Carl Demon’s Point of View

I went down first without Hailey and Raze.

“What is the third test you will give?” I asked the old hermit.

“The test of love.” He answered.

“Seriously?” I asked again.

“Do you think I’m kidding?” He asked in a serious tone.

“What do I know about love?” I asked a stupid question.

“That’s why I will give you a test about love so you can learn.” The old hermit said

My watch rang, so our conversation stopped.

“Demon, the old hermit, needs to come here because Drake’s body can’t fight anymore.” Dracilus expressed concern.

“We will go to them. I’m going back to Vampire University again. ” The old hermit says.

“How about the test?” I asked the old hermit.

“Forget the test. My grandson’s life is more important. ” He says.

“Call them Hailey and Raze.” He commands.

I hurried upstairs to call them.

“Hailey, awake.” I wake her up.

“Why?” She asked, even though her eyes were still closed.

Without hesitation, I carried her. I knocked on Raze’s door and woke him up.

“Why did you carry Hailey?” He asked in shock.

“Follow me downstairs.” I said directly and did not answer his question.

When we were all here, the old hermit poured out little glowing things, and there was a portal in front of us.

“Let’s go in.”

So we went inside one by one.

After we exited the portal, we were here in front of the house of Headmaster Dracilus.

We hurried inside. We caught up with Drake, who was already coughing up blood.

“Come out first.” He told us

“How’s Drake?” Dracilus asked.

“I’ll take care of him. He’s my grandson, so I will do everything I can just to save his life. ” He said emphatically.

When we got out, Dracilus was walking again and again. to the right and to the left.

“Can you please calm down?” I said.

“How can I calm down when my brother’s life is in danger?”

“He won’t be abandoned by his grandfather.” I insisted.

“That old man is not my grandfather.” My fingers suddenly heated up because of what he said.

“How can you say that after he hurried to come here?” I shouted.

“Your parents took him away from you and took him to the Forest of Darkness.”

“Didn’t you think about what happened to your grandfather in past times?” ”

“I do not believe you.”

So I did nothing but punch him.

“Are you awake?”

“You’ve stopped!” The old hermit shouted.

“Drake is fine.” He added.

“Is it true that you are my grandfather?” Dracilus asked.

“Yes, my grandson. I’m your grandfather.” The old hermit answered.

No doubt Dracilus hugged his grandfather.

“Forgive me, my long lost grandfather.” Dracilus says.

“How can I reject my grandson?”

The old hermit’s tears were dripping as he hugged Dracilus.

But now it’s tears of joy. The grandson and their grandfather met again.

“Where are your parents?” The old hermit asked.

Headmaster Dracilus sighed deeply.

“Where did they go?”

“O-Our parents are dead.”

“Demon, let’s leave first so they can talk.” Hailey speaks quietly.

“I also want to see my grandparents.” Hailey exclaimed.

“Where are your father and mother?” I asked her.

“My mother died when I was 13 years old. My father left us without my mother, so my mother’s illness got worse. ” She explained.

“Have you seen your father yet?”

“No. Even his photo was all burned by my mother. ” She said as she looked at the sky.

“My mother said my father was dead. Because of an accident. ”

While she was looking at the sky, I was looking at her.

A tear dripped from her beautiful eyes.

“I don’t believe my dad is dead. Maybe mom just said that to cover up what dad did to her. ”

“What do you mean your father did to your mother?”

“One night, I found my parents fighting. I heard everything. Dad betrayed mom. He had a different family besides us.”

“I hid in my bedroom and covered myself with a blanket while holding back tears.”

“My mother is the only one left to me, but destiny has taken her from me.” She said and smiled at me.

My hand moved spontaneously and I hugged her tightly.

“Cry into my arm. Pour out all the sadness you’re feeling. ”

“I will be your handkerchief whenever you cry. I will wipe away your tears until I can see your smile again. ”

I don’t know why I hugged her and I was able to say those words.

But I’m only sure of one thing. I don’t want to see her cry because my heart hurts.

I took her to the dorm to rest.

“You’re falling in love with Hailey.”

The woman in front of me now is the one who gave me medicine to cure the virus.

Her face is still covered by the mask she’s wearing.

“Whom are you referring to?”

“Hailey. Your heart is happy whenever you’re with her, but when you see her sad, your heart breaks. ”

“You’re not the one holding me to dictate to me.”

“What about the woman who died for you?” She asked.

“Will you just forget her because you met someone new?”

“You said she was your first love, but if you love her, you won’t look for another woman.”

“Can you please stop? Why are you bringing back memories of the past?” I asked her.

“Because you’re slowly forgetting the woman who died because she loves you more than her life.” She said softly.

“I will answer your questions. In one condition. ”

“What condition?” She asked quickly.

“Take off your mask in exchange for my answers to your questions.”

“I won’t remove the mask.” She disagreed.

“If you don’t want to remove your mask, I won’t answer your questions.”

“I just want to ask you. Who do you love more the woman you just loved in the past or the woman who will change because of the secrets to be revealed? ”

She asked and quickly disappeared.

Does she have a plan to destroy Hailey and me? I have to get ahead of her.

Secrets? What secrets will be revealed?
