Chapter 51

Third Person POV

Antonio is happily calling Beatrice with a sandwich in her hand.

“Here’s your food!” He said smiling but Beatrice is nowhere to be found.

“Where is she?” He ask himself and then saw a small piece of paper on the table. He puts the food and reads what is written on the paper.

I’m sorry Daddy, I want to be with Nathan forever. Please let me be with him.

Antonio noticed the window is open and a feeling of nervousness hit him. He look down and there he saw Beatrice happily smiling.

“No! Beatrice!” Antonio is a man but he cried hard. Sees with his two eyes that her one and only daughter died in front of him. Beatrice smiled for the last time.

“No, Beatrice! Come back.” He shouted and tears fall from his face.

Her daughter is gone! And it’s all his fault. He immediately went to the pilot and commanded them to go back immediately.

He needs to find her daughter!

“Go back! Let’s go back!” He shouted on his private pilot.

Although they are wondering why but they followed what Antonio instructed.

They landed and he immediately hire a search and operation manhunt to look for Beatrice’s body. From what he saw, she landed at the sea! Will she be able to see his daughter again?

He didn’t know what to do!

He decided to call Aaron. It rang on the other line and Aaron answered the call.

“Yes, who is this?” Aaron asked. He didn’t know the phone number.

“Aaron, can you help me? I don’t know what to do now.” He said desperately.

“Antonio? I thought you went back to Germany? What happened?” Aaron asked concerned.

“Beatrice jumped from the airplane. We are looking for her body. But there is no news until now.” He said sadly.

Aaron was shocked upon hearing this news. How could it be? Is this Beatrice’s karma? He suddenly asked himself.

“Okay, Where are you? Wait for me in there.” Then Aaron ended the call.

Antonio is devastated and lost right now. He only got one daughter. One child to be exact! And now she’s gone. His precious daughter…

“What is happening, hubby? You seem bothered.” Nalzen arrives bringing some fruits from the kitchen.

“I need to help Antonio, wifey. I will go and come back later.” Then he kissed Nalzen’s forehead and walked out towards the door.

“Wait! Antonio? I thought they went back to Germany?” Nalzen asked puzzled.

“Yes, but Beatrice jumped and now they are looking for her.” He answered.

“Jump? What do you mean?” Nalzen asked puzzled.

“She jumped at the airplane.” Aaron sighed deeply.

This is sad news. He hated Beatrice once before he knew that she was sick. But he didn’t wish for her to die.

Nalzen’s fruits falls down the floor when she heard the news. She didn’t forgive Beatrice and now she suddenly died without her forgiveness!

Is she a bad person? She’s asking herself.

“Are you okay?”Aaron asked.

“Y-yeah, but somehow I felt guilty and sad,” Nalzen answered sadly.

“It’s okay. We all didn’t expect this to happen. Just don’t think too much. It’s not your fault! I better go and help Antonio.” Then he kissed Nalzen on the lips.

“Take care, hubby.” That is all she can say.

She’s still thinking about their last talk. Beatrice sounded creepy! And now, she’s dead. She hated her but don’t know why she was sad! She pities her and didn’t expect to sacrifice her own life just to be with Nathan.

What a great love it is!

Can I die for Aaron? She asked herself.

Deep down inside she knows the answer. She will die for him and be willing to suffer and sacrifice just to make him happy. All about his happiness is the only thing she cared about.

Just for him, she will do everything…

And she didn’t even realize that she is already crying.

She loves Aaron so much! And she didn’t expect this even in her wildest dream.

But her heart already belongs to him. But doubt and fear are shouting from the deepest part of her. And that is…

Did he love her? She doesn’t want to hear the answer! It’s already killing her that Aaron is engaged with someone else while marriage is valid and legal.

If Andrea is Aaron’s happiness. Anytime, she will set him free. And thinking of this is already breaking her heart.

Meanwhile

Aaron arrived and comforted Antonio. He looks depressed and hopeless. He blamed himself for what happened to Beatrice. He is not a good father at all! She was taken for granted and he is full of regrets.

Aaron taps his shoulder.

“Don’t worry, we will find her.” Giving him confidence.

Antonio chuckled for acting like a weak man. He must admit that his daughter is his weakness! He must find her baby…

“Thank you. I am not losing hope.” He answered sadly.

Then out of nowhere someone shouted.

“We found her!” One of the men runs towards them.

Antonio’s eyes glisten with hope. And for the first time in his life. He thanks God heartily.

He slowly walked towards Beatrice. Aaron is just on his side, supporting him.

It’s a miracle that Beatrice’s body is still intact! And she is smiling. Happiness is visible on her face. She died peacefully.

But he could not control his tears from falling.

His little angel. His dear daughter is gone! He hug her and cried silently.

Antonio decided to bury Beatrice immediately. And he put her right next to Nathan. This is her wish and he knows that she will be happy and at peace.

Nalzen is just around the corner. Watching the coffin being down. She can’t control her tears. And she felt sad! She didn’t know why but it break her heart. A love like this is very heartbreaking!

It’s not intentional at all. We can never choose whom our hearts will love. And that is the saddest part of all. She understands Beatrice’s feeling of unconditional love toward Nathan.

And as if something touches her heart and finally gives her forgiveness to Beatrice.

“I forgive you. You may rest in peace…” She whispered while wiping her tears.

She didn’t want this to happen again. Too much pain and hurt!

Then out of nowhere, Beatrice’s personal Secretary pop out! Bringing flowers for the couple.

“It’s you?” Nalzen asked surprised.

“Hello Ma’am.” She greeted Nalzen and went to Antonio for her condolence and sympathy.

Beatrice is her boss for a long time. She knows that there is something wrong with her but she needs money during those times. That’s why she endured her attitude and tantrums.

It’s not all the time Beatrice is angry. She is kind sometimes and will give her things and money for her family. That’s why she can’t get angry with her for a long time. Beatrice helps her family.

She is heartfully thankful to Nathan too for giving her family a better life. The couple deserves her bow and respect.

“I’m living.” She said to Nalzen.

“Wait, why did you leave Beatrice?” Nalzen asked curiously.

She’s always been her sidekick, then out of a sudden, she’s out in the picture.

The secretary smiled.

“It’s a long story but let’s make it short. It’s because of sir Nathan. That day that he’s gone missing he was kidnapped by Beatrice and I saved him in return for a better future for my family. He saved me and give us a better life I will be forever thankful to him.” She said teary-eyed.

Nalzen is speechless. She just looked at the Secretary’s back which is slowly fading away.

Nathan is very kind. She wishes her a peaceful life wherever he is now. She cannot help but cry!

She can’t stop blaming herself. Nathan died for her!

Aaron said goodbye to Antonio and hug Nalzen from the back.

“You are crying again. It’s not your fault. Stop crying wifey. Nathan is happy now, trust me.” He said while kissing her forehead and wiping her tears.

Goodbye Nathan…

Goodbye Beatrice.

Nalzen silently said Goodbye without turning her back.

She doesn’t know what will happen in the future. But her love for Aaron keeps holding on. Gives her hope to continue her life without regrets.

Nathan and Beatrice will be forever remembered…
