Found Again

Anne keeps sending me tweets and messages from fans.

I know what she is doing. She is lowkey convincing me of changing my decision to retire. One thing I like about Anne as my manager is that she’s also very accommodating to my fans. She made sure to update them on all my events and plans. She always tells me that fans nowadays are like the artist’s PR.

They are the ones who are more eager to promote my concert and other events. They made sure that I will always in the top trending list. They even bought air-time ads to promote my album and concerts.

I am feeling sorry for them because I was not able to bring back the love and support that they are giving me.

“Anne I know what you are doing. But it’s too late now. I already announced it and you will be leaving for Paris next month, I will have no manager even if I go back.” I reasoned with her.

“Alli can be your manager. I know that she will be very willing to be Anne.” Anne said sounded like it was not a big deal.

“Alli is too loaded with works. I can’t hire her as my manager.”

Anne smirked. “Believe me, Alli can always find time for you and your career. Alli was always your number one fan even before you started your singing career.”

I just shook my head. I will never win an argument with Anne. I surrender.

“How was your day, my love?”

Alli and I are now having our lunch in a restaurant near her office. Alli called me and asked me if I can join her for lunch. And who am I to reject my beautiful girlfriend’s invitation?

“I’m puzzled.” She said then sighed aloud.

I took her hand and caress it. “Why what happens?”

“I met your fans this morning. They have been standing in front of our building for four hours and some of them are not eaten yet.”

Alli told me what happened during her meeting with my fans. I think I know now where the fans get the idea of approaching Alli. I was no other than Anne.

“And what did you tell them?” I asked calmly.

She looks at me with her pitiful expression. “I told them that I see what I can do. And I will do my best to convince you since I’m also a fan of yours even before you join showbiz.”

I knew it! Alli will be persuaded by them.

“So I was thinking…” Then Alli took her iPad and showed me a presentation she made.

“Since you already settle the breach of contract with Vince’s network. Why not sign with Stellar?” She said in a business tone.

My brow rose from her proposal. “Stellar has been planning for an expansion. We thought of getting artists and managing their careers. But we are not limited to celebrities. Since our expertise is more on Social media platforms, we are also planning to get potential influencers.”

I guess this is not a lunch date but a lunch meeting. Alli was so excited as she was explaining to me her plans.

“Did you do all these today?” I asked curiously.

Alli shakes her head. “As I said we are planning to expand Stellar, and we already thought of this. We are still polishing it. But I finish it this morning since I’m eager to help your fans.” She said.

I was impressed. My girlfriend is really something.

After my lunch meeting with Alli, I called Anne into my office.

I gave her a death glare as soon as she enters my office.

“What did I do?” Anne asked pretending to be innocent.

“You are not retiring? Do I need to talk to Vince’s team now?” Anne said excitedly.

“No need to talk to Vince’s team. I will be working at a different agency. If you have any questions just talk to Alli and she will explain everything to you. Now, go I have so much work to do.” I said dismissing her.

“And schedule a greet and meet with my fans tomorrow. I want to meet all of them to say thank you.” I said before she left my office.

Anne booked a conference room in one of our family’s hotels. This is where the meet and greet will take place. I even told Anne not to let the fans spend a single penny for this event. I paid for all the expenses from the design, sound system, and food. I also asked Anne to book rooms for the fans. Since the event will start at eight in the evening I want them to have an overnight stay in the hotel to enjoy more of their stay here.

I saw the excitement in their eyes when they saw me entering the place. Anne gave me the mic to give my speech to them.

“First of all, I want to tell you that I read all the messages you sent to me, thanks to my manager Anne. I am so thankful for all the love and support that you guys are giving me. I always think that I don’t deserve all of this but you always prove to me otherwise.” I said in my opening speech.

“I know that my announcement is a big blow to all of you. I want you to all know that your feelings are valid and I completely understand. I’m also thankful for the fact that you are very supportive of my decisions, especially with my relationship with Alli. And this is the only time that you asked something from me.”

“But first, can I ask for your help with my plans for my upcoming concert?” I asked them.

All of them nodded and wait for me to speak. I told them every detail of my plan for the upcoming concert.

“We will make sure that we will execute your surprise perfectly. And we can’t wait for it to happen!” Jessie said, one of the fans.

I also told Anne of my plan. This will serve as her last work for me as my manager. She assures me that she will make everything perfect, not just for me but for Alli as well. This is one of her sorry and thanks you gifts to me and Alli. I can wait for this plan to be executed. I waited for this time for two or three years now. Finally, it will happen!

“And I know you guys are waiting for my response about your petition,” I said before I end my speech.

“Anne and I decided to include in my opening speech the decision I had made. I can’t take back the network and I have agreed with it. I already settle the breach of contract with them. But since you guys have moved Alli’s heart, she thought of a way to give you guys what you wanted.”

“Aren’t you curious about how I am without the camera? Or how I am as a CEO of my companies? Do you want to know how sweet I am of a boyfriend to Alli?” I said to tease them.

They all scream in excitement.

“Stellar, Alli’s company is thinking of creating a youtube channel for me. So you can guys know more about me in a more personal way.” I said to end my speech.

“OMG! We want that! That’s way more than what we asked!”

“Thank you, Ms. Alli!” They all shouted.
