Found Again

I was shocked and ashamed at the same time. I realize that in my eagerness for him to move on, I became insensitive to his feelings. I know how hard it is to move on from someone you truly love. I’m so thankful for the love that he is giving me, but I want him to fall in love with someone else who will give me the love that he deserves.

“I’m sorry,” I said sincerely.

Lieo smile at me but it didn’t reach his eyes. My heart hurts seeing him like that.

“It’s okay. As I said, I know that your intention is good. But I will appreciate it if you will let me move on, on my own way and phase.” He said quietly.

I bit my lower lip and nodded at him.

The night was so beautiful and romantic. Andrew asks me to walk with him on the beach after we had dinner.

We were quietly walking on the beach while holding each other’s hands, feeling the cold wind and appreciating the beauty of the island. This is the best feeling ever. I could live on this island forever, of course with Andrew.

As we are walking away from where we are staying, I saw a romantic setup that I assumed was prepared by Andrew.

There’s a blanket and two huge cozy pillows. There is also wine and a light snack. The rose petals that were scattered in the blanket and scented candles made the place more romantic.

“How did you prepare all this?!” I said in disbelief.

“I plan all this before we went here. I thought this plan will not push through because of the sudden call of your cousin. I’m glad that we were able to come back and do this. Do you like it?” He asked gently.

I touch his face and move it closer to mine to give him a quick kiss. “I love it! Thank you, baby.”

“Anything for you, my love.” He said then he kissed my hand.

As we enjoy our moment alone together, I shared with him about my talk with Lieo.

“I told you he will not like it,” Andrew said.

I nodded and sighed. “Yes, you are right. I feel a bit ashamed because I became insensitive of his feelings.”

“He will understand. He knows that your intention is for his own good.” Andrew said while playing with my hand.

I sighed again and lean on his shoulder.

The days we spend on the island are so worth it. All of us enjoy our stay on the island. We became so busy for the past months or years rather. I think this is the first time we had this kind of vacation.

We all wanted to extend our vacation but we simply can’t. Our work is already filling up.

Ava and Noah escort us to the airport. We are using Andrew’s private jet since we are avoiding the media to have an idea about our arrival.

I was happy to see my friends are getting close with Noah and Ava. Especially Lieo and Ava. Maybe I should let them fall naturally just like what Andrew said. I really hope that they will fall in love with each other and have their happily ever after.

It was a long flight but we never feel bored because we were complete. We talk and bond just like what we always do when we have free time and they are in our house. We didn’t even notice that we already arrived in the Philippines.

Andrew was driving me home when his phone rang. It was Anne calling him on the phone. He look at me and smile then he answer his phone, the loudspeaker was on.

“Andrew!” Anne called him.

“Yes? What is it?” He asked in a formal voice.

“I was told about your project with Lush. Why am I not aware of the offer you agreed on? Am I still your manager?” Anne said in a cold voice.

I get her point. I will also not like it if I were in her shoe. So I understand why she is acting like this. I was also surprised when I did not see Anne at the meeting. I forgot to ask him about it.From NôvelDrama.Org.

“The offer was sudden.” He only said.

“Really? Then how come, Vince’s manager was able to join the meeting?” Anne asked.

I nodded. I got her point again.

Andrews sighed aloud. “Believe it or not I was also surprised with the sudden arrival of Vince and the group, what more the meeting with Lush. They almost ruined my vacation with Alli.” He explained.

“I hope you are telling the truth. You should tell me if you still want me to be your manager or not.” Anne said.

“Of course Anne. You are doing well with your job, I had no plan on changing my manager.” He said to comfort Anne.

I couldn’t help but roll my eyes. They sounded like a couple arguing.

Andrew saw me when I rolled my eyes. I avoided his gaze and turn to the car window.

“Can we talk about the details today? I’ll go to you.” Anne said.

“What? No! We can talk about that tomorrow, I am driving Alli home and might stay there for a bit.” He said trying to stop Anne from going to our house.

Andrew knew that she was not welcome in my house anymore.

“It’s okay. I’ll go to Alli’s house and we can talk about the contract there.” She said then she end the call.

That made my jaw drop. What did she just say?! She will go to my house today? Who said she’s welcome in my house?

I can feel my head boiling from irritation.

“I’m sorry baby, I was trying to stop her from going to your house,” Andrew said apologetically.

“I know. I heard you saying that. I can’t believe her! What a thick-faced!” I couldn’t hide my irritation.

“I will call her again to stop her.” Andrew carefully said.

I rolled my eyes. “As if she will listen!”

“I’m sorry baby. But I saw you agreeing to her a while ago.”

My eyes widen. “Because I understand her point. She was bypassed! I understand why she was reacting that way. And you guys sounded like a couple by the way.” I said in a sarcastic tone.

Andrew looks troubled and doesn’t know what to say.

“I’m really sorry baby. As you said, I am at fault because she was bypassed by Vince’s team. I was just consoling her.” He reasoned out.

“But you should sound that way. She might misinterpret it. You sounded so sweet that it irritates me.” I said.

“I’m sorry. I really do. I will change my tone next time and will give a clear line between me and Anne so that she will not give meaning to my actions.” He said assuringly.

I just shook my head.

Anne was already in front of my house when we arrived. Andrew stops his car and we both went out of the car and went to Anne.

“Andrew you don’t need to stay here. I will just call the maids to get my luggage in your car, just go with Anne and talk about the offer or whatever.” I said calmly.

“What? This meeting will surely end fast. I can still stay here with you.” Andrew said.

“No, it’s okay. We had a long flight. I also need to rest and get ready for my meeting with Liam of Platinum Inc.”

I was about to kiss Andrew to say goodbye when Anne speak angrily.

“Don’t you dare!”
