meet soon Jewel and when that time comes I will make sure you will pay for everything. I will make you suffer twice the pain I suffered, because of you I lost one of the most important person in my life.’ – weakly but emphatically she pointed to the picture and she crumpled it up and threw it in the trash.
