Postpone a wedding

“Mr. Lexi, stop it! Aren’t we getting married tomorrow?” Jessica said slowly, tried to escape from the man’s embrace.

He wasn’t hearing Jesslyn’s words. He continued to give a kiss on that girl’s neck repeatedly.

The door was knocked by someone.

“Lexi,” his mother called his name. She was knocking harder than ever.

Lexi quickly removed his hand from Jessica, it could be bad if his mother knew Jessica was in her room.

“Hide,” Lexi pleaded. he opened his bathroom and closed that door, leaving Jessica to hide there.

Then, he walked towards room door and opened it.

“What is it?” Lexi asked, he rubbed sweat on his forehead.

“It’s about your marriage to Jessica,” she said, pushing the door wide open.

Lexi snorted resentfully because his mom got into his room. “What does that mean, Mom?” He stopped mom’s steps.

“Give me three days, I’ll at least prepare a party for your wedding,” she said.

“No Mom, I don’t need a party, I just need to marry Jessica!” Lexi refused. He couldn’t wait for three days.

“But Lex, what do people say, if the wedding of the grandson of the Ricardo Group heir is only carried out simply! Your wedding news should be headline news on social media, if necessary trending on Youtube and news platforms!” Mrs. Anna loved being the center of attention.

“No Mom, I don’t want to! It’s a secret wedding, only close family knows. It was me and Jessica who wanted to get married, not Mama! This wedding is only our family and Mrs. Rani know! Or I’ll cancel my marriage to Jessica!”Lexi threatened. He wasn’t sure of the threat he posed.

Jessica who was listening to Lexi’s words, she would be happy if possible their marriage annulled.

“So, you don’t want a party with a thousand VVIP invited guests in a five-star hotel?” his mom asked, she was remembering Lexi first marriage.

Lexi thought for a moment, didn’t want to tell his mom. He walked closer and whispered. “I don’t want a party and a thousand invited guests! All I want is Jessica.”

“I thought you had a crush on Jessie!” his mother laughed at her son.

“Well, give mama one day to prepare your wedding,” Mrs. Anna added.

“So Jessica and I are getting married tomorrow?” he wanted to make sure.

“Of course, maybe in the afternoon we can hold a new consent,” his mothet explained. Seeing the expression on Alex’s face, she was very sure that his only son was really looking forward to marrying Jessica.

“Call papa here, who knows Uncle Sandy has replied to his message,” she added.

“Uncle Sandy? Why call him?” Lexi asked. Supposedly, the wedding ceremony had nothing to do with The Elders of the Ricardo family.

“Daddy, entrusted the choice of a good day for the wedding of you and Jessica to him, so you have to respect Daddy’s decision.” Mrs. Anna sat on the edge of the bed comfortably. She didn’t want to leave Lexi’s room.

Jessica, who was still hiding in the closet, tried not to make any noise.

“Okay Mom will get to downstair now!” Mrs. Anna shook her head, not sure that her son would sleep this night.

After making sure Mrs. Anna left out of her room. Lexi immediately locked the door. He immediately opened the bathroom’s door.

“Jess, are you okay?” Lexi asked.

“I’m fine, but it looks like I have to go back to my room!”Jessica replied that she breathed in as much oxygen as she could, then took it out slowly.

“No, I won’t let you out of this room!” Lexi avoided her. He was grabbing Jesslyn’s hand and trying to stop her steps.

Jessica kept Lexi’s hand awat. However, the man didn’t give up and immediately stood in front of the girl to block her steps.

“Sir, my business is done! I have to go back to my room. I don’t want to die in the bathroom cause out of breath if Mrs. Anna comes back here again,” Jessica said. Lexi tried to reach for the door handle.

“Why is the door locked?” Jessica protested. She tried to push the door handle, but it didn’t open at all.

“This.”Alex swung the key right in front of Jessica’s face.

“Sir, please open the door!” Jessica begged with a pitiful face.

“It’s not that simple! I’ll let you go from my room but on one condition!” He said obviously.

“What?” Jessica asked. Almost all of his wishes, would be granted always with conditions that she must fulfill first.

“Yes! So, I’ll keep you here if you can’t,” Lexi’s grabbed Jessica’s arms to keep her from trying to leave.

“Tell me, what should I do, sir? Do I have to scream for help to get you to open the door?”Jessics bluffed. The two of Lexi’s fiery eyes, made her aware.

“Kiss me, Jess. Show me your skill while kissing, and I will immediately open the door and let you out of this room! How-?” He offered, rolled his eyes and touched Jessica’s chin.

“Okay, give me the key and I’ll show you my skill while kissing,” Jessica said. Her right hand forced Lexi to give her the key.

“OK.” Lexi gave the key to Jessica. “Now kiss me!”

Jessica brought her lips closer. She grabbed Lexi’s arm.

A short kiss landed on the man’s lips. The next second, Jessica bit Lexi’s arm and immediately opened the door. She ran out of Lexi’s room.

“Damn it!” Lexi saw Jessica’s bite marks on his right arm. Then he bit his lower lip. Although short, the warmth of Jessica’s kiss still made an impression on his lips. “How dare you, Jess!”

“What does Sandy think about Lexi and Jessica’s wedding day?” Mrs. Anna asked. If the eldest brother of her husband already agreed Lexi to marry tomorrow, then she suddenly would prepare a modest wedding for his son.

“My message has already read by Sandy, I still waiting for his reply,” Mr. Samuel said with a smile on his lips. Lexi wanted to get married again, it was really precious moment.

Mr. Samuel’s phone rang. There was a phone call, from someone he’d been waiting for.

Phone call was connected.

“Hello,” Mr. Samuel said as he brought his phone closer to his ear.

“Hello, Sam, does Lexi really want to get married?” Uncle Sandy asked to make sure.

“Yes, Sandy. is tomorrow a good day for them to get married?” Mr. Samuel asked. He was afraid that Lexi would suddenly cancel the wedding.

“Tomorrow seems like a bad day to get married. His wedding is better on Sunday. Sunday is very good!” Uncle Sandy answered while looking at the schedule.

“Three days later?” Mr. Samuel asked.

“Yes, on Sunday!” he answered.

“Okay, thank you. After Lexi gets married, I’ll tell them to go meet you in the village,” Mr. Samuel knew very well that Uncle Sandy always busy.

“Yes, it has to be,” he said enthusiastically.

“Good night,”

The phone call ended. Mr. Samuel closed his phone screen and focused on his wife who was stepping towards room door.

“Anna, where are you going?” Mr. Samuel asked his wife.

“I will tell Lexy that their wedding will be postponed until Sunday.” Mrs. Anna turned around and immediately left the room. She was going to Lexi’s room.

Lexi stood on the balcony of his room, let the wind to touch his face skin. The cold and the sound of the air moving couldn’t warm his heart after Jessica left out his room.

With his thumb, Lexi rubbed a short kiss which Jessica gave on his lips. His lust burned up.

The man let out his breath. He wanted to go to Jessica’s room right now to finish her short kiss. Actually there were not even ten minutes that the girl was left out of his room.

“Damn it!” Lexi closed the balcony door rudely. he didn’t forget to lock it. He took her phone and wanted to gave it back to Jessica, so that the girl would open the door for him.

Lexi went down the stairs excitedly. Step by step to Jessica’s room.

Not long after, Lexi knocked on the door.

“Jess.”

“Jessica!” He repeated calling Jessica in a loud tone.

“Why did you come here?”Jesslyn asked with the door still closed.

“What?! Mr. Alex must be lying, this must be a pretext for you to come into my room, right?” Jessica still didn’t believe. She began to think about Lexi.

“No, I’m not lying. I’ve got your phone left at the top! If you don’t want to, I’ll just throw it away! I don’t think anyone wants to use this old-school phone!” He was joking.

Lexi pretended throwing her phone.

“Wait, Sir! Is that really my phone?” Jessica stopped him.

“Look, this is your phone, right?” Lexi showed it.

“Give me my phone,” she asked Lexi to gave back her phone.

“Let me enter to your room and kiss you as I please! Then I’ll give you this old-school phone!” Lexi was entering into Jessica’s room. The girl really hoped to get her phone back. She didn’t stop Lexi from entering her room.

“Kiss me one minute, and I will return this poor thing to you! This is also punishment, because you dare to bite my arm!” Alex’s hand reached for Jessica’s waist. Then, he landed some kiss on her neck to tease Jessica.

About ten seconds passed, when the sound of a door knock was heard in Jessica’s room.

“Jess?” Mrs. Anna’s voice sounded loud.

Not only Jessica but also Lexi gasped. Lexi stopped his kiss and looked for a hiding place immediately.

He hid in bathroom.

“Jess, open the door, please !” Mrs. Anna asked her to open the door.

“Wait a minute,” Jessica answered after making sure Alex went into bathroom. She opened her bedroom door.

“What is it, Ma’am? How can I help you?” She asked.

“Is Lexi here? I don’t see him anywhere,” Mrs. Anna asked.

“He is not here!”Jessica opened the door wide letting Mrs. Anna into her room.

Mrs. Anna looked all of this room.

“What’s happen, Ma’am?” Jessica can’t ignore a good person like Mrs. Anna.

Lexi, who was hiding in the bathroom, was upset because Jesslyn let his mother into her room. That meant he must to hide like a thief.

“Listen Jesslyn, my husband just called Uncle Sandy and according to the his advice, you can’t have a wedding tomorrow! On Sunday you will be able to have wedding,” Mrs. Anna said obviously.

“I agree Ma’am, next week I also agree!” She thought that was right cause might be Lexi could change his mind then could cancel his wedding plans.

Lexi who was in the bathroom getting mad. Especially after hearing about his wedding had to postponed.

The bathroom door was opened.

“I want to get married tomorrow! No postponed! No canceled! Anyway I’m getting married tomorrow!” Lexi said firmly while looking at Jessica and his mother.

“Lexi, why are you in Jessica’s room?” She asked, raised her eyebrows.

The man caught in the act, speechless.
