Found Again

Our names are once again on the top list of Twitter and even in the news. Andrew is more eager now to retire because of this. He wants his peaceful life to be back. Showbiz is too chaotic for him.Copyright Nôv/el/Dra/ma.Org.

Most Belle fans stop bashing, especially those who have big followers because Anne release a statement from Andrew’s side that they will not tolerate any bashing for me. And they will surely take legal action against those who insult or threaten me. But of course, there are still a few who will bash and we can’t control it anymore.

I told Anne just let those bashers be.

“I’m sorry, Alli but Andrew wants to sue those fans who didn’t listen. He said that if we let them be, some fans will follow. It’s better to give some of the bashers a lesson so that others won’t follow.” Anne said.

Anne and I are now in her office. I visited Andrew but he was still in a meeting so I visit Anne as I wait for him.

“Well, you guys have a point. People nowadays are becoming irresponsible. They are just saying things without thinking.” I said getting their point.

Anne nodded. “Agree. It’s easy now to create a troll account and bash people. I don’t know what they are getting from bashing.”

“I know right? And the funny thing is, they bash people saying they don’t like them but they are the ones who are more updated than the actual fans.” I said it not only on my part but even to other celebrities and influencers.

“Yes, maybe they are just in denial but the truth is, they like the artist that they are bashing. You will not give your precious time to someone you don’t like.” Anne said in agreement.

“Or that is their way to make the artist notice them,” I said then we both laughed.

“What did I miss?”

Anne and I look at the door entrance and saw Andrew. I smiled at him.

“I showed Alli the list of bashers you will sue.” Anne simply said.

Andrew went in and sat beside me. “I thought you are visiting me? But why are you in Anne’s office?”

I rolled my eyes. “You are not in your office,” I said as a matter of fact.

Andrew just grin and kiss me on the cheek. “I’m just kidding.” He then said.

“Stop it, lovers! Have some respect for a single like me.” Anne said in a teasing tone.

“Go get yourself a boyfriend. You are not getting any younger Anne.” Andrew said.

“That is my least priority as of the moment. My main priority now is your last concert and my future career in Paris.” Anne said while her eyes are twinkling.

I smiled to myself. I can see how genuinely happy she is right now.

“But are you sure you want to retire? What about your fans? They are all in front of Vince’s network to ask for help to change your decision.” Anne said then she showed us some of the pictures of the fans waiting in the networks with signage asking for help to convince Andrew not to retire.

Then Anne showed us another trending topic on Twitter which is “Andrew please don’t retire.” I click on the said tag and check the tweets. Most of them are Andrew’s solid fans. Some fans give testimony on how Andrew’s music helps them with their anxiety and depression. Some of them are saying that they don’t normally support or fangirling local artists but Andrew is different. His talent deserves to be heard not only in the Philippines but all around the world.

I was moved by their genuine love for Andrew. I can relate to them because I was once a fan girl. I looked at Andrew who is also reading some of the tweets. I can see that he was also moved.

“I hope these people will find another artist who is meant for this industry. I appreciate their love and support but showbiz is not really for me.” Andrew said as he finished checking the tweets.

“Let’s go?” Iya asked.

Iya went to fetch me in my office. Since Anne is leaving for Paris next month, she decided to have a girls’ night out. As per her, she misses our bonding moments before.

“Anne will go straight to our favorite spa. She just needs to finish something in the office.” Iya said while driving to our destination.

Andrew’s office is close to the spa, so Anne will just arrive on time.

“Anne!!!” Iya hug Anne as soon as she saw her.

I just shook my head.

Our well deserves a break from all these chaotic events. We book a room with three beds so we can still have some chitchat while receiving a massage.

“This feels so good. I was not able to have a massage for months. I was so busy.” I said while enjoying the massage.

“Me too. I was too stressed from thinking about you and you know who.” Anne said.

I chuckled. Anne was referring to Liam.

“OMG! I heard about him, is he pursuing you, Anne?” Iya can’t help but ask.

“No! He did nothing but annoy me.” Anne said sounded so defensive.

Anne is still in denial about her feelings for Liam, same with Liam. He will not do this extra mile effort if he was just feeling sorry for Anne. I don’t believe him when he told me that he will just help Anne and he was not hoping to be together with her.

“I pity Andrew’s supporters,” Iya said while we are having our dinner.

I half smile and nodded. “I was really moved reading their tweets for Andrew.”

“Andrew’s solid fans are really caring and not toxic. They are not like other fans who dictate the artist that they are supporting. They are also patient with Andrew. They understand that Andrew’s priority is not his singing career but his businesses. They are also not demanding Andrew’s attention. They just genuinely support him for his music.” Anne sweetly said.

Weekends passed and I still think about Andrew’s fans. I feel sorry for them.

I was near my office when I saw a group of people with signage standing in front of my office building. I asked the driver to stop the car near those people. I have a hint of who these people are. And I was right. They are Andrew’s fans.

I went out of the car and go to them. One of the fans saw me and announce it to them. They all turn to me showing me their signage.

“Help us, Ms. Alli”

“Please convince Andrew.”

“We want to hear more of his music.”

Those are some of the messages in the signage.

“How long have you been here?” I asked with concern in my voice.

“We all gather here since four am in the morning.” One of the fans said.

I check at the time and it was already eight in the morning. “You guys are waiting here for four hours? Have you eaten breakfast?”

Some nodded and some shakes their head.

“Do you want to go with me and talk?” I asked them.

They nodded their head. I asked the guard to get all their signage and keep it for the meantime. We went to the office’s cafeteria.

“Just ordering anything you want. It’s all on me.” I said to them.

Their eyes widen and they all went to the counter to order. The cafeteria manager asked for my order. Since I’ve already eaten my breakfast, I only order my favorite hibiscus tea.

“Why are you all here?” I asked when they are done eating.

“We are here hoping we can convince you to help us convince Andrew not to completely quit his singing career. We are not against your relationship and we are all aware that Andrew’s priority is you and his businesses. We can wait no matter how long it is for his music. Even if it takes two, five, or even ten years. But please tell him not to quit completely.” Ellaine said, the head admin for Andrew’s fans club.

I get them. And as I said, they are bugging me for days now. I looked at them and they are all looking at me with hopeful eyes. How can I reject them?

“I see what I can do.”
