Found Again

“You’re back.”

I was startled by Noah’s cold voice. The way he looks at me matches the coldness of his voice. He was seated in the home bar area. It was Noah who suggested building a home bar in my apartment. We both love to drink wine and other liquor, especially during winter.

Andrew is across him, looking like a bartender in the bar. I saw him pouring whiskey on Noah’s glass.

My forehead creased. What are these two doing right now? Are they doing a role play where Andrew is the bartender and Noah is the customer?

I went to them and kiss them both on the cheek.

“What are you guys doing?” I asked.

“We are drinking, obviously,” Noah said sarcastically.

I smirked. “I only see one glass. Are you guys doing role-playing or something?” I can’t help but ask.

“Hell no!” They both reacted.

I laughed aloud. Their reaction is epic. I wish I was able to record it and showed it to the group.

I rolled my eyes. “Excuse me, I’m not that type of girlfriend. I’m a cool girlfriend and not a strict one.” I defended myself.

“She’s a cool and jealous girlfriend,” Andrew added.

I glared at him. He grins then his hand wrap around my waist. He kisses me and whispers sorry and I love you.

“Hey, lovers! Have some respect here okay? I’m single and brokenhearted. Can you please be sensitive and stop doing PDA in front of me.” Noah said.

My mood suddenly changes, especially when I remember my conversation with Alexa a while ago. I really like Alexa for Noah. She’s an amazing girl. I understand why Noah fell hard for her. She is truly a one-of-a-kind girl and Thomas is so lucky to have her.

“Don’t look at me like that,” Noah warned me.

I went to his side and hug him tightly. I heard him sigh and felt his hand hugging me back.

“How’s your talk?” He asked quietly.

My eyes widen. I break our hug and look at him. He smiled at me but it didn’t reach his eyes. My heart hurts seeing my friend in pain.

“I know you went to see her. Alexa told me.” He said in a calm voice.

“I told you to stop communicating with her. You need to move on. She’s not the one for you!” I scolded him.

He smiles sheepishly. “I thought you like her for me?”

I sighed aloud. “I did but not anymore. She already made her choice. You did your best to win her heart but she still chooses Thomas. It’s a red flag for you, my friend. You need to accept it and move on.”

I know I was being harsh to my friend. But I had no other way but to tell him directly the truth and he need to accept it whether he likes it or not.

I know that it’s easier said than done. I also had a hard time forgetting my feelings for Andrew. I was just lucky because Andrew loves me too. But I believe that Noah is a strong person, he can win over a heartbreak. And I know that one day he will meet someone who will give him the love that he deserves.

Noah is a very loving and caring person. Anyone he chooses to love will be happy to have him. It’s just unfortunate that Alexa already loves someone else. But I am very sure that Noah will meet a woman he deserves and when that happens, I will give them my full support.

“Is that what you guys talk about?” He asked.

I nodded. “And I told her that I respect her decision and I am happy for her. But I asked her to leave you alone. That is the best way she could do to help you to move on.”

“And what did she say?”

I glared at him. I don’t like the hope in his eyes. He was hurting himself for Pete’s sake!

“Stop expecting from her, please. You are just hurting yourself.” I said.

“Fine. I get your point.” He said sounded defeated.

I hug him again. “You’ll get over her and you will meet the girl who is destined for you.”

He nodded then I release him from my hug.

We all decided to drink and enjoy the rest of the night. I was beyond thankful now that Noah and Andrew are comfortable with each other. The time I’m out with Alexa gave these two a time to bond.

Andrew is good at giving advice and Noah needed real good advice. I am very content with my life right now. I have a good career, a supportive family, a loving boyfriend, and real friends. My only wish now is for Noah to find the love that he deserves and my life will be beyond perfect.

“What if you are really the one for me?” Noah suddenly asks then he look at Andrew with a smirk on his face.

I purse my lips together to prevent myself from smiling. I know Noah didn’t mean what he said. He was just teasing Andrew.

“Stop dreaming Elordi! Alli is mine. I’m the only one for her.” Andrew said possessively.

“You’ll never know what fate will do.” He said to tease Andrew more.

Andrew looks really pissed with Noah. “Can’t you just go home?!”

Noah laughed aloud and I was not able to control my laugh anymore. I laughed together with Noah which made Andrew more pissed.

“Chill, dude. Allison is all yours. I never look at her romantically. You can rest assured that I will not steal Alli from you.” Noah said but still laughing.

“Even if you did you will never succeed in stealing her.” Andrew confidently said.

“You are not sure about that, right Alli?” Noah said then he wink at me.

I purse my lip and shrugged. “We will never know until it happened.”

“Allison!” Andrew scolded me.

I burst out laughing then I kiss Andrew on his lips and hug him tightly. “I’m just joking baby. So just chill okay? I’m all yours. No one can steal me away from you.”

“Whatever lovers! I’m out! Thank you for this great evening!”

After Noah left, Andrew and I talked about our trip. My work here is almost done. Next week I am free to spend time with the love of my life.

Though, I was having second thought about it. I would love to spend time with Andrew but I am not sure if it’s right to continue our plan knowing Noah’s situation.

Noah needed me now. It was finally my turn to be his shoulder to cry on. When I was heartbroken with Andrew, Noah is always there to comfort me and help me not to think much about him. It was Noah who help me with all the things I am achieving now. Though Noah never asks anything in return. As a friend, I also want to do to him what he did to me before.

“Keith told me that the helicopter that I requested is available anytime. So if we decided to leave earlier, I could just tell him and he will arrange everything.”

I could see the excitement in his eyes. I was hesitant to ask him because it might ruin his mood. But I will not be still until I say it.

“Can we invite Noah to join us on the island?”
