Shane sighed before nodding anyways. Shane’s phone suddenly rang. ” It’s mom ” He said to Layla who had a raised brow on. Layla nodded in reply a Shane picked the call.

” Mom ” Shane called with a smile. ” Baby ” Mrs Bills replied with a big smile. Layla almost scoffed at how affectionate the two looked at each other.

” Is Layla over there? ” Mrs Bills suddenly asked and Shane nodded while Layla’s brows creased sightly as she wondered why Mrs Bills had asked of her.

” I want to speak with her in private please ” She said and Shane nodded before handing the phone over to Layla and he stood.

Layla looked at him with a raised brows and gestured to him to sit but he only smiled at her before walking away out of view. ” Gosh that jerk ” She muttered annoyingly before turning to the phone’s screen to meet with Mrs Bills who stared at her lovingly.

” So.. Shane told me about the issue on hand.. ” Mrs Bills trailed off and Layla raised her brows. ” I meant.. the issue about your parents ” She said and Layla muttered an * oh *

” No, why would I? ” She asked with a raised brow. ” Please don’t.. my son’s scared you might suddenly want to heed to your parent’s words and make you two separate again. I don’t think he will be able to handle it if it happens.. so please, don’t leave him no matter what. You two could decide to keep your relationship a secret away from your parents before you sort out things with them. But please don’t leave him ” Mrs Bills pleaded almost in tears and Layla sighed.

” Mom.. I wouldn’t. I promise, why would I? I love him so much and it would be absurd for me to leave him ’cause of my parents words. It’s their cross to carry not mine, I love Shane so much and I can’t do without him. I can’t leave him, never! Even if it’s against my parents wish, I can’t. I would just find a way to sort out things with my parents.. but breaking up with Shane ’cause of this.. I can’t! And I promise ” Layla said and Mrs Bills smiled widely.

” Thanks so much baby. I love you ” Mrs Bills said happily and Layla smiled. ” I love you too mom ” She muttered.

” If Shane ever does anything wrong.. don’t hesitate to place a call across to me.. okay? ” She said and Layla nodded. ” Okay mom ” She replied with a smile and Mrs Bills also returned the smile.

” Alright then, bye baby ” She said and Layla waved lightly in response before Mrs Bills ended the call.

Layla sighed in relief before she stood on her feet and headed up the stairs to Shane Suite where she thought he might be.

She got to his suite and headed straight to his room, she entered without knocking and he had just finished having his bath and he was shirtless as his towel was wrapped around his waist while water droplets dropped on his hot body making him look extraordinarily hot and Layla couldn’t resist him.
