Lexi knocked his parents’s bedroom. He knocked hardly. He couldn’t wait to tell the good news about Jessica who was ready to marry him.

“Mom! Dad!” he didn’t stop knocking on the door.

“Wait a minute,” his mom said from inside. Three seconds later, the door opened and his mother stood behind the door. She looked at Lexi questioningly. “What?”

“Jessica is willing to marry me, Mom. We have to prepare for the wedding as soon as possible!” Lexi told her.

“Really?” Mrs. Anna wasn’t convinced by her son’s words.

“Right! If you don’t believe me, then ask Jessica!” Lexi looked into Jessica’s room, then passed to his room.

Entering at his room, Lexi ran a little and lied his body on the bed. He smiled to himself as he was feeling so happy. However, he didn’t want to admit that his reason for wanting to marry Jessica.

“Yes, Yes, Yes!” Lexi clenched the fingers of his right hand, feeling so happy.

Lexi intended to sleep. He closed his eyes and tried to bring about his sleepiness, but he couldn’t sleep. He was so happy because he would marry Jessica tomorrow.

“Are you ready to marry my son, Jess?” Mrs. Anna asked. She went to Jessica’s room just to make sure Jessica’s decision.

“Yes, Ma’am. I am willing to marry Mr. Lexi,”Jessica said slowly.

Mrs. Anna reflexively hugged the girl such she was so happy. “Jessica, thank you for being willing to marry Lexi, now you will be my daughter and a part of Ricardo’s family,” Mrs Anna said. She hugged Jessica very tightly.

Jessica hugged back to Mrs. Anna. There was only Mrs. Grace who would sometimes give her a hug. Now there was Mrs. Anna who seemed to sincerely love her.

“Thank you Jessica,” she said, unable to hold back the tears.

“Ma’am” Jessica called.

” Yeah?” she stared on Jessica’s eyes.

“Mrs. Anna, why are you crying?”Jessica wiped her tears that ran down on this woman’s cheeks.

“I cried because I was so happy Jessica, thank you, Jess” she answered with a smile.

Jessica was trying to smile.

“Now you have to sleep, we’ll have your wedding with Lexi soon. My son is impatient to get married,” Mrs. Anna smiled. “Take a rest” she closed Jessica’s room door.

After Mrs. Anna left Jessica, Jessica sat back on the bed. She felt sad, but she didn’t know who to express his sadness to. She laid her body roughly on the bed. She looked on the pink folder, marriage contract with Lexi.

“I haven’t read it yet, ” Jessica muttered. Once again she wiped away the tears that were wetting her cheeks.

Jessica’s hand reached out for that folder on the desk. She opened that folder.

She read a row of numbers that became the main point, which written on the paper.

Jessica knocked on the door. She put his ear to the door to listen.

The door opened, Jessica was surprised that Lexi was already standing in front of her.

“Hey my future wife, have you missed me already? Come here,” Lexi pulled Jessica’s hand into his room, didn’t forget to lock the door.

“Sir, we need to talk about the contract, it’s too burdensome for me!” Jessica looked at Lexi.
