“I need to tell Alpha Tyrion. ” I said, standing up from the bed.

Luna held my hand and stopped me, ” No, don’t tell him anything. ”

My heart fell into the pits of my abdomen as the hope to clear everything between me and Alpha Tyrion seemed to be gone with the new condition. But he was my mate and he had always supported me.

Her eyes got the moisture as she talked about my mother. She took a deep breath and hugged me.

And then this Last lycan came to the new pack one day… ” She stopped before continuing again, ” He was there for the annual meet up when he saw Ruby. Her powers and her beauty blinded him. A tear dropped from her eye and I touched her hand, ” I know. Please, stop worrying about whatever happened in the past. We need to work on our future. We need to find my mother. ”

She shot her head up, ” What do you mean? Do you know where she is? ”

“No, I don’t know about her yet but soon I will find her. Then, we can throw this Lycan Calle to where he belongs. In the dungeon… ”

The Queen stood up from the bed, ” Get some rest. He will stay away from you for a while and don’t listen to him. He doesn’t know anything about your mother or father. ”

I nodded, ” Please take care of yourself too. ”

After she was gone, I immediately locked the door so that I could talk to Katie about everything she might have heard. I checked the corner where I had hidden her and had also put a blanket over her but she was not there. I noticed the open window and realized that she must have jumped out of it like all the time. I knew that she would come back soon but she needed her time to get comfortable with the new pack.

‘We need to talk to Tyrion. I don’t care what she just said but you should understand the severity of the situation. I don’t want more misunderstandings between us because we can sort everything out if we are together. ‘ Belinay said.

‘But the Luna just said it’s not the right thing to do. ‘

I knew that she was angry because her mate Bond was stronger than anyone present here. It was just like cheating and betrayal.

I sighed, ‘ Can we try to find out about the Red wolf who helped us? It must be in the pack or nearby because it just came out of nowhere. ‘

Belinay grew interested in the conversation again after her outburst due to the lying, ‘ Yes, that Red Wolf… ‘

I was confused and lost because some people wanted to hurt me and kill me while there was someone who just came out of now where and saved my life from that Lycan.

‘We need to do the search in the dark when everyone’s asleep. I should have asked the queen if she knew anyone with the red fur. It surely is a unique colour and not many of us have it. ‘ I told her.

Belinay snarled, ‘ I don’t think we should be discussing about the wolf who saved us with anyone. Not even the Luna Queen. Don’t you remember what she said? ‘

I frowned, ‘ What did she say? ‘

‘ Trust no one… ‘

I didn’t know if she was really smart or too much paranoid because it was true that we shouldn’t believe anyone but two thing that everyone meant harm was just too much of the drama.

‘If it’s paranoia, then why don’t you tell Tyrion about everything? ‘

‘Ah, okay. We will do everything on our own. Is that right, madame? ‘

I heard some sound from the window and as I turned I saw katie climbing back into the room.

“Where have you been? ” I asked.

” I didn’t want to create any problems for you because the queen might have caught my scent and she would have known that I was a different type of shifter in her Palace without her information. But are you okay? You look stressed. ”

I rubbed my forehead, ” Yes, things have been difficult here. ”

‘Tell her we are going on a search tonight. ‘ Belinay said.

‘What? But didn’t you say that we shouldn’t be telling anyone anything? ‘

‘I trust this kid. ‘ She said firmly.

She was just so weird and talked out of her ass all the time. Tell this person, don’t tell others…

“With a guy? Alright, we can find out who that is. But tonight I need you with me. We’re going somewhere. ”
