“Can we invite Noah to join us on the island?”

The excitement in Andrew’s eyes is now gone. It was replaced with a frown.

“Why do you want to invite him on our vacation? We both agreed to spend this vacation with just the two of us.” He calmly said.

I lower my head due to the guilt that I am feeling now. I know that I am being unfair to Andrew. He was right, we both agreed to spend this because with just the two of us. But I don’t think I’ll be able to enjoy the vacation knowing Noah’s heartbroken.

Andrew sighed and pulled me to him and he wrapped his arm around me. I leaned on his chest.

“I understand that you are worried for Noah. But he’s a strong guy. He will surely overcome this.” He said while brushing my hair with his hand.

I lean my chin on his shoulder to look at him. “Alexa is the only girl he ever loved. He only sees his future with her, many girls tried to win his heart and all of them failed.” I reasoned out.

“I get your point. I know exactly what he is feeling right now. You are also the only girl I ever loved and the only girl I see my future with.”

My heart flutters hearing those words from him. I feel like I’m the luckiest girl in the world.

I hide the giddiness I am feeling and acted unaffected by what he said.

“Exactly! And you know how hard it is for him right now. He needs us now.” I told him.

He sighed and look defeated. “Fine. Let’s ask him the next time we see him.”

My eyes widen with excitement. “Really? You agree to bring Noah with us?!” I couldn’t hide the shock and excitement that I felt.

“Yes I will allow him to go with us but I doubt he’ll join us.” He said nonchalantly.

“Of course, he’ll agree,” I said confidently.

Andrew and I were invited as a guest to the Lush fashion show. They will be launching their Spring-Summer collection for this year.

Noah and Ava are the finales. I’m super excited to see Ava. I haven’t seen her since I got back in here. And I know that we have a lot to catch up on.

Andrew is my escort for today’s event. I’m sure that people will not put malice on this because the media here is rooting Noah for me.

And I know I was right when some of the people from the media started to ask me questions about Noah.

“Are you here to support Noah?”

“Did Noah aware that brought a different escort?”

“Are you back for good?”

“When are you going to reveal your real relationship status with Noah?”

I smiled at the cameras who click and flashed nonstop. “Noah and I are just friends. And here with me is another friend from the Philippines. He was featured in my magazine and he was a famous singer in the Philippines. Since we are both invited by Lush to this event, we decided to be partners for tonight in support of Lush and of course Ava and Noah.”

“Does Noah knows him?”

“Is Noah okay with it?”

I smiled again before I answered them. “Yes. Noah and Andrew knew each other and they are now friends. Noah always respects and supports my decision.”

The media keeps on asking questions, thankfully the staff help Andrew and me to handle the media. They directed us to our seats.

The show started. I like how the designer came up with the new collection. It was like a fusion of all generations. The design explores the tension of opposing forces like present and past, couture and casual, day and night.

Noah and Ava nailed the final walk. Everyone was in awe as they watched them on the runway.

The event was a success.

I was excited to go backstage to see them. I held Andrew’s hand and showed him the way to Ava and Noah.

The backstage is in chaos which is normal in all runway events. Some models are taking pictures with others, some are just with their phones, some are talking to their manager or make-up artist, some are doing video, I guess for the vlog.

I already took some videos for my spiels. Then my team was the one in charge to take videos for the whole event as a highlight. This event will also be featured in my vlog and magazine.

“Ava!” I called her.

She was still in the dress that she wore on the runway. She was talking to Noah and their makeup artist.

“Alli!” She greeted me back.

She hugged me as soon as I reach her. “Oh my gosh! I miss you so much!”

I smile and hug her back. “I miss you too my supermodel.”

We exchange some greetings also with other models that I knew. I even introduce Andrew to them. I could see the admiration in their eyes. I just let them be. I know they may look flirty or naughty but they are harmless, also Andrew will never take anyone’s baits of seduction.

As Andrew and I wait for Noah and Ava to finish with their business backstage, I met my team who did the cover of the event. I check the videos and gave some instructions.

The four of us will be attending Lush’s after-party. We can’t skip that event because Noah and Ava was the star of the event. My team will also be there to take some pictures and videos for the magazine and vlog content.

“OMG! Alli, I couldn’t believe when Noah told me that you decided to stay in the Philippines for good.” Ava said as soon as we went inside Noah’s car.

Noah will be driving us to the event.

“I have been staying here for too long. My parents miss me. They just found me but were not able to spend time with me and catch up with the lost time we had. Also, my dad was hospitalized. That was the wake-up call for me not to take my parents for granted and I should value the time I have with them.” I explained to her.

Ava is a sweetheart. After my interview with her and after she met my mom, I became close with her. She was my closest friend here next to Noah.

“I heard your story. How come you did not tell me about that? That explains why you don’t know much about your mom’s legacy.” She said.

I nodded. “I was not planning to keep it a secret. There’s no chance to open up the topic.”

“Agree. And that is not something to be kept secret. But aside from that, I also found out something. That the guy in front is your boyfriend!”

It was not a question. I’m sure Noah was the one who told him since no one knew about it except him.

“It’s a long story but I’m sure Noah already told you about it,” I said then I rolled my eyes.

“He did. But I was happy when I heard about it. I’m happy for you girl!” She said then she hug me.

“She’s happy because your boyfriend is Andrew and not Lieo!” Noah teases her.

She releases me from her hug and slaps Noah in the shoulder. Andrew and I just laugh because of their childishness.

Ava’s face reddened. Even Andrew looks surprised by her reaction.

“Should I video call Lieo?” Andrew started to tease her too.

“No! No! Don’t you dare do that!”
