Found Again

“Oh! You guys are fast!”

I rolled my eyes at my cousin who was the one who opened the door for us. He asks us to come in, I rolled my eyes again at him as I was entering their hotel room.

Andrew and I had no choice but to shorten our vacation because of these people. I didn’t get all the details, all I know is they are here because they have a meeting with Catherine to talk about the sponsorship. I didn’t know that this sponsorship is in a hurry for them to fly here in the US.

“We are now complete!” Mike said cheerfully.

Indeed because even Iya was here. I can’t believe that time will come where I’ll say to myself that I am not happy to see them. How can I be happy to see them if they are the reason why my vacation with Andrew is shortened?!

Iya went to me and hugged me. “I’m sorry Alli I failed to stop them from coming here. I know that your vacation with my cousin is ruined by them.” She whispered to me.

I just sighed and hug her back. “I understand you. These people are not easy to handle.”

We arrived at the head office of Lush. I could see the amazement in Iya’s eyes. I was just like her when I first went here that’s why I totally understand what she feels right now.

Iya is more into luxury brands than I am, which is not surprising because Iya grew up in an affluent family.

Vince’s manager is already in the conference room when we got there. He will serve as the band’s manager. Though Andrew has his own manager which is Anne, he will be the point person for this project. He will just explain the details of the project or sponsorship to Anne. I will not be a hypocrite, I was happy when Ben, Vince’s manager explained it to us. I don’t want to see her as much as possible even though it’s inevitable since she was my boyfriend’s manager.

The meeting went well. They came to an agreement that all business and entertainment events of the group will be attended, individually or as a group will be sponsored by Lush. And they will also be the main model of Lush’s next collection. Catherine will talk to the legal team about the contract.

“It seems like the project is not in a rush. But why did you ask for an immediate meeting?” I asked Catherine.

Catherine’s forehead creased while the boys except for Andrew and Ben coughed and looks like they were choked by something.

“I did not request this meeting. I told them that we can do a virtual meeting first to talk about the offer then we can have a contract signing event for them. They were the ones who insisted to come here.” Catherine explained.

I just smile at her. I need to control the rage that I am feeling right now. They obviously planned this! They wanted this meeting as an excuse to ruin my vacation! I hate them!

As soon as we reach my apartment I punch all the boys except Andrew of course.

“You guys are so evil! How can you do this to me and Andrew?!” I yelled at them.

They just grin at me which made me more irritated. How come I’m friends with these people?! They are not normal!

Lance went to me and place his arm on my shoulder. “It was my fault. I was the one who thought of this plan. I can’t help but feel protective of you. I trust my friend Andrew. I know that he really loves you. But I’m still not comfortable with you spending vacation with him alone. So when Vince told me about Lush’s offer, I had an excuse to go here in the US.”

I look at him to see if he was sincere and I could see the sincerity in his eyes. I sighed aloud. I now understand him but I’m still pissed.

I rolled my eyes at him. “I thought that it was only Andrew who is very protective of his cousin. I didn’t know that I also have one.” I said in a calmer but with a bit of teasing tone.

We all laugh at my remark and they started teasing Lance.

The group decided to celebrate that deal that they got from Lush. I decided to call Noah and Ava to join us here in my apartment for the celebration party of the group.

I can’t wait for Noah to meet my friends in the Philippines and of course, I am also anticipating Ava and Lieo’s first meet-up. I hope that they will get along well.

“OMG! I can’t believe that the supermodel Ava has a crush on our friend Lieo.” Iya said after I told her about Ava and Lieo.

We are in my room to change clothes for tonight’s party.

“Me too. But I’m not that surprised because Lieo is really handsome. He is actually more handsome than the models here.” I said.

“I bet Noah will object on that,” Iya replied.

I nodded at her. Knowing Noah, he will really not accept that. “Well, Noah is a different case. He’s in the same level of Lieo when it comes to looks.”

“Wait, I suddenly remember something. You are still not telling Andrew about your relationship with Vince. I ask him a bit about it and he has no idea at all.” I asked.

Iya’s eyes widen. “What did you tell him?”

Iya looks really nervous. Well, knowing how protective Andrew is when it comes to Iya, I’m not surprised why Iya was feeling nervous about this. Andrew is more worst compared to Lance.

“Relax. I did not tell him about your relationship with Vince. I just ask him if he knows the girl that Vince is courting right now.” I said.

She looks serious and attentive. “What else?”

“He said he doesn’t have any idea. He didn’t even know that Vince like someone.” I said to calm her.

She sighed aloud. “Thank you for not telling my cousin about me and Vince. I know it’s hard to keep this a secret to him.”

I hold her hand and smiled at her. “I was not in the position to tell Andrew about you and Vince. It should come from both of you. But I hope you guys will tell him about your relationship soon. He deserves to know about it. And he might be angrier if it’s too late.”

“Will you go with him when he decided to talk to your cousin?” I asked quietly.

She pouted her lips. “I wanted to come with him but he told me that he wanted to talk to Andrew alone.”

“I agree with Vince’s decision. I also think that it will be best for the both of you if Vince will talk to Andrew alone. In that way, Vince can handle Andrew’s reaction better.” I told her.

I am thrilled with the development of their relationship. They just need Andrew’s approval for their relationship to be official. I hope Andrew will give his approval the soonest. It will not be easy on Vince’s part but I know he will overcome.

After our not too short chat. We decided to come down and join the boys. Noah texted me that they are already on the way to my apartment.

This night will surely be exciting! I can’t wait!
