“Who the fuck are you?, you have to take things easy man”, Roberts said to Miles.

Miles almost threw a fist to his face, but Vanessa cut in.

“Stop this you both, Miles please!. Andre is probably on his way already”, Vanessa said.

Well, she was wrong. Andre was grieving in pains. He was the only being alive in the house. Andre is managing to crawl out the bedroom door to get his phone and call a doctor.

“Okay fine but tell your boyfriend not to step in my lanes”, Miles answered.

“He won’t”, Vanessa assured him.

Four hours and thirty eight minutes later,

“You are coming with us”, Vanessa asked.

“Hell yes, the coward would not leave his-“, Miles was talking when a slap landed on his cheek. Vanessa did that.

“She left?”, Vanessa asked.

“Yeah”, Roberts answered after laughing at Miles.

The trio got into the train at the station headed to the airport.

“Fuck, I need something to eat. I haven’t had a meal all day”, Vanessa said.

“Oh shit, at the airport we can get something to eat”, Roberts answered.

“Speak for yourself, I already had enough meal today”, Miles said.

“I never included your ass in my statement”, Roberts informed him.

“So you have fucked every single guy that showed up at Andre’s house”, Miles said to Vanessa.

She heard him but completely ignored.

“Oh yeah, you won’t say shit just because you are clearly a whore”, Miles whispered to her ear.

Vanessa could not help but shed tears. It shouldn’t be him to say that to her.

Robert was confused but remained silent and quiet.

The train stopped at the station, just a six to ten minutes walk to the airport.

They got noodles and chicken at a restaurant close to the airport.

“Cover me”, Miles said.

“Why?”, Roberts asked.

“Just please do as I fucking said”, Miles answered.

They all did and Miles escaped death.

“Why did you ask for a cover?”, Vanessa asked.

“Private but yeah I don’t want to die now”, Miles answered.

The murderers of Chris followed Miles down to Italy. They have not lost track despite him asking for a cover. As Miles walked, he was still in the circle the murderers made. They were all around him but he could not notice.

Vanessa was disturbed, she really wanted to get on that plane home. Nevertheless, the sad news that her father had just passed on has not gotten her yet. Miles did not say anything about her family when she asked. He was more disturbed about his safety.

It has been three months since the incident at Andre’s house, but still nothing has been heard from him or his family.

Vanessa on arrival to her late father’s house, heard two different news but only that of her dad mattered the most. She spent days and nights crying. Roberts was her comfort all through. He stayed with them since his arrival in the US. Although, Miles gave him a tough time.

“Hey, where is she?”, Miles asked Roberts.

“Sleeping”, he answered.

“Okay, tell her I am off to meet someone. Take good care of her”, Miles said to Roberts.

“Sure, take care”, Vanessa answered from the room.

They were all at Trey’s house. One of the houses he got off Selma. Trey and Selma were at the hospital at that moment.

The second news was that Selma was pregnant and Trey was responsible.

“I must find who fucking ended my son’s life”, Asher’s Dad, Mr Lorenzo said.

He already sent experienced armed men to get Miles who was still followed by Chris’ murderers.

Miles was not safe anymore but he did not know this.

Few hours later,

A picture of Miles was sent to Vanessa. His throat had been cut , his arms were separated from his body and his balls were fit into his mouth.

Vanessa’s tears would not end. She had suspected Andre to do this, but Andre was locked up in prison for the amount of deceased beings in his compound. He could not remember anything about Vanessa or anyone else, he suffered a knock and lost some of his memory. All Andre could remember was his late mom.

“Hey, your phone”, Vanessa handed Roberts his phone, she was playing a game on it but a call came in.

“Hello”, Roberts said to the unknown caller.

“Hey, it is Danica”, the caller answered.

“Oh, hi. Need help with something?”, Roberts asked.

“I miss you and I need you back in my life”, she said pleading.

“I am sorry but you’ve lost that man. I have moved on and I am happy now. I have a wife”, Roberts answered.

Vanessa was shocked with the response. She said to herself “A wife?”.

“Take care of yourself, Miss Danica. Bye”, Roberts answered.

Roberts ended the call and instantly had her phone number blocked.

“hmm…., a wife?”, Vanessa asked.

“Yeah”, Roberts answered.

“How? I never met her”, Vanessa asked.

Roberts went on his knee and brought out the diamond piece from the top left pocket of his shirt.

“Vanessa, would you marry me and be mine forever?”

Vanessa jumped from the bed in awe.

“Yes, yes!!!”, She answered as she jumped and gave him a hug.

“Hey”, the prison warder called out to Andre.

“Yeah”, he answered.

“You have got a visitor”, the man informed him.

Andre was caught by surprise. Who cared about him?

“You only got two minutes”, the warder informed them.

It was Lydia. How the hell did she know he was in prison?

“Hey baby”, Lydia said as she saw him.

“What the fuck are you doing here?”, Andre asked.

“I wanted to apologize for robbing you. Only for me to find out my lover was behind bars here in Italy”, she answered.

“A snack?”she asked.

“Yeah, I have not had a nice meal since i got here”, he answered.

She gave him a food pack of burritos and chicken.

Andre hurriedly dived in and started eating.

“Hey, time is up”, the warden announced.

Andre waved bye to Lydia as he grabbed his lunch back behind bars.

Lydia signed in her name as Roselyn just because of what she had done.

The food she gave Andre was poisoned, and in twenty five minutes from her departure, Andre was lying dead in the prisonyard.
