Your Love Is My Weapon

Chapter 336

Chapter 336

The visitor was Bridget.

The smile on Arya's face slowly faded.

Bridget pursed her lips, but her chest fluctuated, indicating that she was not in a good mood.

"You thought it's my brother?" Bridget's tone was not friendly.

Arya remained silent. Content property of NôvelDra/ma.Org.

"Do you think you're happy now?" Bridget asked sternly.

Arya's expression darkened, "What do you want to say?"

"Don't you know it? Are you happy that my brother is going to cut off with his family?" Bridget couldn't

stand it any longer. Xavier was getting busier and busier and never came back home as if he really

wanted to abandon his family.

Every time Daisy cooked something delicious, she was afraid that Arya would not accept it, so she

would ask Nanny Joy to send it.

Every time she wanted to come in to see Arya and ask if she was okay, she was afraid that Arya would

be angry or uncomfortable. So even if she came, she would stay out of the ward and ask Nanny Joy

about whatever she wanted to know.

Seeing her mother act like this, Bridget felt uncomfortable. If Arya loved her brother, she wouldn't let

this happen.

"Did my mother treat you well? Although she opposed you at first and had prejudices against you, she

had got her reason and you must know it. But what do you mean by not letting my brother go back? Let

him abandon his parents and be an unfilial son? Make him only revolve around you all day and treat

you as the only treasure he had? Do you have a special sense of accomplishment by doing these?"

Arya moved her lips, "Bridget..."

"Don't call me like that." Bridget was in a fit of anger, and she couldn't listen to any of her words.

"Ever since my brother was with you, he has changed. He's become so strange to me. He used to be

cold, but he's never heartless." Bridget lost control and roared hysterically.

Nanny Joy came over and pulled her, "Miss, you'd better go back. Madam is not in good health now.

She can't get too emotional."

But Bridget didn't want to leave at all.

Bridget smiled, "She was adored by my brother. What could make her emotional?"

Arya slowly moved down from the windowsill, held the wall, and walked to the bed to sit down. She

looked at Bridget, not feeling angry at her words, but said, "You're too excited. Go back. If you have

anything to say, come and talk to me after you calm down."

"Why should I wait until tomorrow? I'm in a bad mood today. It's all because of you..."

This thing had been kept long in stock in her mind. If she didn't say it today, her grievance would

suffocate her to death.

"Stop talking. Can you go back first?" Nanny Joy pulled her hard. Bridget was still unwilling to stop and

leave, "I came here today to ask Arya what she meant."

"Nanny Joy." Suddenly a deep voice came from behind them. Xavier stood at the door, unbuttoning his

suit jacket and looking at them.

He took off his suit and threw it on the sofa. He pulled off his tie and glanced over. "Nanny Joy, let her

go and let her talk."

Bridget's expression froze for a few seconds. Anyone who knew Xavier knew that the calmer he

appeared to be, the angrier he was.

But Bridget didn't think she was wrong.

"Brother, you have changed. You are no longer the one I know, the one who is wise, calm, and makes

me admire. You only have this woman in your eyes and won't take anyone else seriously."

Xavier walked in, sat by the bed, and looked at Bridget leisurely. "Go on."

Bridget clenched her fingers, "Brother, you should go home."

Xavier looked at her coldly, "Anything else?"

"Brother, I'm your sister, right?" Bridget asked.

"Yes," Xavier answered tonelessly.

"Mom didn't dare to come in every time she came here. She was afraid that she would affect my sister-

in-law. Sometimes, if she wanted to know something, she had to ask others about it. Don't you feel bad

when you see her act like this? She was our mother, and our dad also became silent because of this.

He was about to retire and leave his favorite job. It also hit him a little. You never went home, so you

didn't know the atmosphere at home. It was so lifeless. Every time I came home, I felt depressed. I

almost died of depression. And you never cared. Who else did you care about but her? And she never

cared about you. She doesn't deserve to be treated so well by you!" Bridget pointed at Arya excitedly.

Xavier leaned forward slightly and grabbed Bridget's hand, which was pointing at Arya, "How do you

know it?"

Xavier shook off her hand and his eyes suddenly turned cold, "Do you think you're right? Do you think

what you have said and done are good to the family and good to me?"
