“So, tell me, Jammie. How do I look like?”she spread her arms apart.

“I look too good to be real?”Katherine laughed.

“I prepared lasagna for breakfast.”he grinned.

Katherine dropped her hands at her side before sighing out.

“I am asking how I look, Jammie, not what you cooked.”Katherine huffed and rolled her eyes.

“I think you only look beautiful after eating.”James uttered.

“Yah!”she charged towards him but he was quick to make a run for it.

She stopped running after him, going to take her bag.

She went to the kitchen area and ate her food then she departed for work right after.

The cab pulled to an halt Infront of the company and Katharine gave the driver some notes before alighting.

She struts inside the company.

“Hi. Please, do you know the floor where mr Jace’s office is?”she asked a lady.

“Mr Jace?”she repeated, her brows dipping in a frown.

“Isn’t that the CEO?”she asked.

“He is. I just got a job as his personal assistant so..”

“What the?.. you won’t last.”the lady scoffed and scurried away.

Katherine stared at her till she disappeared out of her sight.

She took her lips in, chuckling.

“The girl who helped me!”a voice shrilled behind her.

She gazed back and saw Rihanna.

“Hey, baby girl.”she smiled.

“I see you got the job. That’s not so surprising.”Rihanna stopped before her.

“I did.”Katherine chuckled.

“I am stuck though. I don’t know where Mr Jace’s office is. I actually got a job as his personal assistant.”

“Oh?, lucky you then. Mr Jace is a hot guy. Are you sure you would be able to breathe around him?”Riri joked.

“I should be able to.”Katherine laughed.

“Since we are both new here and we don’t know the way around, why don’t we seek out someone to help us?”

A man appeared just in time and they approached him.

“Good morning. Can you direct us to the office of the CEO?, and to that of..”Rihanna inquired.

“I am new here too. From what I heard from other rookies, we have to head to the waiting room to get our employee’s card.”he responded.

“I see. Thanks.”Riri smiled at him.

He smiled back at her before leaving.

Rihanna flicked her hair back slowly before chuckling.

“He is so handsome, don’t you think?”she turned to Kathrine.

“Well, he is your average guy so he didn’t caught my attention.”Kathy shrugged.

They walked towards the waiting room and as they passed by the woman Katherine encountered the other day, she paused to greet her.

“Good morning, ma’am.”

“Hm.”the woman nodded.

“Good luck on not getting kicked out today.”she added as Katherine was about to walk away.

“I am spending eternity here, I can feel it.”Kathy answered before stepping inside the waiting room with Rihanna.

Three women were there, handing out the cards to the newbies.

They went to collect theirs.

They parted ways after receiving directions to their workplace from one of the women.

Katherine took the elevator to the sixth floor.

She walked to the secretary’s desk.

“Good morning, miss. I am Katherine, Mr Jace’s new personal assistant.”

“Morning. Sure, he is in right now so you can go in.”she smiled back at Katherine.

Katherine nodded and sauntered to the door.

She knocked on the door and made sure she got a ‘come in’ before stepping inside then shut the door behind her.

“Good morning, Mr Jace.”she bowed.

She lifted her head when she didn’t heard any response.

He was busy going over the files on his desk.

The sun that penetrated through the window and settled down finely on his side face, creating an ethereal picture to him.

Katherine squirmed her lips.

She stared down at his lips, envisaging it eating her’s hungrily.

Strands of his hair fell on his eye and he brushed them back.

His hair was black and shiny.

She took a gulp down, trying to get a hold of herself.

She looked away from him and cleared her throat.

Jace finally gazed up at her.

“And, you are?”a frown appeared on his face.

“I am your new personal assistant, sir.”

He robbed his eyes over her body and Katherine could swear that she saw him smirk.

Her heart leapt in joy.

That single gesture of his was enough to tell her that he was a playboy.

Though, she wasn’t dressed in an extreme explicit dress since she has to know him first.

What she was putting on was just a simple body hug.

“The secretary would fill you in on all the things you need to know.”he uttered and took his stare back to his work.

The rumors about him were right then.

Eissh.. she should have bet on that with James.

Anyways, she cannot wait to go tell him that Jace Norman is really a bad boy.

She spun around and high tailed out of his office.

“Just go to your office. He would hit you up when he needs you.”the secretary chuckled.

“Oh, okay. Thank you. What’s your name?”

The secretary tapped on the board before her with a grin.

“Miss Racheal?”Katherine read the name inscription on the board.

“We would see each other around.”she added.

“I bet that.”
