The bathroom door pushed open and Brielle walked in looking all happy. ” Morning ” She said as she bit her lips slightly. Shane sighed as he bit his lips in regret before turning to her.

He moved closer to her. ” Whatever happened yesterday… I’m sorry. Please don’t take it to heart, it was a mistake ” He said seriously and Brielle’s face fell.

Shane walked out of the mansion in frustration. He was mad at himself for losing self control. ” I should have heeded Alec’s advice to not get drunk ” He muttered to himself as his driver drove off.

*** Kent’s Enterprise ***

” Come on. What is it? ” Layla groaned. She was in Shane’s office and had been trying to get a kiss but he keeps refusing.

” Did I do something wrong? ” Layla asked, staring at him cutely and Shane couldn’t help but feel guilty the more.

” You’re making me feel more guilty ” He muttered and Layla raised her brows. ” Did you do something wrong? ” She asked and he raised his brows. She folded her arms under her br*sts.

” What is it? ” She asked but Shane let out a sigh and looked away. He couldn’t bring himself to tell her he actually made out with Brielle. She would feel really bad but at the same time, he knows a thing could happen and Brielle could tell her probably to make her jealous and that might make her really mad.

He wants to tell her himself but he’s scared. ” Come on, tell me okay I promise. I won’t get mad ” She said and he raised his brows. ” Really? ” He asked to be sure and she nodded.

He inhaled deeply before holding her hands. ” Layla.. I’m really sorry, I really didn’t mean to do this, I was just drunk and out of my mind and I.. ”

” Wait.. wait… If I heard you right, you were drunk and you did something right? ” She asked and he nodded. ” Oh Gawd ” Layla said moving away from him.

” You don’t really have self control whenever you’re drunk. Please tell me you didn’t do something that would hurt my feelings so much please… ” Layla muttered as she placed around a spot.

” I.. we… We actually made out ” Shane blurted out and Layla stopped on her tracks. She raised her brows at Shane. ” Wait.. you and Brielle.. like romanced? ” She asked and he nodded.

” Like the same thing we did together? ” She asked again and he nodded again.

” Gosh… Why!!? ” Layla shouted and Shane sighed in guilt. ” I’m really sorry, I was just out of mind and I wasn’t even conscious of what I was doing at that moment. I’m sorry ” He apologized and Layla let out a sigh.

” You two didn’t have sex right? ” She asked and he nodded. ” I swear we didn’t ” Shane said hurriedly and she nodded.

” It’s fine, at least you didn’t do it purposely ” She said and he nodded. ” I’m sorry ” He muttered again and she let out a simple smile. ” Can I kiss you now? ” She asked and he nodded.

” Gosh, you’re so unbelievable. I clearly told you not to drink too much and you refused. See where it landed you, you should be glad Layla wasn’t that mad at you, if not I would probably be mocking you right now ” Alec said with a scoff. ” Yeah, I really shouldn’t have drank too much ” Shane muttered. They were both in his ( Shane’s ) office.

” So, what about Brielle? Don’t you think she might be really happy about this and think things are back to normal? ” Alec asked and Shane nodded. ” Yeah you’re right. She did take it to heart but I apologized and told her it was a mistake ” He said and Alec raised his brows in suprise.

” Come on dude why would you tell her straight like that. You could have just apologized and say you weren’t in your right mind and you’re sorry and without giving her space to say a thing, then you rush out ” Alec said and Shane let out a scoff. ” I don’t see how that’s in anyways different from what I did. I told her that I was sorry and it was a mistake.. so tell me how that’s in anyway different from what you had said ” Shane said and Alec scoffed.

” Yeah whatever ” He muttered.” So you still don’t know how you’re going to explain things to Brielle? ” Alec asked and Shane let out a sigh. ” I seriously don’t know. It’s confusing and everything’s just somehow.. I don’t know what to tell her or how to tell her ” He mumbled.

” I also can’t think of any ways ” Alec muttered. ” But I really think with time, when she gets to realize slowly that you don’t really love her anymore and you love Layla instead. She would give up ” Alec said and Shane raised his brows. ” You think so? ” He asked and Alec nodded.

” Yeah I think you should leave everything for now and watch things take place itself. You might lose Layla at first but it’s a sure thing Layla’s yours, Brielle’s gonna have to back off ” Alec said and Shane nodded.

*** The Girl’s Apartment ***

” I really can’t believe Shane. Even in his wrong state of mind, he’s supposed to get a hold of himself and remember that he has a girlfriend. Why would he have a romance session with someone other than you? ” Mirah asked almost angrily and Layla chuckled.

” You know Brielle isn’t just someone else, she’s his wife ” Layla said and Brielle let out a scoff. ” Don’t tell me you’re thinking of relenting and giving up? ” Mirah asked but Layla gave no answer and she let out a groan.

” Come on, no.. don’t you ever think of doing that. Shane’s yours and you should stand up for what’s yours, fight for what’s yours ” Mirah said and Layla chuckled.

” You know me too well that I don’t like when two persons fight for a thing, especially when it’s a man ” Layla said but Mirah scoffed. ” You’re so boring right now. Come on, sometimes one don’t give up, we fights for what’s ours.. ”

” But you know Shane wasn’t mine to begin with ” She said and Mirah groaned. ” You know, Shane wouldn’t like hearing you say that. Shane has been yours and will always been yours. Brielle was the one who let her guard down. It’s none of you business. Shane’s your man, stick with him ” Mirah insisted and Layla nodded anyways.

” I guess ” She said and Mirah scoffed. ” You better do as I say. Brielle might try to frustrate you into leaving but don’t. Act like you don’t care whenever she tries to make you feel jealous. You shouldn’t care ’cause you should trust Shane that he loves you so much ” Mirah said and Layla nodded with a smile on her lips.

” Thanks ” She muttered. ” So, how’s it going between you and Bryan? ” Layla asked.” Well, it’s going fine and I keep falling the more every day as time flies ” She said in smiles and Layla chuckled.

” You two’s relationship is so peaceful like you two don’t have no obstruction at all. I really wish my relationship with Shane could be like that ” She muttered and Mirah chuckled.” Come on, the only obstruction you two got is Brielle and once she’s out of the way, you two are free and I’m sure there will be no obstruction ” She said and Layla nodded. ” I guess ” She muttered.

** Shane’s Apartment **

” I’m home ” Shane announced as he walked into the mansion and as thought, Brielle was sitted in the living room awaiting his arrival.

Immediately she heard his voice, she stood and rushed to his front immediately, making him stop on his tracks. ” What is it? ” Shane asked calmly.

” Was it really a mistake like you said? You didn’t enjoy it? ” Brielle asked slowly with a sad and hurt look on.

” Oh God, I’m in this again ” Shane muttered tiredly.
