Third Person POV

Nalzen and Aaron are there at Nathan’s wake every night. Nalzen still feels guilty while Aaron is always by her side. Comforting her.

Ever since Beatrice break down that night. She’s been silent. She never looked at someone but only watch Nathan’s coffin with her tears falling. She didn’t wear the little pillow anymore on her trtt they are sitting at the back.

He took a deep sigh.

“Yeah, she’s been sick a long time. Before she met Nathan, she is already sick.” Aaron answered.

“What? Then, why did his Father allow her to get married?” Nalzen asked in disbelief.

Beatrice should be put in a hospital and seek some medication.

“He just loves her so much, I guess.” But Nalzen won’t believe that reason.

“That’s bullshit then! How can he t ⁶ daughter to ruin someone else life?” Nalzen angrily asked.

“Calm down wifey. You are not fully healed yet. You also need some rest.” Aaron hugs her. She’s angry and it’s not good for her health.

“I’m pissed off! Beatrice should be imprisoned and punished for what she’s done but we can’t. Because she is sick! Isn’t it unfair?” She asks crying.

“Shhhh, people are looking at us. Don’t stress yourself too much. Everything will be fine.” Aaron comforted her.

“No, it will never be okay!” She answered angrily.

“Look at Beatrice. She’s already repenting for what she had done. She is suffering from the inside. Let karma do the rest wifey. Just give her a second chance.” Aaron is very kind today. Nalzen noticed it.

“Why? You’ve been like that ever since. I thought that you will be the one who will sue her in court?” Nalzen asked wondering.

“It’s not like that. Antonio and I had been good friends ever since before. And he begs for me for Beatrice. He promised to bring her home.” He explained.

“So, that’s it. But I’m still angry with her!  I can’t forgive her. Never!” Then she looks at Beatrice who is sitting quietly beside Nathan’s coffin.

Nathan will never come back. And it’s because of her! Because of her crazy mind.

Tomorrow is the last day of Nathan and they will say goodbye. It hurts! She’s supposed to be dead but he rather dies and took the bullet for her. She didn’t know how long she will felt the guilt! She’s guilty and all she can do is be with him for his last days.

Nathan’s life is unpredictable. No one thought that he would die early. His father is suffering the most. He is guilty of pressuring his son. For him, he killed his son for his greed.

No matter how he regrets it. Nathan will never be coming back. That’s the sad reality that they will need to face in the coming days.

Beatrice’s mind is clouded. She looks nothing on the outside but is suffering from the inside. Her heart is bleeding silently crying. She regrets all that she’s done! She could have loved Nathan blindly even if he didn’t love her.

But she’s been jealous and hated the fact that Nathan couldn’t even love him back as long as Nalzen is still alive!

She wanted her dead and done evil things.

But in the end, Nathan is dead. The result of her being a cruel person.

She knows that she’s crazy and there’s something off about her. But when she met Nathan. Her life was changed! He added colors to her dark world and she was in love the moment she laid her eyes on him.

She will never forget the first time they met. The cold Beatrice became warm and loving.

But she didn’t think that Nathan has already had a girlfriend.

She didn’t mind it at all and start doing her evil deeds to have Nathan. She succeeded and thought of a happy ever after but she was wrong!

Nathan loves his Dear so much that it pains her when Nathan called her during their lovemaking!

Rage and anger started to build up and jealousy is eating her day by day.

She decided to kill Nalzen but failed. And she needs to pay for all of her crimes and bad deeds with Nathan’s life!

Now that he’s dead, she felt empty and shallow. She can’t bear to live while she is suffering from the pain of losing Nathan.

Tears fall on her face without her knowing.

She can’t live without Nathan! Their baby died and now Nathan too. She can’t live without them.

GOODBYE NATHAN

Nathan will finally rest in peace. This is his last day to be with his loved ones and family. All of their College classmates attended as well as their friends at work. Nalzen takes leave too and she’s still frustrated about the failed launching of her Z Fashion. And it’s all because of Beatrice again.

The burial was successful and Nalzen remain at the cemetery to bid her last goodbye to Nathan.

“Thank you, Nathan… I’m sorry! I’m sorry that you died because of me. But I guess I will never say goodbye. This is not the end. I will not say goodbye because I will treasure you in my heart. You’re a good person and a kind friend. You are my best friend…” No matter how she controls her tears. It still came out.

“Take care.” She was shocked when she turn around and see Beatrice standing.

“Can we talk?” She asked timidly.

Nalzen has no time to play so she declined.

“No, thanks. There’s nothing to talk about.” Her short reply then started to walk away.

“Please, I’m going home now,” Beatrice begs for her.

She stopped walking and face her.

“Okay, What is it?” She asked.

Beatrice moves forward.

“I’m sorry Nalzen. I’m sorry for everything that I’ve done.” She said lowering her head.

“Your sorry cannot bring back Nathan’s life. He is still dead!” Nalzen answered angrily.

“I know! I know that you can never forgive me. But I still want to say sorry and repent for all the evil deeds that I’ve done. But still, I want to say sorry.” Then she touches Nalzen’s hand.

And Nalzen feels a sudden creep. She pulled her hand.

“It’s not that easy. We are talking about life here. Look at Miss De Leon, she’s still at the hospital. Comatose!”Nalzen manages to control her anger but her voice raises a little bit.

Beatrice lowers her head.

“I know that it’s not easy to forgive me. I’m evil but let me say sorry at least. Please accept my sorry.” She begs again.

“I can accept your sorry. But I can’t forgive you.” Nalzen answered with finality in her voice.

“I understand. Thank you, Nalzen. Please take care of yourself and Don’t let anyone take away the love of your life. I didn’t mean that you will do evil like what I did. Fight for your love. It’s not easy but you must stay strong.” Beatrice said before she walked away.

And Nalzen was left dumbfounded. She didn’t understand Beatrice’s last words. She just looks at her slowly walking away…

GOODBYE BEATRICE

Antonio is waiting for Beatrice outside the cemetery. It’s their flight to Germany. Finally, they are going home. And he’s hoping for the best. He is hoping that Beatrice can finally have a medication.

They ride their private plane from Germany.

Beatrice is silently watching outside from the window. The sky is blue and the clouds are very beautiful.

But her heart is heavy. She doesn’t want to leave Nathan alone. She wants to be with him.

She looks at her Father lovingly. She knew that her father did everything for her. And she’s happy knowing all of this. But she’s determined to stay with Nathan forever.

“Daddy, can you get me some food? I’m hungry.” She said smiling.

“Sure, finally you will eat! Wait for me in here.” Antonio happily stand up and went to their private kitchen.

Beatrice is teary-eyed while looking at her loving father.

After putting the small paper on the table. She opens the window.

“Goodbye, Daddy…”

She jumped immediately and is floating in the air. She spread her hands feeling the warmth of the sun, then she sees Nathan and their baby.

“I’m coming, Nathan…” Then she closes her eyes peacefully.
