Your Love Is My Weapon

Chapter 389

Chapter 389

Although she had been trading with the WS Group, she would never allow it to be in danger and taint

with those dirty things.

"I can cooperate with you, and I can use the WS Group as bait to lure Liam, but..." Her eyes turned to

Officer YANG and said, "Whether our plan succeeds or fails, you have to prove that the cooperation

between the WS Group and Liam is just a cover and can't let the WS Group fall into crisis."

"Rest assured, I promise you," Officer YANG said in a calm tone, without saying anything else.

From beginning to end, he had a serious expression. "Bella, you can go back."

She came out too long for fear of being found by Liam.

Bella stood up, picked up the wine on the table, and finished it in one gulp. The glass was heavily

placed on the table. She looked at Arya and said, "I'll go first."

Arya nodded, as if thinking of something, and asked, "How to deal with the thing you gave me?"

"Give it to Officer YANG. Have you seen it?" asked Bella.

"No."

Bella smiled. She just asked on purpose. Even if Arya wanted to see it, she couldn't open the file which

required a password. It was so confidential that even Officer YANG couldn't open it alone. He had to

enter each one's four-digit password with another officer to open it.

"If I don't trust you, you won't see me today." Bella moved her lips without saying a word. It was obvious

that they were not allowed to have time to reminisce at this time.

Officer YANG looked down at the watch, frowned, and urged to say, "Bella, you should go."

Bella put on her coat, hat and mask, and turned to look at Officer YANG. She said, "Help me send Arya

back safely."

"I will. Be careful yourself." he looked at her and said.

Bella glanced at Arya, opened the door and walked out.

Officer YANG also stood up and said, "I'll send you back."

She said, "Someone is waiting for me outside the door. If Officer YANG is not in a hurry, you can come

to the WS Group tomorrow to get the thing. It's very late today. I have to go home." She was afraid that

if she went back too late, Daisy would worry about her.

Officer YANG nodded and said, "Okay, be careful. I'll go to the WS Group tomorrow."

Arya nodded.

She didn't go out until Officer YANG left.

The Deputy and Jacob ran over. They breathed a sigh of relief when they saw that she was fine.

Arya arranged her coat and said, "Let's go."

She walked through the corridor and passed the hall. There were still a lot of people there. She went

out and got into the car.

This time, Jacob was the driver. He asked the Deputy to go back to have a rest first and said, "It's too

late today. I'll take Madam home."

Just as the Deputy was about to say that he could do that, Arya said at this time, "Let Jacob send me

back. You still have to pick me up tomorrow morning."

Arya leaned against the window with her face in her palm, and her eyes were fixed on the night scene

that was passing by quickly.

Jacob looked at her in the rear-view mirror and asked, "You saw them?"

Arya nodded. She didn't talk much about Officer YANG and Bella. Bella's identity was too suspicious.

The more people knew about it, the more dangerous she would be. So she didn't even tell it to Jacob.

"Then..." said Jacob.

"Jacob, I'm tired," said Arya.

She knew what he wanted to ask and interrupted him.

He pursed his lips and said nothing. And She closed her eyes. When he called her while they arrived,

she opened her eyes. She pushed the door open and got out of the car. She said, "Be careful on the

road."

He said, "OK."

The lights in the Old Residence were still on. After seeing her enter the house, he left.

On the way back, he vaguely saw a figure on the side of the road. It looked a little familiar. When he got

closer, he slowed down and figured out who it was.

"Bridget, what are you doing on the road so late?" He frowned and said. He didn't notice anyone on the

side of the road when he came back.

Bridget looked depressed. She said, "I couldn't fall asleep so I came out for a walk."

He parked the car on the side of the road and got out of the car. He said, "I'll accompany you."

It was dark and quiet in the latter half of the night, without even a star in the sky.

She crossed her arms and walked along the roadside.

He lowered his head, thinking that she was in a bad mood because of Xavier. He could not say

anything to comfort her. The only thing he could do was to accompany her.

"Jacob, do you think my brother is still alive?" Suddenly she asked in a low and hoarse voice.

It was really dangerous at that time. The police had not found anyone, nor any evidence to prove that

the person was still alive, but all the evidence indicated that the person was dead.

"It was very dangerous..." He said and then pinched his lips tightly.

She turned around and wiped the corners of her eyes. Then she said, "Don't say that in front of my

sister-in-law."

He tightened his dry throat and said, "I understand. I do things in a measured way."

With Arya, they rarely talked about Xavier, mostly about work.

None of them spoke again. They fell into silence, with only slight footsteps.

They didn't know how far they had gone. He looked at her and said, "It's too late. I'll take you back."

She glanced at him without saying anything, but she had already turned around and walked back.

"Jacob, why haven't you had a girlfriend?" She asked.

He had been with Xavier for a long time. He looked handsome. Apart from his poor family, he had good

conditions.Exclusive content © by Nô(v)el/Dr/ama.Org.

He scratched his hair and replied, "I don't think I've met anyone suitable."

In fact, he wanted to say that he had been busy with Xavier all these years. Although he still had time

to have a relationship, there was no suitable girl.

He had got in touch with a few of them. But it's all because of his identity. They were too frivolous and

he didn't like them.

"Among all of you, you're the only one left to be a bachelor." She said.

He looked at her in confusion and asked, "Why am I the only one? Edward..."

"Edward is married. Didn't he send you an invitation?" She interrupted him and said.

His face was twisted. Edward was married?

Why did that sound impossible?

He knew how much he liked Bridget.

"Who did you hear it from? How could it be?" said he. And he didn't believe it.

"That's true. I went to his wedding. The bride's very beautiful. She's a girl from abroad." She said,

lowering her head. "Unexpectedly, he didn't send an invitation to you."

Edward, Jacob and Xavier were best friends. The invitation was sent to her, not to Jacob?

She smiled. Was it on purpose? He deliberately let her see him holding another girl's hand and walking

into the palace of marriage to mock her?

"He chased after you for so long, don't you have any feelings for him? Didn't you try to ask him not to

marry another girl?" said he. If she didn't feel it at all, he could only say that she was cold-blooded.

Edward was really good to her.

"I... I did, but he wanted me to stay there. You know, my brother is missing, and my parents are sad. I

can't stay there."
