Your Love Is My Weapon

Chapter 369

Chapter 369

The people sent by leaders examined Cullen's cause of death and concluded that he died of illness,

without any injury and poisonous substance in his body.

The deputy said, "The old chief wanted to go back to M City."

Cullen stayed in W City for a long time just because Arya was here.

Now that he was dead, he should be in his hometown.

"The old chief failed to make Miss Harrison recognize him. I'm afraid he left with regret." The deputy

said with bloodshot eyes.

Cullen could be buried in a high-level cemetery, instead of a martyrs cemetery or military cemetery, and

was bound to be buried in M City.

Arya, the only biological relative of Cullen, had to attend and preside over the funeral. NôvelDrama.Org © content.

Since W City was far away from M City, Xavier decided to use a helicopter to transport Cullen's body

back to M City.

He went back to the Old Residence after making arrangements.

Arya and Ramona had been discharged from the hospital and lived in the Old Residence.

When opening the door, Xavier saw Arya sitting alone in the window who was dressed in a black filial

piety suit, with long black hair tied behind her head, and small white flowers stuck behind her left ear.

She calmed down a little.

Hearing the noise, she turned around and looked at Xavier.

Xavier walked over and stroked her forehead. "I've arranged everything. Tonight, Jacob will take

grandpa's body back to M City. We'll leave tomorrow."

Arya had to stay in hospital and greet many people who came to mourn for their dead friend. Xavier

came back to pick her up.

Though Arya didn't know these old people who came to mourn for their dead friend, she didn't have to

worry about anything because Mr. Jones was here.

Mr. Woody also came here to pay his last respect to Cullen, his father's comrade in the army. Cullen

helped Mr. Woody last time about a matter of the Gates Family.

Laura also came with Mr. Woody.

The corridor was filled with wreaths. The men were dressed in black suits, and women wore black

skirts.

The makeshift mourning hall built in the hospital was a little crowded.

Arya stood in front of the mourning hall for more than five hours. Most of the people had already

arrived. Xavier helped Arya to the back, let her sit in the chair, and applied medicine to her knees after

rolling up her pants.

That day, when she knelt at the entrance of the hospital, her knees turned purple.

"Are your feet numb?"

Arya shook her head. She bent over and hugged Xavier. "Thank you."

She didn't know what to do without Xavier.

"Excuse me?" Orlando stood at the door.

Xavier looked back at him. Although Orlando had disguised himself so well that even Arya didn't know,

Xavier knew.

Orlando felt anxious when Xavier looked at him, and he looked away. "Caspar and I came to see Miss

Harrison together. If it's not the right time, we'll come back later."

At this moment, Caspar also came and stood behind Orlando.

Arya said, "Come in."

Xavier stopped Orlando. "Come out with me."

Orlando refused, "I need to talk with Miss Harrison alone."

Xavier seriously asked, "Are you sure?"

Orlando pursed his lips and had no choice but to compromise. He was afraid that Arya got to know

something from Xavier and would not have a close relationship with him.

Orlando forced himself to follow Xavier out.

Xavier would not serve as an outsider because he didn't want other men to show love for his woman.

Xavier warned, "I don't like that others keep thinking about me and especially my woman. I'm very

unhappy. Understand?"

Orlando pretended to be calm. "You have noticed. Even Miss Harrison didn't notice my mind."

He looked at Xavier. "Don't worry, Mr. Jones. I understand."

At first, Xavier was willing to trust Orlando because of Arya. During this period, Xavier got to know

Orlando was a good man but couldn't pretend to know his love for Arya.

"You will be in charge of the new branch office of H City," Xavier said and walked away.

Orlando was left standing there and wondered if Xavier wanted to send him away.

He quickly caught up with Xavier. "You can't transfer me to another post. I'm Miss Harrison's

subordinate."

Xavier stopped and raised his eyebrows in displeasure. "But Miss Harrison would follow my order."

Orlando had no reason to refute him.

During Arya's pregnancy, she didn't manage the company at all. Xavier was in charge of everything

and he wasn't joking.

"You don't make a clear distinction between public and private interests!" After a long time, Orlando

finally said.

"Who are you talking about?" Arya suddenly asked when standing with Caspar behind Orlando.

Arya walked towards Orlando.

If Orlando found a life-saving straw, he quickly asked Arya to decide which side is right, "Mr. Jones

arranged for me to go to H City, where a new branch was established. I can't deal with it..."

Arya looked at Xavier who stood here calmly.

"I think Xavier must have his reasons. It seems that you don't want to accept this task. I remember that

when I took K&T Inc from Richard, it was a mess. You helped me get the company on track. Without

you, the company wouldn't have the current performance. How could you say you didn't have the

ability? If you are worried about money, just say it."

Orlando felt awkward.

Since he used to joke about money in front of Arya, now Arya thought he refused this invitation

because of money.

Orlando couldn't tell what was going on and felt aggrieved.

"Will you give me what I want?" Orlando said angrily.

Arya was in a bad mood these days because Cullen died suddenly. Naturally, she did not notice

Orlando's abnormality, nodded, and said, "Yes, the premise is that I can afford it."

"You can afford..." As he spoke, he looked at Xavier. "Since you asked me to go to H City, why don't

you give me that company?"

No matter how upset and absent-minded Arya was, she found Orlando's unusual words. "Orlando,

you..."

"I agree. If you want it, I'll give it to you."
